Mc Chicken sandwich or a quater pounder with cheese? cant decide?

soon2befamilyof4 · 10/04/2009 23:19

I am now having a tantrum because I got so excited about McDonalds - DH didn't egt my message so didnt get it on the way home, so he went back (it is only at the end of the road) and he got there at 11.05 - bloody thing shut at 11!!!! Honestly I know I am being ridiculous but I wanted to cry when he told me! The annoying thing is, I would have made myself dinner an hour or so ago when I finished with DD. But didn't because I was going to wait for him. I know I am just being a brat though! Lol.

chickaleggjac · 10/04/2009 23:38

woohoo come on springy! go girl!
She's doing brilliantly.

Hey guess what, my mum found me a tens machine today in a charity shop for £2!!!!
Ha! She's a legend

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 10/04/2009 23:42

Chicka - £2 for a TENS blimey BARGAIN!!!! well done to your mum!!

chickaleggjac · 10/04/2009 23:43

I know! Isn't it fantastic. I'll use it at home and in the car on way to hosp. I used one with DS it was great.

chickaleggjac · 10/04/2009 23:48

Isn't it crazy. Poor springy has had such a rough time with these contractions to the point where when she actually is in labour, she manages to spend the majority of it not caring/believing. What a trooper you are springy! xxx

soon2befamilyof4 · 10/04/2009 23:55

I got mine for a similar price at a car boots. Works great for back pain too.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 10/04/2009 23:56

Chicka - i know bless her so glad that this is it for her!!

chickaleggjac · 11/04/2009 00:05

Me too, it's about time!!

bronze · 11/04/2009 00:07

No more news then?

This baby is worrying me. He's always been active and no he just dosn't move unless I really poke hard and then its just to move away. Will see how things go tonight.

I'm off to bed and look forward to hearing Ssringys news in the morning. I'm guessing George is a due date baby then

chickaleggjac · 11/04/2009 00:09

bronze it could be that you're close to going into labour?
If you're still worried later/in the morning, please get advice. Goodnight xxx

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 11/04/2009 00:14

Bronze - looks like it Good luck tonight, go for a check in the morning if you're still worried xx Night Night

I am a bit worried about my baby's position. A couple of weeks ago the MW thought she was breech so I had a scan but all ok and head down. But she was still moving about loads (and really big, painful movements which seem to be slowing down now). Now all the kicks etc are down low, rather than up by my ribs. Surely if baby was head down I wouldn't get movements down there? I don't really know though. She hasn't engaged either so wondering is she has turned round again and is breech again? I hope not as I don't want a section!

chickaleggjac · 11/04/2009 00:25

could low down movement be her hands? I know mine wriggles about low down and is engaged so must be hands. I also get kicked in the ribs though.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 11/04/2009 00:32

Soon2Be - i'm the same as chicka quite a bit of movement in the fanjo area not so violent as the rib kicking so i guess its the hands, mine is head down too, could possibly be the head engaging and disengaging too

LaurenTheFertilisedEasterEgg61 · 11/04/2009 00:36

heyyy guys just checking for new babies before i go to bed hope everything goes okay for springy, bless her!!

soon2be - i get lots of movement really low, its usually because he's break dancing and spinning on his head so the shoulders dig in and elbows too

get MW to have a good feel if you worried she will say how far engaged or not

uneventful in the womb of lauren today just tightenings and little shooting pains, i will not belive im in labour til i see a head at this rate

hope everyone okay, not long now and we'll all have our littles ones

night night xx

chickaleggjac · 11/04/2009 00:40

goodnight lauren x

chickaleggjac · 11/04/2009 00:44

nutty is springy likely to text you again tonight or will she think it's too late?
I'm so excited!!!

soon2befamilyof4 · 11/04/2009 00:46

Thanks, nice to know it is fairly normal. My next appointment isn't till 22nd - my due date so might not see anybody till baby is born.

Can anybody tell me if I am too late for the Health in pregnancy grant? My midwife fobbed me off with a load of crap and its only since reading stuff on here the last few days that I have actually found out about it properly.

chickaleggjac · 11/04/2009 00:53

try here soon2be
