Hi Everyone
I really must check in on this thread more regularly, there's always so much to catch up on! Big congratulations on all the healthy scans coming through
Naetha I feel exactly the same about finding out about having a DS this time round, as I'm not quite sure what to do with the dangly bits!! My DD is great, rather bossy, but cuddly and lots of fun. On the nappy front, only problem is getting poo out of, ahem, crevices, especially now she shouts "no" at me when I try to do it - roll on potty training! I had to laugh at your DS's "loodleloodle" for Iggle Piggle - he sounds sooo cute!! The Iggle Piggle toilet trainer unfortunately doesn't stay on the toilet. DD likes to carry it around with her instead... mmm, didn't see that one coming
Broodzilla I have to ask, what make of pram is it that you've bought (and promoted so well, I think they should pay you commission!!) and do they do double buggies? I haven't had any Braxton Hicks this time round but they started at about 24 weeks when I was pregnant with DD and I found that leaning forward on something while wiggling my hips around helped. I probably looked like a hippo might if it ever decided to take up exotic dancing!
beepbeep I'm sorry to hear your DD has been so unwell and hope she gets better soon. xx
Helips How old is your DS? DD will be just over 2 when baby makes his appearance so I'd like to move her into a new room and bed round her birthday. BTW, I've also now got a hideous cough. I think I must have caught your swine flu via the web!!
EricaMaye My mum did the same thing about the names we thought of for DD and it really annoyed me. This time I haven't told anyone a thing (except for you guys and she's stroppy about that too! Can't win... We've actually decided that we don't like Dominic now after we remembered an old friend's devil child with the same name so we're back to the drawing board...
Tigger Ta muchly for the heads up about Mamas and Papas. I'll be heading that way at the weekend...
Went to physio today with pelvic pain and been given a brace and crutches to walk with. DH has just booked his flights for 5 days to the Isle of Man next month and I'm worried about how I'm going to manage DD, work, housework etc on my own when I'm struggling to walk and do normal activities...
On a completely unrelated matter, I put "The Naked Office" on Virgin 1 on tv for background while I type and just got an eyeful of a naked man's "gentleman's region" - must be turning into a prude, as I was a bit shocked, truth be told. I really thought they'd blur them out!! Off to make a bracing cup of tea! x
