Juwesm - buddy system details above just so you can let your buddy know if/when you are in labour and give breif details of baby arriving safely, weight, name etc then your buddy can post on mn for you

its good that you're relaxed about it all most of it is instinct and for the rest you have us we're all more than happy to help if you get stuck or need to know anything, and there is always someone online.

Ok updated list (Hope this is the right one - if not Puzzle will sort it out when she is online!!!)

Juwesm, I was very sceptical about MN when I first joined and it has been my lifeline since joining! Tis my first too and have no idea what I am getting myself into but will be fine - I have to be right???!!!

Ooh kitty and they are half price in Tesco too....

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 02/03/2009 11:05

thanks BB

and i think its the middle bit of the pineapple you need too

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 02/03/2009 11:05

PS plumber is apparently coming this afternoon... we'll see if they can actually sort it out this time...

BabyBolat · 02/03/2009 11:07

Oh Kitty, don't tell them that we will be on rude plumber comments all afternoon!!!

Juwesm · 02/03/2009 11:07

Oops - suspect I should have called you Nutty, not Smutty!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 02/03/2009 11:09

Juwesm - uuuuummmmm up to you really either is fine LOL i was Nutty but i got given an extention to my name

you will see why..........

OP posts:
BabyBolat · 02/03/2009 11:11

Smutty is much more appropriate Juwesm - (read back on last nights posts and give her until this afternoon when Springy and Boff log on and then you will see why...)

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 02/03/2009 11:11

BB the restraint is killing me now!!!

Kitty - thats good news! better get the tissues ready though

OP posts:
Juwesm · 02/03/2009 11:15

Ah, well, if that's the case, Nutty, BB, have a look at this thread:

Dadsnet : First post from a new member - fantasies about DP 'going solo' (long-ish)

Sorry - am sure there is a proper way of linking to other threads but all my tech-savvy has been replaced by amniotic fluid.

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 02/03/2009 11:18

Yes... no dirty plumber jokes for me... no nookie AT ALL until 37 weeks, so that's four weeks of celibacy!! Boo hoo! Will have to sustain myself on half-price easter eggs instead, I think...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 02/03/2009 11:25

PMSL at cucumber thread almost as good as the banana thread a while back

But Kitty think of all the fun you could be having with all those "tools" not to mention playing with stop cocks

OP posts:
BabyBolat · 02/03/2009 11:33

Stop it Smutty and Juw stop encouraging her!!! Oh dear we have another one on the thread...

BoffinMum · 02/03/2009 11:34

Who took my name in vain??

Electrician has been. He tested my current and had a good look at my transformers. The question is where to do the mounting, of course, because of regulations.

What?? What???

Juwesm, welcome to our happy band. We are so chatty we seem to get through a thread a day, practically. I am due the day after you, btw.

Juwesm · 02/03/2009 11:36

But BB, so many things to consider: organic or cheap own-brand? Homegrown cucumbers, I note, tend to be a lot more knobbly. Half a cucumber better value for money. The poor man needs advice. When chilled in fridge, perhaps useful post-partum pain relief device?

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 02/03/2009 11:38

tee hee... Welcome, Juw, to our fabulous April Antenatal club! we're all nymphomaniac chocoholics, apparently... 'm sure you'll fit in just fine...

Juwesm · 02/03/2009 11:39

Thanks Boff, pleased to be here. Now I feel I have something legitimate to do instead of making some kind to effort to hoover or dust. This must count as antenatal class, right?

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 02/03/2009 11:40

oooohh boffin i do like a good mounting in the morning

have the sparks been flying?

ROFL homegrown

OP posts:
SmuttyNuttyTaff · 02/03/2009 11:41

put the hoover away and the duster down!!!

let your ante natal education begin......

OP posts:
Juwesm · 02/03/2009 11:42

Peeled or unpeeled?

Must stop this.

Hi Kitty!

Juwesm · 02/03/2009 11:43

Think my brief 24-hour flirtation with Twitter may be over now I have you!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 02/03/2009 11:44

yeah but what about protection do you leave it in the wrapper and re sheath

OP posts:
SmuttyNuttyTaff · 02/03/2009 11:46

or re sheath not and sorry lol

BB sorry xxx gwannn get smutty! you know you want to

OP posts:
Claireykitten · 02/03/2009 11:47

Juw mumsnetting is FAR more important than hoovering or dusting!!

Plus you are on maternity leave you cant be expected to do anything more strenuous than chatting to us and you will probably find that some of these lovely ladies can give you much better advice than any ante-natal class so yes I think it counts!!
