right...I am now officially fed up (doesn't happen that often)

Tummy ache ... when I eat, when I don't eat, when I lie down, when I stand up...

Have dispatched DH for Gaviscon, Actimel..any other ideas??!!

surprisenumber3 · 07/04/2009 17:57

Thanks Kitty, I will definitely mention it to GP again, it just plays on my mind a bit.

And Hotmilk nursing bras.....off to google them!

MM - that sounds really uncomfortable, did the hospital mention what it could be?

mathshoneybunny27 · 07/04/2009 17:59

nope, MW just said it's common to have tummy issues before/in labour. I can cope with most things but being hungry and ot being able to eat hits all my buttons!

surprisenumber3 · 07/04/2009 18:01

I wouldn't like not being able to eat either. Hope the Gaviscon helps.

mathshoneybunny27 · 07/04/2009 18:06

Come on Boff waiting for the epic tale

I'm of you all snuggled up with Felix...

surprisenumber3 · 07/04/2009 18:10

ooh nice bras kitty, like the cherry bomb!

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 07/04/2009 18:20

Hello hello fellow sufferers,

So period pains and achey backs & tummies all round then? It sucks now, doesn't it. Even I am starting to feel fed up now but it's mainly because I can't sleep, and am still keeping DD away from other children because of the CP epidemic around here.

Phoned my friend today who has an 8 week old and she reminded me that however bad I feel now, it's only going to get worse.... thanks, that helps

MM hope the sweep gets things going for you, poor you not being able to eat, can you drink at least?

SpringySponge · 07/04/2009 18:47

MM, it must've been lovely having your cervix complimented like that Sorry that you're feeling rough, though

Kitty, I've not worn a bra in weeks because I grew out of my maternity bras & couldn't justify them for the short time before needing nursing bras. I've been wearing bump bands instead. It's all glamour.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 07/04/2009 18:55

Springy - Bump band boob tubes!!! genuius!!

SpringySponge · 07/04/2009 19:13

Yeah, I'm some sort of style icon

PuzzleRocks · 07/04/2009 19:19

Hello all

Why do I feel like she is trying to claw her way out with fingernails like Freddy Krueger? Ouch.

Ju and Maths - I'm keeping my fngers crossed for you both.

Purple - That feeding tent is creepy.
And gaudy.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 07/04/2009 19:21

Yep indeed you are .......though Twiggy has been used as an icon name ......how about Preggy??

OP posts:
Northernlurker · 07/04/2009 19:21

Just looking in to see you have had lots of birthing action! Congratulations to all delivered and encouraging words to all those still waiting!

Am rather worried that WFH was so taken with Orbit Buttonhole - is she still using that or has she given the poor lamb a 'proper' name?

PuzzleRocks · 07/04/2009 19:22

Right now I feel like Trunky.

PuzzleRocks · 07/04/2009 19:23

NL - Don't knock Orbit, I may yet steal it for my child. DH prefers Platypus though.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 07/04/2009 19:24

Northern - Orbit has stuck now he will never be known as any other name lol

OP posts:
SpringySponge · 07/04/2009 19:25

Haha, 'Preggy' 'Wibbly', 'Lumpy', 'Hideouslydeformedy' would also do

Puzzle, mine feels like he's trying to prise my cervix open with his hands

& NL, she's still calling him Orbit Buttonhole

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 07/04/2009 19:26

Puzzle - how about Plato Orbit Rocks?? (pocoyo )

OP posts:
SpringySponge · 07/04/2009 19:26

I think 'Orbitypus' has a nice ring to it.

PuzzleRocks · 07/04/2009 19:27

Sounds like a musician. I like.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 07/04/2009 19:27

'Hideouslydeformedy'

OP posts:
NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 07/04/2009 19:28

oooohhh Orbitypus is fab!!

OP posts:
PuzzleRocks · 07/04/2009 19:29
