Three new pictures on my profile from the last few minutes - they accurately represent the vast majority of my life at the moment

BabyBolat · 20/04/2009 13:42

BB, I get those evils too - you should've heard how upset he got when I was daring to load the washing machine earlier! I don't think he can cope without daddy's attention whilst I'm doing things.

I'm with you on the chocolate, too - all pregnancy I was a bit on & off with my love of chocolate (although Mini Eggs were always on!), but now... Cor.

bronze, really pleased that you managed to dodge the drip that you didn't want & that you got your physiological final stage - & what a lovely birthday present for your dad!

surprise, my bladder went totally crazy the night before I went into full blown labour. Is it that kind of crazy? [hopeful]

The babygro is one that my parents bought him - the other one in the same style is bright blue & says 'I'm the boss' I can't help but feel that they're mocking me for the years of trouble I caused them

& Nutty, I promised that I'd be with you here until the end!

Yes, he does an excellent line in scowls

He's currently chasing my wrist around with his mouth as I'm trying to type. Because it looks exactly like a boob, obviously.

SpringySponge · 20/04/2009 13:54

Haha, I expect it'll be thrown back in my face in a future tantrum

Kara is laying propped up on the sofa next to me hiccuping like a demon!

Oh Springy I am dreading the tantrums this one is going to throw - with his grumpy looks and the screaming tantrums (no tears just yelling), I know I am in for some terrible twos!!)

Nutty have you 100% decided on the name now? This time tomorrow your Lo will probably be in your arms... yay!!!

SpringySponge · 20/04/2009 14:00

One of the funniest things I've ever seen is his mad panic if he comes off the boob before he's ready - the insanely wide eyes & almost dislocated jaw, combined with the head thrashing & quick snuffling noises.

It's so difficult to resist taunting him with it every 30 seconds

PuzzleRocks · 20/04/2009 14:02

Hellooooooooo

CONGRATS STARYEYED AND REALLYTIRED
I'm looking forward to hearing more from both of you.

Brettgirl - Hannah is adorable. And so much
hair!

DH took Ellen to her class this morning and is now taking her to the dentist before doing some shopping and other errands. He has just told me how he is really beginning to appreciate how much I do and how well I do it. Poor man is running round like a blue-arsed fly but he's doing great.
I am amazed at how well Holly has just slotted into our lives. It's like she has always been here. I'm feeling very blessed ths morning.
Yesterday was a bit of a hormonal day, not helped but DH's dad's bitch of a wife saying "oh god, she's not ginger is she?", and calling DH a failure because he wasn't at the birth.

Fab pics BB.

BTW BB/Nuts, they let me drink tea once the drip was in so may depend on your hospital policy. I didn't ask about food so not sure.

SpringySponge · 20/04/2009 14:02

BB, isn't it so much cuter when they're not hiccoughing into your pelvis?

& George isn't even generally that loud, but he is very manipulative - he'll whine & whine next to us when we try to sleep, building into a cry. Which then stops as soon as DH gets out of bed. He doesn't even want to be held most of the time - he just wants to see if he can make DH do his bidding

Oh God Puzzle, really? What a cow! Your DH made the difficult decision to be there for DD1 at a time when she really needed him. It was hardly how either of you would have designed it. & big about the ginger comment, too. How unkind.

kara just likes attention - he hates being bored! if he is awake he must be entertained!! he also refuses to sleep if there is anything going on - cue whinging as he fights tiredness!!

springy have your parents been down?

hey puzzle - yay for the dh appreciation! at the woman - what did you say?

PuzzleRocks · 20/04/2009 14:10

Springy - That third pic is sooo cute.
Yup, the woman's a twat but generally I don't let her bother me because that would imply that I gave shit what she thought. Everyone except his Dad thinks she is an arse so we just laugh about her really.

Must get some pics up soon. DD calls Holly "squeaky mouse".

Nutty - Awesome name.

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 20/04/2009 14:12

i think i may have started something :/ or my bodys just giving up on me...

Been in garden since i posted on here this morning.. pressure washed back of garage, shifted rabbit hutch all way round to back garden from side of house...very heavy hutch! mowed lawns, emptied some pots containing nothing but weeds, and trimmed a lot of overgrown bushes...

am now in pain :/ labour maybe baby =D

springy and bb love hearing about your munchkins cant wait til i can join in! Nutty will be able to after tomorrow!

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 20/04/2009 14:13

puzzle - squeaky mouse thats adorable!! well done to your dh, bless him

PuzzleRocks · 20/04/2009 14:13

BB - On the hair I smiled and said "yes she is, it's very beautful!" We ignored the DH comment, she hates being ignored. His Dad seemed really embarrassed and kept being overly nice to me.

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 20/04/2009 14:18

right ive eaten a ham salad am going to venture back into the garden and continue nesting out there haha.. even scrubbed the rabbit hutch.. cos obviously thats going to make a big difference to the baby. if we accidently get him mixed up with the bunny

gorrrgeous weather here btw, like middle of summer weather! lovin it! bit too hot to be labouring though!

i have decided that the Molten brown pulse balm smells really nice when you put in on, but a few hours later smells like vomit. that's not really good.

beautiful here today. DS is outside on his beanbag chair (well, he's back in teh house every 3 seconds)

my MIL bought me an ipod shuffle she just got one from my useless BIL and loves it so thought she'd get me one too!
