Well found out this morning that I am pg!! 3 weeks and 4 days so pretty early days yet though!

Been trying for a fair while but first month using OPKs so would highly recommend them.

Will introduce myself anyway - dh and I both 26 with a 17 month old ds. Am so excited to be pg again even though it was a bit of a rough ride last time around!

coppertop · 31/07/2005 13:10

Will keep fingers and toes crossed for you, anchovies. xx

It sounds as though you've all been busy! I'm now 6+3 and have my first appointment with the MW in just over a week. Last time around I had a dating scan at about 8-9 weeks but I don't know if things have changed since then.

I feel sooooo sick. I can't face eating much but if I don't eat anything I feel even worse. Bleurrgh!

Cadmum · 31/07/2005 13:53

anchovies: I am so sorry. What a horrible thing to have to think about... Is it possible that the consultant might see something different and give the go-ahead? I really hope that your appt. goes well.

Chamomile · 31/07/2005 14:23

Hi people, just checking in as I haven't posted for a while. I've had a rough couple of weeks with Ds1 and then Ds2 ill so lots of sleepless nights. I also had my parents staying for a week which was hard as I dont want to tell them yet. I'm off on holiday tomorrow for 2 wks so I wont be around- didn't want you to think I had just disappeared.
I've not been in contact with the midwives or doctor yet- need to sort all that out when I get back.
Sorry you're having a worrying time, Anchovies.

RosiePosie · 31/07/2005 15:07

I just had my booking in appointment. Not much to report. She moved my due date to 3rd March, but I'm not sure why as all the online calculators have said 28th Feb. All will be revealed at the scan though, I suppose - which is on 18th March.

It's really hard keeping it from people, especially when you feel rough! When do you think you'll tell them, Chamomile? Have a lovely holiday anyway, see you when you get back.

Well done keeping track of everyone, Rosieposie! I'm planning to tell people after 12 wks mainly because of my last mc. but I might not last that long.

munz · 31/07/2005 15:29

quick hello girls.

RP - glad ur midwife apt went well.

anchovies - fingers crossed all goes well for you at your next apt.

hope you're all ok, update on the cousin g/f front, she's due the 8th march apparently hopefully we won't be having them on the same day! so her date seems to have been put back by a whole month (exactly) so i'm not convinced it's his even less so after this it seems to now fit with dates he saw her which I beleive was actually the end of may not earlier as I thought. It's terrible really as all he wants is a baby to love him. fingers crossed it is his.

anyhow best get off just a quick stop.

baggybear · 31/07/2005 18:48

Hi everyone!

WOW Rosieposie! Well done for keeping up with us all like that!! I can't even keep up with my kids!!!

I'll fill in th e gaps...

Baggybear aged 30. DH 31. DS1 6, DS2 5, DS3 2. #4 due 28th march 2006 (making me 5 weeks + 5 or something like that - useless with dates so early on!! Don't even know what day it is!!)

Hope this gives you a bit of an insight into my life.

How are you all doing re: morning sickness?? Just got back off weekend away camping and MS decided to kick in yesterday so had to keep running across a field all day!! Goodness knows what the other campers thought I was up to !!

RosiePosie · 31/07/2005 19:05

I can't take all the credit - anchovies helped a lot - I just copied and pasted the last one and filled in the gaps. Question for you Baggybear - what's it like having three? I'm kind of thinking and hoping "well, one more can't make that much difference, can it?" Please tell me I'm right!

baggybear · 31/07/2005 19:06

Well done anchovies, too

Rosieposie - How old are your two children?

desperatehousewife · 31/07/2005 19:17

hi everyone.

Good luck Anchovies with the appointment tomorrow....we'll all be thinking of you.

I can't believe there are so many of us on this thread - well done anchovies and Rosieposie for updating the list.

I'm thinking though woulnd't it be better if we all gave our expected due dates, as the number of weeks we are is now very outdated!?

Read one of my preggie books last night and it said the typical symptom of a missed m/c is brownish discharge. I had this for 4 days a week ago. Doc said nothing he could do. I'm going to call doc again tomorrow and ask for an early scan to see what the situation is. I can't bear not knowing. Just want to know now and get it sorted out if it isn't progressing.

May well be completey fine and normal though. Who knows?! Really hope i don't have to fight for an early scan...... I'm 8 weeks today.

expressmummy · 31/07/2005 19:22

dhw im also 8 weeks now and i has a m/c in may my midwife told me that it was standard practise to offer a early scan to anyone who had exp a m/c or other problems before im sure if you explain to your dr or try to see youe midwife they will gat you in for a scan i have mine on the 10th
hope you get your app

anchovies i hope all goes well tomorrow i will be thinking of you x x x

hope everyone is well

baggybear · 31/07/2005 19:24

desperatehousewife - I hope you get your scan and don't have to fight too hard. will be thinking of you. xx

desperatehousewife · 31/07/2005 19:25

thanks express and baggy!

Anchovies/Rosieposie - sorry just realised the list does infact mainly contain when people are due!

i'm supposedly due March 11th.

x

baggybear · 31/07/2005 19:27

Just finished whizzing through last few days of thread.
anchovies - good luck for tomorrow. Will be thinking of you too. xx

Frizbe · 31/07/2005 19:40

anchovies thinking of you for tomorrow {{Hugs}} if its any help, one of my friends, and my sister in laws little sister, have the same problem as you and they have both carried virtually to term recently, although both were given planned c-sections to ensure baby was out quickly and safely.

Cadmum · 31/07/2005 20:19

DHW: how are you feeling? I keep thinking that I must be OK because I so exhausted and nauseated. I hope that you don't have to fight for your scan. reassurance goes a long way to helping you have a healthy, happy pregnancy.

RosiePosie · 31/07/2005 20:35

Good luck and best wishes to all of you with pg worries/problems. I feel blessed that I've never had any and pray that I never do.

Baggybear, I have a 4.5 yr old ds and a 20 month old dd.

anchovies · 31/07/2005 21:31

Hi everyone

Well done on the list rosieposie, there are loads of us now aren't there!

Thanks everyone for all your positive vibes, am dreading tomorrow. Was hoping this pregnancy would be stress free after managing to carry ds (after being told there would be the same problems, having steroids etc) to 42 weeks where he was finally born weighing 10 pounds! Last time though the pg was in the left hand side, the big side which is why he didn't run out of room.

DHW, you could try ringing the early pregnancy unit at hospital to get an early scan, might work better than trying your GP? I am sure you'll be fine but it will put your mind at rest at least.

Hope you're ok too cadmum, all these pregnancy worries are rubbish aren't they.

Hope everyone else is ok as well and not feeling too sick/tired!
