Due in Dec - thread 2

Well here it is and I think we all deserve a huge CONGRATULATIONS for making it onto the 2nd thread.

The last thread lasted us a month and a half so here to one thread down and 5 to go!!!

YIPPEE so excited!!!

I've also noticed the Due in Jan thread has 10 posts on it now so we are officially not the newbies anymore YEAH !!!!

Nothing very exciting to report from my end. Sore boobs, back to just nauseous rather than really feeling sick & thats about it!! I'm willing next Thursday on & praying for good news.

Becky - plans for the birth....already!!!!! Not a chance.

evening ladies sickness tablet worked fairly well today, tho worn off and I dont want to take anymore otday.........ninah, never mind your knickers; the only jeans that i can still fasten are in the washing machine as we speak, and I am about to go out and vote in a pair I cant do up!!! hope no-one notices....
scan in the morning, abit nervous now but suspect when i get there i will be REALLY nervous, shaking the lot, was last time its the memory of the 'bad' scan that make me like that.
becky- I'm with you on doing all the things i have not done before this 'last' pg. and plans for the birth , same as last birth i think, -no meds, least intervention poss and in the midwife unit rather than the labour ward worked for me before. oh and mass flowers/gifts for me/christmas dinner after too.......

I had a scan today & saw the heartbeat , it was such a relief! Still worrying a bit though as last time baby died between scan at 6 weeks & one at 9 weeks, got another booked for next week though so trying to stay positive.

Good luck with the scan tomorrow, hope all is well - Nemo, I suggest getting on the phone tomorrow and not getting off til you have appt to see mw/scan or whatever it is that would set your mind at ease. Someone mentioned phoning early pregnancy unit direct if no joy?

Big pains in my tummy last night (nearly made me cry!!). Think it is just my chronic constipation causing me pain - anyone else having these problems? Or anyone got any tips on what I can take for it?

Morning - well the insensative men in my office have spread their horrible cold germs and I am feeling utterly crap!!!! I'm hoping to be sent home once everyone else gets in the office as I'm all bunged up and can't take anything for it bloody men!!!!!

Had a bit of a run in with my midwife over the doppler the other day. I enquired to see if there was any risks involved with using the frequency ones.
She told me I would make my worrying worse by using it - if I couldn't find the heartbeat etc etc - and that I was at risk of becomming obsessed and neurotic!!!
Well she didn't actually say those exact words but thats what she implied.

So anyway, now I'm not sure wether to get one or not!?!?!?!

Good luck you guys for your scans. Try finding out whether the EPU in your areas have walk in days. At Kings College its a Monday, no appointment needed and they will see you! Its worth a try.

Was told that sickness is a good sign as it is caused by high levels of pg hormone. That doesn't mean to say that not having any sickness is bad, the girl in my office here hasn't had a single bit of sickness and is now around 13 weeks without any problems at all. It affects people differently, I've always had problems with high hormone levels so I was always going to be in for it.

Is anyone else feeling extreamly depressed? I'm sick of being sick and feeling the way I do, had loads of tears last night with hubby, have had enough and begining to think this was all a bad idea, which is a really bad thing to say as its all I've ever wanted. Woke up with a stye on my eye this morning, am generally feeling an utter wreck! Am Constantly tearful and tired of these rock hard boobs!!!

Sorry guys, have been trying to be happy. I feel really bad moaning when you guys have got all your scan worries on your minds. I feel I just want it to go away now ~ is this normal?

I dont think i would use one but i know if i was worried i would be kicking myself that i didnt. Well what i am trying to say is (pg brain working)get one if you want for peace of mind..
Hope you get to go home and rest up i would love that right now, not that i am busy or anything but bed is more on the menu for me..

lol about the pants, we all have a pair of them.. I seem to wear the more now as there bigger and more cosy.. better be no bus's planning to knock me down!!!

I know the yukkie feeling and it is not nice! Roll on the 12 weeks when we all feel better. Here i am sitting at work with greasy hair and my baggy jumper as everything eles shows my boobs! and i could not care less! and when i get home i will run stright for my pjs, and food...

havent phoned epu cos to be honest dont have the confidence to. If no luck on tues with midwife then i will get dh to phone. Havent been as bad with pains past couple of days but of course all that does is make u think the worst again..cant win..pmsl

DP got on my nerves yesterday, a smart coment came and i flew of the handle i went to bed.. Been like that for the last week..
