hey you've given me an idea now - I should go on the seesaw with DH. We both weighed ourselves today and we weight EXACTLY the same

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 08/04/2009 20:44

MM - well done for being able to get on a see saw!!! impressive!!! yay for being able to eat too

weigh

PuzzleRocks · 08/04/2009 20:45

They checked it with DD because I had my smear at the same time. She didn't say so, but I could tell she was taken aback by it's breath taking and somewhat haunting beauty.

PuzzleRocks · 08/04/2009 20:48

Surprise - How much have you put on if you don't mind me asking? I weighed myself today and I have gained 3 stones with two weeks left to go.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 08/04/2009 20:48

was there a look of awe and wonderment on her face Puzzle

mathshoneybunny27 · 08/04/2009 20:49

puzzle now you've taken it too far...

the other parents at the park were a bit

bronze · 08/04/2009 20:50

Puzzle just because there was an echo doesnt mean it was haunting

thebluefoxategreensocks · 08/04/2009 20:50

Still nothing happening here! Went to a large shopping centre to do some walking this afternoon (since it was too wet/cold to be outside) - walking for about 3+ hours but even that didn't seem to set off any contractions. Anyone else feeling fed up, or just me? lol

surprisenumber3 · 08/04/2009 20:50

I have put on 1 stone 3 lb but weighed a stone heavier than I usually do when I fell pregnant anyway.

surprisenumber3 · 08/04/2009 20:51

I put on a stone more than this with the DS's though but I started a stone lighter so have ended up about the same

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 08/04/2009 20:51

LOL echo !!!

Ha ha!!! Found them!
Have had 2

bronze · 08/04/2009 20:53

I had put on 10kg last time I weighed in march. I'm tall though and was thin to start with so am not worried. I still look bump with no much fat just a bit of some love handles on my back.

mathshoneybunny27 · 08/04/2009 20:54

have a look for mine will you chicka? I found one solitary one at the back of a cupboard about ten mins ago...

surprisenumber3 · 08/04/2009 20:54

brill chicka, where did you find them? Mine have been missing since Saturday night.

PuzzleRocks · 08/04/2009 20:55

Ouch bronze. I'll have you know they need to use a mini speculum with me. Don't make me bloody prove it on my profile.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 08/04/2009 20:55

hello! i'm back! DS asleep! YAY!!

trista - that's awesome that your lovely birth is still on!!

BB - congratulations on the poo!

the one nice thing (!!) about having a tear was that they gave me laculose so that my poos would be nice and soft for the first week. i was terrified when i ran out and had to do a real one!! (oh and my first one post-birth...i shat myself. very glad i was wearing one of those big maternity pads!!!!!!)

right so...we went to the cinema... DS is afraid of loud noises. i don't know why. he always has been. lately it's been getting worse and he hides for the THX bit of star wars and stuff. so we go in and sit down. he's fine. then the ads start, suddenly he HAS TO GO PEE!! so we run out (in as much as i can run) and go to the toilet. he pees, we go back. he hesitates at the door but goes in. we go sit down. 2 minutes later...HE HAS TO GO POO!! so down we go back to the toilet...nothing. hesitates more at the door this time. so i pick him up (stupid, i know) and we go back to our seats.
he then spends the rest of the ads and all the previews on the floor hiding behind the seat in front. occassionally beconning for another M&M.
movie starts and he evenutally sits down, though still hides form time to time and whenever there's a fight scene he pretends to blast the bad guys or does Wii boxing.
when the movie ended he practically RAN out of there.
still, he says he enjoyed it. (thank god he;s 3 and they didn't make me pay for him!!)

so then we were leaving and Dh phones because the HR department at this work need my MatB1 form. i don't have one, they never gave me one and since i'm a SAHM i never bothered to look into it. i tell him that i have a MW appt next week and i'll get one. he says no we need it now can i phone the MW. at this point i'm getting rather annoyed because a) i'm walking through the carpark at the cinema and b) he's known about this baby for 7 and half months and suddenly NOW it's urgent and I have to deal with it??
grrrrr

so walked home (mistake, my ankles are swollen now) and phoned the MW. she said i can get one from my GP. so have an appt for tomorrow afternoon. which isn't the worst thing since i do need more cocodemol and i think i have thrush. BUT STILL!!!!!

sorry that was a bit long. just needed to rant!!!!

chickaleggjac · 08/04/2009 20:55

Try the bathroom sink, MM. That's where I found a few of mine. I must stand at it funny or something!

Fab Trista, may they keep coming.

bronze · 08/04/2009 20:58

why do they need your matb1? If you were at work you would have handed it over by now anyway...
