No SH I appreciate that it doesn't stop the worry - but I guess even weekly scans would leave you with 6 days of worry! At least you are being given regular scans, yes I find Nemos care shocking really.

Nemo, have you got any children yet?

ChaCha · 10/05/2005 11:09

Hope everything is well with Nemo.

Sweetheart, everything will hopefully be fine Just relax! How many weeks are you now?
Sorry to keep asking questions just being on another board makes it more difficult to keep up to date...soz

sweetheart · 10/05/2005 11:24

Becky - Nemo has an 18mth ds.

Cha cha - I am 10 weeks now. Lost last baby at 13 weeks but didn't find out until between 16 & 17 weeks so the next 7/8 weeks will be the toughest.

Hopefully once I'm through that I can relax!!!

hi all been to mw and luckily was one who had been ds so she was fab. She alreayd knew about 2mcs and when i told her about 3rd she said was disgusting gp had ignored my request. She phoned hospital and is waiting for them to get back to here but she said hopefully will have one this week. She has also booked me in to see her at 12wks..they usually wait until 16..lol Am so relieved and ended up feeling sorry for dh as we had a talk and he told me he was feeling really anxious too and didnt want to be alone where i was wanting to be alone iykwim...will post replies to toher posts later but we are just about to have a destressing bbq/..even tho itr ids freezing..thanks again ladies hugs

ninah · 10/05/2005 12:22

Hey Nemo, that's great
agree with others these anxieties are hard for men, they must feel so powerless to help
let us know how you get on!

dramaqueen72 · 10/05/2005 12:54

nemo, glad the midwife was lovely. thankgoodness! I think both you and dh should agree to understand BOTH of you are worried and stressed by this and will prob deal with it differently and therefore risk coming to blows over it. chilly BBQ sounds fab.
I have taken some ginger capsules today ladies and do feel somewhat better......could they be working? or what? this is a time of day i tend to feel alittle human anyhows....so we shall see. sharp tasting granny smith also helped me thro the morning. only threw up once and dry heaved once so far!
sweetheart, hope yor next scan rushes round soon, sounds like lots of reassurance via those extra scans, the odds so in you favour to be 100% fabulous this time. with my two missed m/c I got no reason. which is/isnt good depending on how I felt at that moment. my next scan is june 6th, and BOY does that feel like a AGE away. I cannot wait for may to GO! (and here we are on the tenth!)I just know i'm going to be sick all of it too.ugh......
george how are you doing now? two days to go? wow, betcha cant wait!
minnie I'm sorry about your m/s, it does tend to kick in wk 6 on most people. and because of hormones, PEAK at wk 10. ugh god, time they found a 'cure' and some respite for m/s sufferers instead of going 'hmm, lovely, sickness is a good sign' in an annoying dr-ly way

Nemo1977 · 10/05/2005 13:14

right ok will try again...we have a scan tommorow at 1.15pm..yayy but feel sick aswell..please send all the baby dust u have.BBQ was nice but very cold..lol

George hope everything goes well at ur scan

DQ glad capsules seem to be working. Glad u only chucked up once this morning..yayy

Minnie ms is nightmare isnt it..fingers crossed it means good stuff though.

SH Hope ur scan comes around quick and that u r able to relax after u get to 20 weeks ish. Saying that we should all be relaxing then...

Take care all

george32 · 10/05/2005 13:26

Nemo, that is brilliant news. I do hope that all goes well & it puts your mind at rest.
LOL at your BBQ in the cold
Glad you m/s has calmed down a bit DQ. I keep having spells of "urgh" and then it calms down. Haven't been sick yet though.
How are you getting on with your 1 pair of trousers DQ? I'm down to 3 pairs now!! I just keep getting bigger as I eat & non of it comes out. Don't want to buy anything else til I have at least had 1 good scan.

Booklover, big crongrats to you . I think some of us were a bit keen to find out and did our tests VERY early!!

sweetheart · 10/05/2005 13:42

I don't know - I go out for lunch and it all gets exciting!!!
Nemo that is absolutly bloody fantastic news that you have a scan tomorrow - thank god there is one medical professional in your area that actually has a clue how to deal with human beings!!!

I'm so pleased for you!!!

Btw, if you think you were nervous this morning - you wait till tomorrow. Still once you've seen your little bean beating away it will all be worth it and you'll feel so much better.

Nemo - best of luck for tomorrow!

Nemo1977 · 11/05/2005 07:08

morning ALL
hope ur well

Thanks for the good luck wishes..i feel sooo ill today but more anxiety than anything. Its weird with this scan as i feel it could go either way whereas last time i said to dh day b4 that the baby would be dead and it was. This time i really dont know but i think thats because of last time rather than the gut feeling iykwim. I just hope its all ok. Besides losing a baby i would miss u lot..and now i know hardly anyone on the ttc thread..lol
hope ur all having a lovely lie in..ds woke me at 6am..arghh and dh is going to work at 8. So i will probably be on and off a lot before we haveto leave.

MINNIE1 · 11/05/2005 08:23

Nemo1977,

scully · 11/05/2005 09:25

Well at 8+4 I'm feeling exhausted and nauseaus and feel like I'm eating constantly! So nothing major to report here
Having a look at the 2 hospitals I get to choose from, this Sunday and Monday and then once I've decided I can get organised with midwife and scan appts. But as one of the hospitals doesn't like you to tour before 9 wks, I've had to wait......

Nemo1977 · 11/05/2005 09:27

wonder why the hospital ake su wait till 9wks..hope u find one u like scully. Im 8+5 today so only day ahead..i was having a lot of nausea etc but it all stopped couple of days ago..although am still shattered and eating loads.

MINNIE1 · 11/05/2005 09:29
