SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 12:35

I think we have a serious case of Head In The Sand...

PuzzleRocks · 03/04/2009 12:36

I read that about Homebase too. I wonder if the same applies in the Audi showroom near my Mum?

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 12:37

Worth a try.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 12:38

Just checked back and other than that they were engaged there's nothing ........it's going to be a case of head out of the fanjo soon if shes not careful

Puzzle oooohhh thats gotta be worth a try!!!

AuldAlliance · 03/04/2009 12:39

BB, I think you are winding us up now with your trip to Homebase. Actually, you had a baby three days ago and are stringing us along in some elaborate and very warped April Fool's joke.

Right, just back from taking DS to school, going to have a nap and then hopefully waddle to the PO to post that book, Boff, prior to collecting DS again.

Today I have walked: to school and back 3 times; to the market and back with a heavy basket; to the hospital and back.
Am feeling like a wee lie down, surprisingly.
Saw the MW, who was v reassuring (or do I mean dismissive?), I have taken sachet of vile granules to cure gardnerella and she says there are v few staph. aureus cells so I should calm down. I bet DH agrees, as I collapsed in a gibbering mess last night and he wasn't up to dealing with it, what with him having a shite day at work, a blinding headache and then, apparently, after I'd gone to bed, a delightful flow of pus from one eye. Something tells me the tension is getting to us both...

Swaliswan · 03/04/2009 12:46

I'm back from the hairdresser and I am ridiculously please with my haircut. I almost cried when she had finished it because it's the first time that I've felt vaguely attractive in months.

I'm off to get DD from nursery now so I'll see you all later.

phdlife · 03/04/2009 12:47

hello

still nothing happening here

going to bed now, night night

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 12:52

Auld - Have a Nice nap glad everything is not as bad as it seemd to be yesterday xx

Swaliswan - Photos?? glad you feel better

PHD - have a nice sleep

mathsmummy27 · 03/04/2009 12:53

oi Springy..less of the big harlot..

27 is an almost perfect number, which I like as I am too...

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 12:53

Haha, I like the idea of the April Fool's joke

Auld, you must be exhausted! & DH's pussy eye sounds delicious I hope the stress is reduced a lot very soon!

Swali, yay for your nice haircut! Am very , though. I don't remember the last time I felt attractive & it'll be a good while yet until I do.

Night phd xx

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 12:54

'Big' was referring to the degree of your harlotry, not your physical size

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 12:56

can you overdose on chocolate???

today i have eaten

6 chocolate biscuits (only that many left in the pack)
1 galaxy egg (small one)
Drank 2 bottles of mars milkshake
3 chocolate dohnuts
and a nuttela sandwich

must stop scoffing chocolate now!!

mathsmummy27 · 03/04/2009 12:57

Oh I see. HUUUUUUUUUUGE then.

Juwes...we prefer the one by The Police....

When we've had the babies and are sitting around bfing (HA!) then I'll tell you all..(as long as you promise not to tell the GTC...Boff..I mean you...)

JuwEggsm · 03/04/2009 12:58

No, not possible. All good healthy energy food to prepare body for childbirth. Good mixture of instant energy, and slow-burning stuff. Plus milk for calcium. Plus Nutella is practically a health food, the adverts say so.

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 03/04/2009 12:59

Nutty - didn't you know that chocolate is a vegetable? It's made from beans so is actually very healthy... you're definitely getting your Five-A-Day on your current diet!

mathsmummy27 · 03/04/2009 13:00

lol Juwes...it's full of hazelnuts after all...

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 03/04/2009 13:00
NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 13:00

but we're all sitting around now ......waiting for babies ...we will have forgotten by the time we've all popped and are sat round BFing

tis unfair as you know the female brain goes a bit mushy post chilbirth

BoffinMum · 03/04/2009 13:00

I promise
I think the GTC are a waste of space anyway, tbh. I'm embarrased to be associated with it.

mathsmummy27 · 03/04/2009 13:01

oh and Nutty..I've made some little knitted chicks to put on mantelpiece that have Creme Eggs inside...and have discovered I can eat all the eggs and just 'fluff them up' a bit so no-one notices...[grins]

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 13:02

I've not had any chocolate yet today, so you can count my portion in that Nutty - it's much more reasonable if you share it out

Young teacher, the subject
Of schoolgirl fantasy
She wants him so badly
Knows what she wants to be...

Not quite 'like the old man in that book by Nabakov', though. That's a little different.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 13:02

thats ok then >

ah bliss

the bunnies are back YAY!!

BoffinMum · 03/04/2009 13:02

Think you should change your name to BritneyMathsMummy

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 13:04

MM - Genius!!

ooooohhh now i love Lolita!!! film is good too.

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 13:04

The bunnies are ace!

& now I'm thinking about Lolita again. I found that book so disturbing. Mostly because I sympathised with Humbert Humbert. I guess that's a testament to how good the book is, but it just made me feel so uneasy. Tell me I'm not the only one who kind of liked him & could almost justify his actions?
