Purlease - Good luck tomorrow.

Springy - Ask him to remove it especially if there are plenty of others featuring George.

Another George photo on my profile, too - he's so stylish

& I don't look bad considering, but I'm hardly looking good either

Schulte · 13/04/2009 21:41

Nice cow outfit lil George Springy don't worry, I think you look great.

Good luck to everyone who's booked for an induction tomorrow!

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 13/04/2009 21:41

F**king hell Springy, if you ask me that is a pretty damn good post natal stomach. I wouldn't be worried about that at all. Anyone who has seen it will surely be thinking how bloody good you look. Perhaps that's why DH didn't think twice about posting, because he thinks you look beautiful.

Schulte · 13/04/2009 21:42

PS is it so George can join in the mooing to support the labouring women?

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 13/04/2009 21:43

Springy that is the curtest lil cow-boy i have ever seen!!!!

Nuts - Gizza kiss.

SpringySponge · 13/04/2009 21:44

It could be worse... It could be a photo of me tonight with my leaky boobs & sick-stained dressing gown. Phwoar.

& I do that too, Nutty - we're too affectionate for our own good

Yes, Puzzle. But you're forgetting the type of people on his Facebook. They don't tend to be reasonable or familiar with childbearing. He's taken it off now anyway. Wise move

& yes - George is very supportive. & has mini pompoms to shake for you all

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 13/04/2009 21:47

Springy - bet you still look lush!!

I'm actually amazed at how much my other boob leaks whilst I'm feeding. To think I was worried about milk supply before he arrived...

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 13/04/2009 21:49

purlease - I think it can still be the next day, but won't be long. Depends what time you are induced too obviously.

I have been having very light contractions - possibly just BH all day. Nothing any where near strong enough to even mention to anybody in RL. TINY bit more fluid leaking but not a lot at all. Not even enough to warrant a pad - although I have changed my underwear once or twice more often than usual - mianly just for comfort though, not because they are too wet.

Looked round a huge car boot today. Saw some lovely newborn bits but I resisted the urge to buy them which i s good because I have LOADS from DD, most in as new condition and have a big box of stuff still with tags!

I didn't go to bed till 4am last night as just before I went to go up, DD woke up and wouldn't settle. Stuck to my guns again like the other night and sat with her and wouldn't let her out of bed. had a few tears etc but it worked and she was not at any point distressed like she is if she is left. Didn't expect it to take that long though! . She also went through about 4 bottles of milk through the night. She is dribbling a lot during the day so might be teething but is perfectlly happy and has no other signs. Was very tempted to give her calpol before bed tonight to help her sleep but didn't want to start doing it for the sake of it really.

Does pineapple juice have the same benefits induction wise as fresh pineapple? Just thinking that juice woul dbe a lot easier than eating rediculous amounts of the fruit? I can get through juice without even noticeing it so could potentially drink a hell of a lot of the stuff if I had that as my main drink throughout the day.

Thanks for reminding me of the post birth problems! Lol. I remember being in tears on the loo (even for wee) for about 2 weeks last time. I had an AWFUL cough which meant agony down there everytime I coughed. I also fully wet myself (while not even at home!!!!) a few days after the birth. Something went wrong though as I had huge clumps of blood with it and there was so much liquid it was like a weeks worth of wee! .

Baby not really moving? Although only just noticed! I will see if she moves around when I massage my essential oils on there tonight before bed - that usually sets her off!

Has anybody on here used caster oil? My understanding is that it isn't really very safe? And can be painful and give you bad d+v? But a friend of mine seriously recommends it and used it to give birth on due date for all 3 of hers!

Anybody recomend anything other than walking for getting baby to engage? My hospital won't do a sweep or anything if baby isn't engaged. Bit paranoid about cord prolapse too. I know it is unlikly but I was born with the cord round my neck and spent my fist days in SCU so I guess that is why I am worried.

Sorry for super long post!

soon2befamilyof4 · 13/04/2009 22:02

Springy - the main though that I had when I looked at that picture was:
" mege at the fact you have no stretch marks on your belly!"
I honestly feel like a tiger the amount of stretch marks I have!!

PuzzleRocks · 13/04/2009 22:10

Soon2be - I wouldn't touch castor oil. It doesn't always work and you will most likely have bad diarrhoea and run the risk of being seriously dehydrated.

PuzzleRocks · 13/04/2009 22:12

castor oil risk

PuzzleRocks · 13/04/2009 22:14

BTW I texted Lulu earlier. No baby yet, but she will try and get online in the next couple of days.
