Howdy y'all.

Nope, not off birthing, just in a bit of a non-chatty strop today. Worrying that I'm going to hit 42 weeks and not know whether to go for induction because of risks of going further post-term, or whether to stand my ground and hold off. However, still plenty of days left in which to get going naturally, so I shouldn't get worked up about it!

Hope everything is going well with Boff.

I don't know why I'm bothering anyway - nothing ever happens. It just hurts & I lose sleep & then no baby. Grrrrrr.

At least we have more babies on the way to distract the rest of us from our lack of babies! I'm so excited for those of you who're getting close!

Congratulations to BB and Bleu!

We named Baby Kesson today: Eleanor (God is my Light). Spent ALOT of time talking and praying about the right name. Both felt that she was an Eleanor after a few days of getting to know her and love the meaning + she was born on the loveliest sunny spring day; really appreciated the light streaming in through window when I was in labour.

Right will check in when things settle a little - milk came in this morning so am fighting engorgement! Hope your doing ok Bleu.

Well, due date has come and gone. No sign of this baby popping out anytime soon. Have done the curry thing and started on the pineapple as well. Next thing is to see if DH and I can find the energy to have sex.

I'm anxious that it will wait till next weekend as we don't have plan for DD after Friday - everyone appears t be away for Easter.

DH suggested today that he asks MIL to come on Friday but I would rather go throgh birth on my own than have her in the house. She had offered to come and stay a few weeks ago but then when we asked her about her plans, she had already gone off to stay with her partner and said we should have given her more warning. DD hardly knows her anyway as she doesn't really make much effort with family - she hasn't spoken to SIL in 2 years.

So any other thughts on encouraging this baby to cme out in the next 5 days would be welcome

dont worry springy - it will happen. not long till your due date now, and more do go over dates than under, so you will have your lo soon .

exciting stuff to have three on the go at once - will need to go to bed soon but hope you all have straightforward labours, and are cuddled up with your los very soon.

purlease - we have the same problem next weekend - everyone we have asked to be on call for ds is away - but not due till the week after so hopefully wont be a problem.

we had curry tonight - have tried the dh method a few times in the last few days - am strangely in the mood just now after being not really up for it for weeks. maybe its a hormone thing.

anyway time for bed - ds still not sleeping all that well so might as well get some sleep while i can.
