Pants to WFH for her tasty steak and wine...

I want wine tooooooooo!!! Soon, Kittycat, soon...

mathshoneybunny27 · 04/04/2009 20:44

Boff, I believe the naked/chained one is mine, yours is merely stoned and can't remember his own name. And they sent me a postcard this morning saying 'ner ner ner ner ner'

BoeuffinMum · 04/04/2009 20:46

Yup, mine is definitely stoned. The hash brownies will make a nice change for him from the opiates.

brettgirl2 · 04/04/2009 20:47

Well, hopefully both babies will be back soon.....

FWIW I'm convinced that I'm going to go over, LO just seems too happy in there still.

What did make me laugh though is that I bumped into an acquaintance in Focus this afternoon and I bemoaned that it could still be three weeks (due a week tomorrow). She said 'well it doesn't matter does it?' I was like . She's never had a baby btw!

The show may mean something, because surely once you've had two shows it must be all gone?

mathshoneybunny27 · 04/04/2009 20:48

should we join them do you think or will we cramp their style?

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 04/04/2009 20:53

Ha ha ha... hash brownies... maybe I should ask the guys downstairs for some...

DH has just cooked me a bacon and cheese omelette with toast! I loooove having breakfast for dinner... yum yum...

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 04/04/2009 21:03

SOME OF MY PLUG CAME OUT!!!!!!!!!! how fantastic is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M ON MY WAY!!!!!!!

WOOOOOOHHHHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

mathshoneybunny27 · 04/04/2009 21:07

yay for you Nutty !!

SpringySponge · 04/04/2009 21:13

Yay for Bleu! Nice name, too I feel quite pleased that I was around for the start of it in the middle of the night - it feels more exciting Can't wait to know what happened after that!

Ooh, there are details further on! Oh, what a lovely story. How annoying about the on/off part! Must've been exhausting... But a lovely little girl with no major drama I'm so pleased for you! xx

bronze, that wasn't a funny joke - I got excited for a second Happy birthday to your DS, though & to Boffin's!

Nutty, your DD is such a star That's proof of what a great mummy you are

Puzzle, yay for gambling success!

Now, as for BB! Yay! She didn't half keep us in suspense! I'm dying to know the details! xx

9 babies in one day would really be quite something. I say go for it! What are you waiting for? Get cracking!

SpringySponge · 04/04/2009 21:15

Yay Nutty! Yay!

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 04/04/2009 21:16

Brettgirl - at 3 weeks not mattering?!?!?

Thanks MathsHoney

Maths & Boff - ahh lets all go over to amsterdam and show them how its done

SpringySponge · 04/04/2009 21:20

I've had an interesting day. It started with me being in an absolutely foul mood & crying about how I hate waking up every day & still being pregnant.

Then I decided we should check that the pram fitted in the boot of our car now that we've changed cars. It didn't. Then we played with it a bit & tried putting it up & down, & oh, I hated it. Hated it. Cue lots of wailing & complaints that I just couldn't fight with something so heavy & awkward that wouldn't even fit in our car. So we took it to Mothercare to see if they'd change it.

We did think that it may be a manufacturing fault making it so difficult (it wasn't that difficult in the shop, I'm sure!), but they checked it & said that it was okay. But I told a mini fib & said that I was having a CS & couldn't deal with something so heavy - it's not that I was being fickle, but that circumstances had changed. They took pity on us & swapped it for us. I'm so much happier now.

Then we bought some nice M&S food (& chocolate fudge cake), but dinner was a bit ruined because I ended up crying because DH was angry with me because I accidentally hit him in the testicles .

