Though I wish I didn't have to get up with DH...it's like having a teenager I'm sure. He won't get out of bed half the time unless I get out first...
Though I thinks that's partly because he like to watch me dress

purplemonkeydishwasher · 30/03/2009 18:04

CONGRATS TO CLAIREY!!!! (love the name violet!) can't wait to hear about how the birth went!

bleu - i want to hear the end of the story! and if ever there was a reason to get dental work done it's that it's FREE during pregnancy and for a year after! (i got LOTS done last time!)

i took DS swimming today. then uptown to get some groceries in. I have decided that the bus SUCKS ASS and I HATE people. NO ONE ever gives me their seat and I always have to trudge to the back of the bus usually with heavy bags. wankers.

then trying to cross the road to get home and NO BLOODY ONE stopped even though it was at the LIGHTS! i seriously considered throwing something at the cars. luckily i didn't get there in time becuase i was picturing the jar of pasta sauce in my bag. they wouldn't sent a heavily pregnany woman to jail would they??

right, so who's next in the baby race? place your bets!

AuldAlliance · 30/03/2009 18:05

Didn't like to interrupt there, Bleu, you seemed to be on a roll. Actually, had nothing to post about, another riveting afternoon where I tried to nap but was regularly awoken by DS saying "Wake up, lazybones", followed by endless games and then cleaning kitchen.

I seem to be having little stabbing pains in the fanjo, don't remember those from last time. But no other signs and none allowed until the 6th (am trying to brainwash baby into staying inside till then).

Bleuravin · 30/03/2009 18:05

One of my favorite things is to go into town early in the morning, just after the shops have opened and window shop...have a little coffee and then skidaddle before it gets busy at lunch... so relaxing

SpringySunshine · 30/03/2009 18:05

All of my insides are swollen too It's a bit disconcerting. No stabbing for me, though.

Bleuravin · 30/03/2009 18:09

Oh Auld, sorry about not being able to nap
I hate that too...but for me it's the cat... jumps on the bed or couch and meows to be walked down to his food. Bloody animal. You can try to push him away or ignore him, but then he starts getting destructive...and I really cannot afford a new bed or couch right now...

Bleuravin · 30/03/2009 18:10

Oh good...swollen insides not just me then
Even tough I'm sorry at the same time

Bleuravin · 30/03/2009 18:12

I'd love in a purely scientific sense to know what it all looks like in there... I'm really curious what's going on...that's why that beautiful cervix site from a while back interested me...

Bleuravin · 30/03/2009 18:14

Gosh, I do wonder about the pains...I bet I'm dilating as I type... how exciting

Bleuravin · 30/03/2009 18:16

I'm going on about it too much aren't I?

Bleuravin · 30/03/2009 18:16

I just feel rather strangely hyper...

Bleuravin · 30/03/2009 18:18

Where oh where is my dear husband?
Oh where or where could he be?
He said he was going to pick me up a beef curry...
oh where oh where could he be?

Bleuravin · 30/03/2009 18:20

right just got a call from him...he's had bike problems so I'm off to pick him up.

hugs to everyone

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 30/03/2009 18:21

Felt a bit guilty at the dinner table ... DS2 was chattering about next term at his school and I was thinking to myself, "Well, you're not going to be there, mate". I hope he doesn't throw a wobbly when we tell him.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 30/03/2009 19:15

Boff - i'm sure he will be fine once he settles in xx

BoffinMum · 30/03/2009 19:17

I know but we are really piling on the stress, pulling him out of the current school and away from his friends at the same time as his baby sibling is due!!

Should have done this in September as originally planned but I wanted to give current school one final chance.

OddEyes · 30/03/2009 19:17

boff - sorry for you internal trauma, doing what we think is the best thing for our kids is hard, hey! when will you tell him?
just doing an ocado shop to be delivered wed so that when i hopefully return on thurs eve it is full of joy - any recommendations on yummyness post birth - so far have olives (whose fault is that?), coke, yum unpasturised cheese and chirzo. Are there still things that one should avoid when breast feeding I can't remember?

BoffinMum · 30/03/2009 19:18

I can't be doing with the mad head teacher and the indifferent special needs stuff though. The other place is a lot better organised.

BoffinMum · 30/03/2009 19:19

Oh those olives were great. I still have a few left.

Do you think I should bribe DS with lego? Or would it be just too off the scale of foolhardy and immoral for an educationalist to do this?????

OddEyes · 30/03/2009 19:19

oh fennel tea just gone on list - recommend to those breastfeeding.

OddEyes · 30/03/2009 19:21

As an educationalist myself I use bribery everytime, even for my staff!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 30/03/2009 19:21

Boffin - it will all work out ok, you are only doing whats best for him and even if he has a little wibble about it i'm sure he will appreciate it further along the line (he will have 2 sets of school friends too so extra parties etc plug the benefits !!)

Bribery and corruption works everytime
