WFH - yay for your dh prezzie shopping!!

sorry LuLu xx

JuwEggsm · 08/04/2009 12:03

FreshEgg, I do believe I would, in girl mode or boy mode! Though in boy mode he is letting himself slip a bit. Walking in heels must help keep him trim!

LuLuBai · 08/04/2009 12:04

To make matters even more confusing everyone has name changed.

Think I'll go and make some lunch and come back later to see if I can make more sense of it all.

And WFH - could your DH have a word in my DHs ear please. It's my birthday in about 3 weeks or so and I'm worried he's heading for a hat trick (having forgotten Valentine's Day and Mother's Day so far this year).

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 08/04/2009 12:05

ReallyTired - ooohhh keep an eye on it

JuwEggsm · 08/04/2009 12:07

Lulu - come join the Easter name changing! Although SpringySponge is not Easter-related! The other thread makes pretty much until the bunnies appear en masse - after that, it's best to switch!

JuwEggsm · 08/04/2009 12:09

Nutty - have only just noticed the plug thieves who come in the night! Great minds!

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 08/04/2009 12:10

i thought you got that ages ago!!! hence the izzard isms

OP posts:
Kalikaroo · 08/04/2009 12:10

Know what your mean Reallytired - I also feel a bit damp round the 'undercarriage' area . Think it might just be increased mucusy stuff, but maybe some waters?? (Maybe wishful thinking!)

Mmmmmmm - Fazer eggs!! They're lovely, but I reckon creme eggs have the upper hand! How do you eat yours?????

The sun is out today but I've been banned from going further than the local shop (2 streets away) by DH . Every time I moan about being overdue he seems quite happy because he says he doesn't feel ready for the baby to arrive yet! . I told him that he's never going to feel 'ready' until it actually arrives, so to stop giving the baby 'overdue' vibes all the time!!

I suggested some labour-inducing sex, but he said no way...

My mum suggested a good dose of castor oil (that's what got her going apparently after being 10 days overdue). She swears that it didn't give her the runs, but I don't believe her!

JuwEggsm · 08/04/2009 12:11

Kitty! Over here with the shakes!!

JuwEggsm · 08/04/2009 12:12

No, the Izzard-isms started with the bunnies who looked like bees, I hadn't realised!!!

JuwEggsm · 08/04/2009 12:13

I like to stick my tongue in and scoop out all the fondant!

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 08/04/2009 12:14

bite off the top and lick it out

ooohohhhhh sounds so rude

i was talking about creme eggs BTW!! yes! i was!!

JuwEggsm · 08/04/2009 12:16

Nibble the tip, and then suck until the goodness comes out????

JuwEggsm · 08/04/2009 12:16

Oh dear, I think I need a lie down.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 08/04/2009 12:17

indeed tis the only way

Hi ladies
Haven't been on for a while as been busy preparing for baby!

3 days away from EDD - as changed from 13th to 11th!

CONGRATULATIONS to all the ladies who have had their babies! BabyBolat! COngrats sweety!

TO everyone else...well we are almost there! Even if we go overdue...it is almost over!

Good luck everyone!

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 08/04/2009 12:19

am going to grab a bath methinks, see you in a bit

Carameli · 08/04/2009 12:19

creme eggs lovely, have to scoop out the middle first though.
The Fazer eggs never lasted long enough to be painted with me Wish they did them over here then I would be completely happy. Woolworths used to sell Fazer mints.

Bleuravin · 08/04/2009 12:19

hi everyone. I feel bad about not checking in properly and catching up... I see there's lots of new babies Congrats! I'm hoping to have more time on my hands as we sort out the feeding more.
Thanks for the ideas last night to help with engorgement....one breast much better...the other just seems to stay constant and the nipple has gne so wide and huge with expressing/engorgement that Meg can only just her mouth aound it... I'm hoping to express a little more from this breast throughout the day though and hopefully we'll get it right by tomorrow.
thinking of all you lovely ladies and hoping you're well!

LuLuBunny · 08/04/2009 12:30

Boing Boing

LuLuBunny · 08/04/2009 12:35

Bleu

Whopping Dolly Partons is normal in the days post-birth. Try and get Meg to feed on the engorged breasts to disengorge a bit.

Personally would try not to express too much as will tell your boobs to generate even more milk, but I may be wrong there.

I found 'What to Expect When You are Breastfeeding' helpful for trouble shooting in early bf days. It does settle down and get easier as you and baby get used to it and your body regulates to babies needs etc.

Kalikaroo · 08/04/2009 12:35

Oh, I really fancy a bath!! We only have a shower because our 'bath'room is too small for a bath!

Think I'll go and have a shower - is anyone else really struggling to maintain normal levels of grooming?? It's a miracle when I actually brush my hair these days.... The only time I seem to bother to change out of my jammies and stick a bit of make-up on is if I'm going to see the midwife!

LuLuBunny · 08/04/2009 12:36

baby's not babies

LuLuBunny · 08/04/2009 12:39

Kalikaroo - all I can say is Lucky Midwife. Mine gets hygiene but certainly not glamour from me.

We haven't hung any mirrors in our house yet and I only realised yesterday (when peering at myself in the car rear-view) that I hadn't brushed my hair for two or three days.

JuwEggsm · 08/04/2009 12:43

Good name Lulu!

Now, this 'brushing of the hair' of which you speak - nope, doesn't ring any bells with me!

I estimate that in the last 2 weeks or so I have been:

Properly dressed, enough to leave the house, 10% of the time
Dressed enough to at least answer the door to the postie, i.e. PJs or similar, maybe 50%
In comfy dressing gown with holes in it, or less, remaining 40%!
