by that point i didnt really care and even had a little to myself while doing my sample

eurggh 1:37 in thre morning im still here, last nights drama has completely conked out my body clock! cant stop weeing, going loo every 10 minutes! this may be tmi but ive got a pad on and its getting quite damp, im either weeing, which i doubt because im weeing properly on the toilet lol fully in control of that.. orr its the waters trickling, which i also doubt because this babies never coming out..

Nutty - glad the consultant listened - an odd tear here and there definitely seems to help make a point where men are concerned - but as you say, watching you walk would have been enough to convince them.

dh went through and slept in ds's room last night as he kept waking himself up itching - shame for poor ds but it was nice to have an uninterrupted sleep (at least from ds - am not counting the loo trips or discomfort waking)

Soon2be - Amniotic fluid can sometimes smell slightly like semen. Very lax of your midwife to dismiss it out of hand.
I'm not sure what the policy would be in your area. I am going to ring up this afternoon and see what thy say as I still have a small but constant trickle.

That's really good news Nutty, finally you have an end in sight. Only 6 more sleeps!

Had MW appointment yesterday, had sweep and also now have induction date (26th) so one way or not this baby will be coming out in the next week and a half. Apparently my cervix is soft and starting to dilate and MW thought it was unlikely I would go that long anyway [hopeful] [hopeful] [hopeful]. 11 sleeps at the most.....

The thing is that I'm following the same pattern every day - pain/tightenings developing during the day (the more I do the worse they are) but they completely disappear over night . I had quite a few sharper pains after sweep but again they have gone off over night - grrrrrr!!!!! I've also had 'bits' of show but not enough for it to be the whole thing IFYSWIM.

My plan is to make sure that I do as much as I possibly can during the day! Maybe I should also go for a walk round the block at 3am every night?

I bet Ju's got her baby by now!

puzzle - i think its since yesterday after i had them contractions that stopped when i got to hospital lol!! My baby is a cheeky monkey that likes driving me mad already!

brettgirl - i am so fed up of false alarms i will not believe it until i hear dp say he can see a head!! your right though i am massively impatient!!!

Lauren - Have you mentioned it to anyone. I ask because it's been a little over 24 hours for me and i'm not sure whether to ring up or not.

Not really, just a slim panty liner every couple of hours.

mines same, last time i went in with concerns about damp pad they said it was just discharge but this is clear [last time had a creamy tinge] and very watery, i really dont know puzzle what should we dooo..?

might be tmi but feel very wet down there to touch too...

Morning. What a grey day. Think I'll get DD to help me clear our my wardrobe today - am so sick of maternity clothes and my jeans are so torn from all the wearing, I think I might stay in the same outfit from now until I give birth - as in dirty track suit bottoms and a t-shirt

No more contractions here, false or real. Maybe I should start thinking about making a 41 week appointment after all - so far I haven't...

yay for induction date! (but a little and as that puts me second to the bottom on the list....

DS wasn't sick again yesterday (thank god!) but he wasn't himslef. he fell asleep a little after 3. i thought ok he didn't sleep well the night before give him a little....he didn't wake up until after SEVEN. (i know, i should have woken him up but i was kind of hoping that he'd just sleep right through..ha ha..)

he fell asleep again at about 11 so i guess it could have been worse. and he was back to his old slef when he woke at 7.

just need to decide what to do today. i think i need to get out of the house, but my feet are still swollen and are really annoying and a bit sore. (nothing else is puffy, just the tops of my feet. i look weird.

puzzle and rachel - sounds like things could be moving forward!

Juw has had her baby. But I have no details and I think she would prefer to tell you all about it herself. Yay!
