I just got a little bit excited I just managed to do up my pre-pregnancy jeans - granted they are a wee bit tight and they are my biggest non-maternity pair and I would have no hope getting the other ones even over my thighs! but I did them up!!! AND they have just come out the wash as well!!

Kitty tis right by my side!!

BabyBunnyBolat · 15/04/2009 11:04

I am mainly excited to be out of my jogging bottoms!!!!

Juwesm · 15/04/2009 11:06

BoffinMum · 15/04/2009 11:33

Nutty, I nearly fainted with joy when I heard what your consultant had said. I am so pleased for you!!

Just to report, so you know what to look forward to, my SPD was a lot better immediately afterwards, then got a little sore after the first chiropractic session (which she said would happen), and then got a bit better again. Yesterday I had a tentative walk around the supermarket using a small trolley as a kind of zimmer frame, but tbh I would have just about managed without one. I sat in the coffee shop whilst DH picked up a few bits of shopping for us, and I have to say that I didn't feel too much worse than a normal postnatal person a day or two after the birth - it was more a puffy fanjo area than the hips that were the problem.

In relation to chiro, we had an interesting experience with Felix there yesterday too. I got my chiro to check him over, and he ws in good shape apparently, apart from the tiniest bit of tension in the back of his neck. And I mean tiny because she said she was really hard pressed to find anything wrong with him at all. She treated it very gently, and there was an immediate improvement in his feeds and quality of sleep, which has made him much happier - prior to this he had been bobbing his head around a lot trying to latch on, and being a bit too lazy to feed properly most of the time. I was impressed, anyway.

BoffinMum · 15/04/2009 11:36

BB could you please stop boasting about pre-pregnancy clothes because some of us don't even fit back into our maternity clothes yet.

BabyBunnyBolat · 15/04/2009 11:39

sorry boff - if it's any consolation i have had to undo the top button as they are a bit too tight still! yay for spd and chiro!!!

BoffinMum · 15/04/2009 11:53

BB, the top button?? THE TOP BUTTON???

Kitty, painting the downstairs loo did it for me, as did a sweep from the mw.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 15/04/2009 11:53

CONGRATULATIONS JUW!!!! and welcome babyJuw cant wait for the epic!!!! xx

purplemonkeydishwasher · 15/04/2009 12:26

oh god. don't you HATE it when things fall on the floor? i can't really bend over anymore. actually that's where a 3yo comes in handy... want me to send him round? (what was it doing on Jerry Springer in the first place? hmmm??? )

surprisenumber3 · 15/04/2009 12:27

OMG I'm knackered. Have vacuumed, dusted, mopped, cleaned stairs, bathroom and all the rooms except my bedroom. And do I have a twinge? No, nothing!! I can hardly breathe and have swollen hands but nothing happening in the uterus department! Baby V.V.V quiet the last couple of days. Still get all the hiccups and thuds but no big movements...please tell me this is normal!

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 15/04/2009 12:30

surprise put living +1 on, bita jerry might sort you out =p

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 15/04/2009 12:30

Suprise - it is there's just not enough room as long as you get 10 movements throughout the day (or an really active moment) then its all fine

OP posts:
surprisenumber3 · 15/04/2009 12:33

Lauren - got to go and pick DS1 up now although I haven't driven for a few days so I am banking on being able to fit behind the steering wheel. Was a bit difficult last time!! Then my friend is coming over but just noticed we have no milk left so need to pop to shops too...grrr...thought I'd got away with that as DH offered to go tonight.

Nutty - I am getting more than 10 small movements and she does have a big active burst where i have to push limbs back in! But she's always been so active and I keep panicking that she's too stil.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 15/04/2009 12:33

Lauren - i love ANTM i watch it on you tube now though as i'm a series ahead

hello april mums - i'm 38+2 today and just had a depressing visit to the GP. Baby's head isn't engaged yet and GP is getting twitchy - if not engaged by next wednesday (my next appointment) I've got to go and get checked out at the hospital to make sure baby can fit through my pelvis?! surely i wouldn't grow a baby that won't fit through my pelvis? anyone got any experience of head engaging a bit later on? this is my first baby. really really don't want to go overdue and be induced feeling a bit glum today really...

...AND i've got itchy rash all over arms and had to go and have a blood test to check its not my liver?!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I need chocolate
