PuzzleRocks · 03/04/2009 23:01

Oh for gods sake Springy. I have work to do and i'm sitting here guessing at hairy marys. You do make me laugh.
I wonder how BB is doing.

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 23:04

It's not my fault that you lot can't resist anything fanjo-related

BB's been quiet for over an hour now. Things must really be hotting up if she's not bored enough to update us anymore

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 23:05

I have text her but no reply ..........is she pushing now d'you think???

Swaliswan · 03/04/2009 23:06

I'm going off to bed now. I hope that I wake up in a better mood tomorrow because all I want to do today is cry and I feel really irritable. I want to go off and hide until I have this baby because I'm fed up of people expecting me to have given birth already. And as for DH looking at me as though I'm a ticking time bomb every time I flinch because it's uncomfortable being 8.5 months pg...

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 23:08

Night night, Swali. I wish you a peaceful night with lovely dreams & no need to get up & wee xx

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 23:09

Surely they should just be happy you're at term and just expect you to go on your due date now?

Night Swaliswan xx

Swaliswan · 03/04/2009 23:10

Oh, Springy, now you've made me want to cry because you've been so lovely and understanding to me.

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 23:13

Not getting up to wee really is the height of joy these days

PuzzleRocks · 03/04/2009 23:17

soon2befamilyof4 · 04/04/2009 01:04

Rant and moan here I am afraid.

I am SOO fed up, My bump is huge now and so heavy. I feel like I look like a right idiot when I walk as I am too front heavy! DH is being a moody twat. So am I but I am allowed to lol! DD won;t sleep through the night and when she wakes it takes me so long to actually wake up and go and see her as I am so tired. DH doesn't even wake up - which is worrying me as he will have to look after her when I am in hospital and I don't want her to have to cry herself to sleep because he doesn't wake up. My back is killing me and my tens doesn't seem to even do much to help nowadays. And the batteries need changing and I can't get the battery pack thing out to do it - they are so stuck! Sold loads of stuff online and have spent all evening packaging things up. Went to take my laptop back to carphone warehouse today as it is broken only to be told to go else where so it was a complete waste of time.. Got a christening to go to on Sunday which I do not want to go to at all. I need to sleep or I will be so shattered tomorrow but with backache, DD, restless legs, heartburn, loads to do and constant BH and baby moving it never seems like the best option to lie in bed feeling sorry for myself.

Sorry - just needed to get that off my chest.

mathshoneybunny27 · 04/04/2009 01:15

soon2be - i am here

((soon2be))

soon2befamilyof4 · 04/04/2009 01:26

Thanks. I am just feeling sorry for myself and being a miserable cow really! lol. I just wish I was due NOW not in nearly 3 weeks time! I want this baby out and willing to do most things to get it here! Have had sex the last few nights before bed but really not planning to do it tonight when DH is being an arse. I am going to go to bed now anyway. Hope I can get some sleep!

Goodnight!

BoeuffinMum · 04/04/2009 04:42

soon2be, sleeping is so hard at this stage in the pg. Look at me, I am posting in the middle of the night (again). Can you have a nightie day tomorrow so at least you get some feet up time? And maybe DH can fix the TENS for you when he has stopped being grumpy?

mathshoneybunny27 · 04/04/2009 07:34

I am first up for once - quite a feat considering I went to sleep at 2.30...

Morning all - wonder if baby BB has made an appearance yet?! I will keep my sparkly pom poms here, just in case..

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 04/04/2009 07:55

Morning All

BB UPDATE (from 12 midnight last night) i'm walking around trying to get the little begger out quicker! its not working all that well! but fine really.

lol nothing more recent to report i'm afraid.

Soon2Be ((hugs)) for the not sleeping, do try and get a nap during the day if you can. Nighttime sleep is just seemingly impossible now. xx

AuldAlliance · 04/04/2009 08:02

Morning everyone. Well, I slept from about 9:15 till 4am when, annoyingly, I didn't wake up spontaneously but was dragged from sleep by DH leaping out of bed and shrieking shrilly before hopping around the room and then collapsing into bed, as his arm had gone to sleep. This morning he denies all recollection...
But he and DS are drawing knights and I am off back to bed with the Bel Canto book Boeuffin recommended.

MM sorry I wasn't around in your hour of need. I feel compelled to change Springy's formulas to formulae now, just to make up for it...

BB, your "I'm bored" messages leave me speechless. Many, many adjectives would describe my state during childbirth, but bored is not one of them. Notice you've gone a bit quiet now.... hope all is well, the baby has popped out with no bother and you are on your way to your first family shopping experience at Homebase.

AuldAlliance · 04/04/2009 08:07

Oh, and a little PS re bushes: I was so embarrassed at the state of mine at my MW appt that I actually told her I'd been leaving it alone following my skin rash and she said very strictly not to touch it between now and the birth, because depilation, however done, always irritates the skin to some degree and makes it more vulnerable to infection. She said she would have said the same thing had I not had a rash, and that they wanted mothers to come in for births "just as they are".

So you can feel free to stop contorting and just leave the vegetation alone.

BoeuffinMum · 04/04/2009 08:16

Auld, I agree, Baby Bolat Jr is probably going to have to help with the tiling later. They are indefatigable. Imagine future ante-natal club posts on MN ...

"So BB, mother of 6, what was the first sign of labour"

"I thought something was up when I started demolishing the bathroom and I got a bit damp down below. But it was only 20 pads' worth so I thought I might as well soldier on and finish the DIY".

Re: Bushes, I have been told this too so my bush is in its feral state at the moment. It's actually a relief not having to fiddle about with it.
