Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 13:05

I ask, because the only Real Life person I've spoken to about it was just disgusted by him & made me feel even more weird about my sympathy...?

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 13:06

was on my name list but DH vetoed it sadly

AuldAlliance · 03/04/2009 13:07

Lolita or Humbert, Nutty?

Really am going to lie down, now.

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 13:07

It is a pretty name, but I think the connotations could've been troublesome.

JuwEggsm · 03/04/2009 13:07

...

chickaleggjac · 03/04/2009 13:08

...

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 13:08

Pfft, I love the idea of a little girl called Humbert

& yes, Auld! Go & nap - you must be REALLY tired.

BoffinMum · 03/04/2009 13:08

Or even BritneyMathsBunny

I think the book reads sympathetically too, Springy. It's a very carefully drawn portrait of an obsession and love affair, internally consistent. But probably too emotive for our times, like reading Lady Chatterley in days gone past.

JuwEggsm · 03/04/2009 13:09

BoeuffinMum?

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 13:10

you're supposed to sympathise with him though thats the point really

mathshoneybunny27 · 03/04/2009 13:10

...

mathshoneybunny27 · 03/04/2009 13:10

I refuse to be associated with Britney. My methods are so much subtler

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 13:12

Lolita of course but yep the connotations are a bit dodgey.

BoeuffinMum · 03/04/2009 13:12

Fair enough. You probably got your logarithms out.

JuwEggsm · 03/04/2009 13:13
Grin
JuwEggsm · 03/04/2009 13:14

Did you perform that Moebius strip for him???

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 13:14

Ooh, I like that Ju. BoeuffinMum. Very clever.

& I'm glad you agree, Boff. I feel slightly less perverse now

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 13:15

Ohh, you're all going to be doing maths puns now & I don't know anything

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 13:16

i dont either am crap at anything mathsy

mathshoneybunny27 · 03/04/2009 13:17

Nope, cos I'm off for a short walk to the Post Office...(note to self, buy lots of chocolate)

See you later ladies

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 13:19

See you later

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 13:20

the sad bunny should have one droopy ear methinks....

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 13:23

I agree.

& why is the different to the ?

BoeuffinMum · 03/04/2009 13:24

Springy, it's like Mapplethorpe nudie photos. I wouldn't put them on the front of my Xmas cards but it does constitute an art form worthy of analysis and comment. That does not make one a perve.
