Scorps so sorry

TPT 9.5 sheets

LaDiDaDi · 05/08/2009 01:16

Scorps, I've posted on your other thread. I hope that you take your time to make what feels like the right decision. More (hugs).

I ordered some sale maternity wear from mamasandpapas today, thus breaking my own mental rule that I wouldn't buy anything until 20 weeks (19+3 now).

I've also been measuring up the room that will be the baby's nursery and working out where to put the cotbed. I've chosen a changing unit so I think I'll order that next week.

Scorps · 05/08/2009 12:17

thankyou everyone. I have been trying my hardest to still eat for Smidge's sake. i have discovered he met her 4 weeks ago, when i was 15 weeks and thats when he snogged her.

Mybox · 05/08/2009 14:04

Good news for the first part of the amnio result - so relieved. The full result will be in two weeks now so fingers crossed.

GoldenSnitch · 05/08/2009 19:40

Good news! Bump has given me a couple of good kicks today so I'm feeling a lot better and very reassured

Keep going for baby Scorps - we're all here for you and baby shouldn't suffer just because Daddy turned out to be a knob. So sorry for you going through this at what should be such a special and happy time

anniebigpants · 05/08/2009 20:34

Scorps-Thinking of you hun, stay strong for you and your gorgeous kids.

Mybox-Very happy for you that all good with first part of results, hope the next two weeks fly by for you for the full results.

GoldenSnitch-Glad you're feeling reassured now, naughty baby for worrying you like that!

biscuitsmustbedunkedintea · 05/08/2009 20:41

Scorps - Thats awful news, and just want to say be strong, accept the welcoming arms of family and friends, and remember we're here.

Had 20wk scan today. Fantatsic scaning lady (sonographer?) who took her time and talked us thru all of it. Very clear on screen and DD was fascinated as well, pointing out all the parts of her body too . We weren't going to find out the sex as we didn't last time but DH announced last night that he'd like to know. As he's compromised on me having a home birth I felt I needed to bend a little too, so we found out. Daughter Number 2 on way! DH has been in a bit of a funk as he really wanted a son, but having seen how much I got worried about him being down about having another girl, he's cheered up and now worrying about saving for 2 weddings So far we've not told anyone and have made out we didn't find out the gender, how long that will last I don't know. Still calling baby "he" though and think I will still buy neutral clothing as have many many years of pink clothing to come!

Kingsroadie · 05/08/2009 21:15

Oh Scorps, am so sorry to hear that. Can't imagine how upset/angry you must be...

Hope others all okay and congrats on another little girl biscuitsmustbedunkedintea!

Hi everyone,

Not been on here very much, I never seem to get any time to post with DD around.

Just wanted to send Scorps lots of hugs...it is such a horrible situation to be in, especially when you are so emotional with being pregnant. Try to concentrate on yourself and bubs. Hope your family and friends are giving you lots of support. You will get through this.

biscuits I am kind of hoping for another girl although not really bothered. I just think they might play together better and you don't have to get a whole new set of clothes which works out much cheaper

I am starting to feel alot of movements now, although mostly they feel like a small eel
is wriggling inside me It is all starting to feel a bit more real which is kind of scary as I'm still not sure I'm ready for two littlies. Ah well too late now

Good to hear all the positive scan results. We have ours next week and I can't wait. I haven't had a midwife appt since my booking in and it seems ages since the 12 week scan so I feel due another look and listen to the bubs.

Hope everyone is feeling good.
xx

BexJ78 · 05/08/2009 22:14

i am definitely feeling much more movement now and have been for the last couple of days...exciting!

And Scorps, keep going and things will get better. my experience of these things (parents/friends etc) is that the cheater normally gets their comeuppance in the end...and too right!

night all.

xxx

alexpolismum · 06/08/2009 11:02

One thing seems to have started in the last few days that I didn't have in my previous pregnancies - bleeding gums. I'm hoping it's just pregnancy related and not a sign of something serious. Has anyone else got this?

Stigaloid · 06/08/2009 11:09

Hello - not been on here much as get sidetracked but thought I would check in. scorps - big hugs to you.
Alexpolismum - i get bleeding gums in pregnancy.

I am also getting very fat thighs this time around and really freaking at the weight gain. Going to be so much harder to shift this time than last and i still have 4 months to go of getting bigger

Big scan on Tuesday though so excited to be finding out what we will be having!

Scorps · 06/08/2009 11:21

Thanks all, i do so believe in Karma and i know one day someone is going to shit on him big time.

Scan is tomorrow morning, 1130. I have lost weight, my maternity trousers are too big now and im wearing size 6 maternity things. He keeps saying how very sorry he is, but sorry he got caught, or sorry he actually did it?

I am going for a sexual health screening now, as i odnt believe him entirely that he didnt have sex with her. I have seen pictures of her (he was fb mates with her - no more), nothing special, chubby-ish, blonde, nothing more than me iyswim. Odd.

Kingsroadie · 06/08/2009 11:38

Am 23+1 and my babe seems to delight in kicking me senseless when I go to bed and between 4-6am! A lot of movement like she's doing boxercise or something - and I imagine it will only get worse . Perhaps this is indicative of her wake/sleep pattens to come!

Scorps - hope you're okay...

AmazingBouncingFerret · 06/08/2009 20:04

scorps Im so sorry to hear about your OH, if you dont mind me saying (and im sure you dont) What a cocksucking, piece of slime! Stay strong and I hope the scan goes ok for you. x

Baby wont stop moving! Especially at night, plus I seem to be sleeping really lightly lately any little noise will wake me wheres normally I can sleep through a tornado (last year literally went right by our flat!)

I am also suffering from bleeding gums I really need to make an appt and take advantage of the free dental care!

Hope everyone else is feeling ok and im glad the baby is finally kicking you snitch.

Milliemuffin · 06/08/2009 22:08

Bit of an embarrassing one but has anyone had really hot boobs? I'm only a 34C but sometimes they feel so hot and sweaty underneath (and they're not even saggy!) , have proper bras so that's not the issue.

Baby has been kicking like crazy, he (she?) was really active at the 12wk scan so definitely a fidgety (sp?) baby!

BexJ78 · 06/08/2009 22:13

Hi Milliemuffin,

err unfortunately yes! mmmm, nice!
our office is so hot and clammy it is just not conducive to maintaining a fragrant pair of hooters! how attractive... i am finding as this pgcy goes along that any little dignity i once had is disappearing like there's no tomorrow!

Milliemuffin · 06/08/2009 22:18

lol, good to hear

madmissy · 07/08/2009 10:07

madmissy · 07/08/2009 10:07

Moosy · 07/08/2009 10:42

Good luck at your scan today Scorps, hope you're feeling ok

Pinkjenny · 07/08/2009 10:52

Wanted to wish you well for your scan Scorps, hope you're not doing too bad.

Scorps · 07/08/2009 13:20

you can all call him what ever you like.

I'm having another girl , so happy, 2 of each, amazing!

alexpolismum · 07/08/2009 13:56

Fellow sufferers of bleeding gums!! Please, please, please tell me the problem goes away after pregnancy! It's just so horrible and I feel like my teeth are not clean all the time!

Congratulations, Scorps! I grew up in a family of four children, 2 boys and 2 girls and it was great! Also, as the younger girl, I got to take advantage of things my sister grew out of or simply didn't want!
