Who needs work when you have Online Monopoly?

BoffinMum · 17/02/2009 20:55

Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough, Springy.

Dat woman gets nuffin from me after dat. It was Boff's thread.

Report
SpringySunshine · 17/02/2009 20:58

Oh, oh... What was that? Hmm? I just posted on that thread again? Surely not! Surely I wouldn't dare cross the Boff like that! Oh my... It appears I may have done!

Report
BabyBolat · 17/02/2009 21:04

oooh that thread is getting a bit uncomfortable now -

Report
BoffinMum · 17/02/2009 21:04

Ha!

Any more and I will get a transfer to your university and become your tutor and menace you about your results A LOT!!!

Report
SpringySunshine · 17/02/2009 21:05

Hahaha, touché Boffin I half expected such a comeback. I was too cocky

I bow to your superiority & admit defeat

Report
SpringySunshine · 17/02/2009 21:05

Although I wish you would transfer to my uni - that'd be so great

Is it still kicking off on the nappy thread?

Report
SpringySunshine · 17/02/2009 21:09

Oof. Some people need to sit down with a nice cup of cocoa & a good, calming book, I think.

Evening ladies. How are we all?

Report
Schulte · 17/02/2009 21:16

Hooray, will have a little fun on the nappy thread too. Online Monopoly sounds like just the thing to keep me entertained during maternity leave - before LO arrives obviously.

Report
SpringySunshine · 17/02/2009 21:19

I threw my thoughts in because I don't like crazed nappy-washers getting grumpy & turning on my lovely people

& Schulte, yes - obviously

mathsmummy! How are you? I'm mostly very excited about it being 3 sleeps until I'm married, recovering from this evil cold (I may yet survive!) & panicking a little bit in case the wedding things don't come together in time. Also wondering how people get to be so uptight at the internet about nappies...

Report
BabyBolat · 17/02/2009 21:21

Honestly I know I know you lot but even if I didn't even I could see the thread title was a little tongue in cheek! Really that is why I never go out of this thread - people are so mean to each other and completely take things out of context!!

Report
SpringySunshine · 17/02/2009 21:22

By the way, I have absolutely no issue with people who use washable nappies at all. To be honest, I couldn't give a rat's bottom as to which nappies people put their babies in. Frankly, as an anosmic, I'm not that bothered if you don't put your babies in nappies at all

It's other people's high horses that bug me - it's so unnecessary to get aggressive about these things.

I am quite enjoying it, actually. I am very naughty underneath.

How about another one entitled "The joys of artificial feeding - come and tell us why you appreciate formula and how it saves your sanity". We can then put formula in people's cocoa while they are not looking.

I have just realised with shock that Springy will be on honeymoon for a bit and not posting.

This is a very bad state of affairs indeed. I would suggest a live honeymoon thread but that would probably be in bad taste ...

Schulte · 17/02/2009 21:27

(sulks) nobody has answered my question on the nappy thread... are you REALLY supposed to scratch the poo out before you bin them? And how would you do that?

Report
Schulte · 17/02/2009 21:28

Ha ha Boffin soon2be has already seen to that... I mean bf against formula...

Report
SpringySunshine · 17/02/2009 21:32

Yes, it may be considered a bit pervy in some circles, Boffin

By SpringySunshine on Sat 21-Feb-09 14:39:23
Ooh, must dash - he's regaining consciousness & we've only had 26 married shags so far! Will be back to discuss nappies later!

By SpringySunshine on Sat 21-Feb-09 15:10:17
It's beginning to chafe now So - where's all the talk about poo got to?

Yay for nappy thread, although not going to re-enter the fray think is a bit too grumpy for me. Yay for nice antenatal thread!
Can you imagine not using nappies at all, as in Elimination Communication, guess it saves money though!?

Report
BoffinMum · 17/02/2009 21:43

PMSL Springy!!!

I got a sort of jaw problem after my honeymoon, which the chiropractor kindly fixed for me without asking questions. Nor should any of you.

OddEyes, how could one avoid nappies altogether in a cold climate like this???? [hmmm]