I'm a bit calmer now (& still a lot, lot happier about our lovely new pushchair) but still definitely very hormonal & over the whole pregnancy thing. & I'm not even overdue yet. I'm hoping that tomorrow will be a better, easier day.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 04/04/2009 21:28

Springy LOL i think she kept us in suspense on purpous the little tease

SpringySponge · 04/04/2009 21:31

Don't worry, I'll text updates whilst they're stitching me up afterwards

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 04/04/2009 21:31

Springy - ((hugs)) good for you getting the pushchair changed, and i'm pleased you are happy with it!! even if you did have to tell a mini fib xx

dont worry about your DH he has 2 testicles so it doesnt matter if one gets a bit damaged LOL

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 04/04/2009 21:34

Springy - see i knew i could rely on you xx

right dh going to pop me in the bath, back in about half hour or so

SpringySponge · 04/04/2009 21:34

I didn't even hit him that hard, but he ended up on the floor. It was an accident, too! & he got really stroppy about it, even after he wasn't in pain anymore. Almost like it's some massive sin against his manhood

SpringySponge · 04/04/2009 21:35

Hope it's lovely & relaxing

gingersarah · 04/04/2009 21:47

Congratuations BB!

Thanks for the birth story Bleu - and very well done, it sounds like there were some pretty exhausted painful times.

Springy - the "accidental" whack in the knackers was definitely Freudian. Your subconscious is seeking revenge.

I just can't do anything. anything. I have had two meals in bed today and all three brought to me by someone else. Despite this I am being a spoilt brat and feeling really narky about being so incapacitated. I am trying to cheer myself up with a song book and my ukelele which is the only thing I feel like doing but it is probably putting lo off music for life. I wish I could make a cake.

I hope BB is playing her cards right about her little boy's name - if she goes in for the kill at the right emotionally overwrought moment her DH won't be able to deny her anything!

PuzzleRocks · 04/04/2009 21:56

Good evening

Just a quickie from me.

Bleu - Sounds like you have settled into motherhood beautifully. Well done my lovely, that was one hell of a slog you tough cookie. Put rock salt in your bath to help with the stitches. And Nelsons Arnica pillules will help with any swelling.

Nutty - Yippee for your show.

Rachel - I will keep my fingers crossed that you are next.

Springy - Nice white lie about the pushchair.
How did you manage to hit him in the testicles?

JuwEggsm · 04/04/2009 21:57

Yay!! Go BB! Congratulations and hellooooo to Baby Boy Bolat.

There's almost a baby a day now! Do you think it will continue like this for the whole of April? Nutty will explode!

BoeuffinMum · 04/04/2009 21:57

I am still not sure how Springy managed to hit DH in the knackers. But it's got to be less painful than what happens to Springy every time he has his wicked way with her, tbh.

Well, DH has had violent food poisoning, probably thanks to the prawns. I am wondering what else can possibly happen to this family right now. I am also wondering whether I have to ban him from the birth for health reasons if he has something like this. What do we all think??

I ate two prawns so currently I have my fingers very crossed.

Nutty, great news about the show. You may even be early!!!

SpringySponge · 04/04/2009 21:57

I just about managed to resist pointing out that he had no reason to complain given the circumstances. It nearly killed me

Sorry that you're so incapacitated It's getting to be so miserable for everyone now. Don't feel bad about being 'a spoilt brat' - it's your prerogative & it's so frustrating still being pregnant, never mind still being pregnant & unable to move. xx

PuzzleRocks · 04/04/2009 21:59

Ginger - Enjoy your rest, and don't you dare feel bad about being looked after. It's the least you deserve.

SpringySponge · 04/04/2009 22:05

Haha, well he accidentally hit me really hard in the nose with his shoulder & I wanted to just be self-contained with the pain because it really hurt & it was sudden & I thought it might bleed. But he was wanting to cuddle me & I kept shrugging him off & saying 'no, go away!', but he was dancing around (behind me) trying to grab at me, so I hit out backwards, aiming for his leg to make him stop, but I missed... Mostly because he was moving! I was really apologetic (through the initial giggles ) & then more obviously sincerely apologetic afterwards - & not annoyed about him accidentally hurting me. But he was still sulking about me hurting him for ages & snapped 'you hit me in the fucking bollocks!' when I asked why he was in such a mood, so I cried. I think it's the best reason for crying in ages

& I totally agree, Boff - considering I lose a night's sleep every time we have sex (I hate daytime sex at the moment, too much of me is visible!) because it hurts so much, he can shush it up!

How rubbish about DH's food poisoning! You're really not on a good streak at the moment! Hopefully you'll be fine if you only had two... It really would be the last thing you need right now...
