Purple ((hugs)) for the pain why has this weekend been so bad xx

OP posts:
purplemonkeydishwasher · 05/04/2009 20:27

oh DH has been working pretty much around the clock since thursday night. he's barely slept. i've had DS to entertain the whole time and he's being 'challenging'.

how are you doing nutty? only a couple more days until we're officially full term!! and i saw that you had a bit of a show!

don't you think it seems even longer because everyone else is popping ar already overdue??

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 05/04/2009 20:33

oh no, one of those weekends, poor you xx

I Know!!! how exciting but kinda crazy as well to be full term, i never thought i would make it this far tbh I think watching everyone pop is quite uplifting but it does make it seem like there's a long way to go still!! i just want this pregnancy malarky over with!! i keep looking at the calendar wishing my life away

OP posts:
purplemonkeydishwasher · 05/04/2009 20:39

i just keeping telling myself..at the MOST there's only 5 weeks to go!!! then i get all panicky because of everything we still need to do!

are you all prepared?

and can i ask...you know this whole shitty SPD thing... are you managing to keep your house clean? i'm just not. it's so frustrating! i want everything to be neat and tidy and perfect when the new baby arrives but it's just not going to happen. (i'm not very good at keepiong house at the best of times TBH, but it is getting ridiculous!)

purplemonkeydishwasher · 05/04/2009 20:39

and where is everybody? are they all out there selfishly having their babies??

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 05/04/2009 20:52

i've been prepared for ages (far too long really) it's a bit like torture knowing you're all set and ready to go, i would rather have stuff left to do i think.

House cleaning i have had to ignore totally (i'm a bit of a caged animal, like having an itch you cant scratch!!) DH i must admit has been a superstar and kept on top of things really well and does everything that i have asked him to do (in his own time and own way of course but he's still done it, bless him). for bag packing and clothes sorting etc hes brought it into the lounge for me so i have things to hand and he's been a gem at finding things to keep me occupied the house is far from how i would like it to be but its the best that it can be given the situation when the baby comes and hopefully the SPD etc goes we can get it all up together, try not to panic too much, and try to accept to some small degree that it wont be perfect, babies just want their mummy love, food and sleep after all

I know, Juw & MM havent been on today which is suprising, i wonder if their sneakily having their babies?? far too quiet!!

OP posts:
purplemonkeydishwasher · 05/04/2009 20:56

well, i'm glad it's not just me then! DH tries, bless him but it just doesn't bother him that much.

right, i'm off to bed. hopefully there will be some baby news in the morning!!!

night night!!
xx

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 05/04/2009 20:57

Night Night Purple xx hope you manage to get some sleep and that tommorow is better for you

OP posts:
Schulte · 05/04/2009 21:01

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 05/04/2009 21:05

Thanks Ginger xx

Boff - i just want you to know that i'm incredibly proud, pleased (sligtly nervous, sorry ) for you and elated that your in labour and that this is the end of the road so to speak, you made it!!! its is the last thing you need to do before you can tell the SPD to "Fuck Off" bigstyle!!! how amazing that you are so nearly there!! in one way this labour and birth for you will be so incredibly liberating even with the pain, hold on to that if the pain gets a bit too much (i hope its doesn't and that this all goes quickly and smoothly for you xx) !! xx

sorry for the emotional outburst LOL, i dont know weather its awe or what or me just being a strange preggy bird LOL xx
