BumpVLump - I'm the same, suddenly - it was almost after the diagnosis, and I'm doing 4am wakeups (but getting back to sleep afterwards) - thankfully just the once!
Oh, and thanks for the note about All-Bran - I tried that this morning, and my 2 hour reading was an average 5.5 - I've pretty much done that one all day - so touch wood, hopefully it wont make things worse... we'll see! I even had a small glass of juice this morning (they said I could, and it helped my vitamin tablet go down)... fingers crossed this will keep going this way!
I did have some dark chocolate covered ginger pieces I've had in my drawer at work, not many - maybe 6 or 7 pieces, but I just wanted to check if it affected my levels, so I'll know in a couple of hours... fingers crossed it doesn't.
You're right though, just thinking big baby does the trick for me too!
Well we just had a nice stir fry with basmati rice, and plenty of veg, and a bit of quorn, so let's see how that reading goes... god, it was tasty!
Re Fundal Height - I think I had mine done for the first time last week, although I was babbling away so much to my midwife I have no idea what it was, and god, her handwriting is SO difficult to read.
First Ante-natal class tomorrow (the NHS one), cor, it's all happening so quickly...
Oh, does anyone have any good cures for lower back pain? I'm fine lying down, I'm guessing it's down to how I'm sat at work, so made my screen higher - and I've been doing lots of swimming, which has helped a little bit, but oh, it comes back with a vengeance.
Also - has anyone else felt their baby kicking them from the back?! It's ODD. I was sat in the hospital on Tuesday, and all I could feel was random kicks against the chair. Weirdness....
