Well it's two months until all of our due month (apart from Barbarella and Oddeyes !!

I have to say the 6th month went so so slowly for me and hoping Feb will be quicker as it is only 28 days!

I'M BACK!!!! Yee-ha!!

I am absolutely, totally, completely, and wholeheartedly in love with my husband... He kept the secret soooo well and didn't let on until we were in the car! He is so sneaky sometimes... in a good way...

So the surprise destination was this hotel which is possibly the coolest place I've ever been... We slept each night in a different style of room - THAT'S what the Cohiba, Peppermint and Purple was all about! - and spent the days sightseeing in Oxford and eating Michelin-starred cuisine! Check out the pics of the different rooms - the first night was in Cohiba, quite Mafia-like with leather furniture and a zebra-print carpet. Second night was the Peppermint suite - which had a massive bath at the foot of the bed, the two of us ran a bubble bath and watched Chocolat on the flatscreen TV while drinking divine non-alcoholic cocktails! So romantic... Last night took the cake though - the Purple Suite is the most insane room ever, with purple velvet walls, mauve silk-lined ceiling, and REAL FUR curtains - but that's not the best bit... they have an Infinity bath which fills up from the CEILING - kind of like this but in black leather and mirrors instead of marble - and once in, gently massages you with jets while the underwater lights change colours... It was insane, orgasmic, incredible, over the top - and I loved every second of it!! Of course we had TONS of nookie as well - so between that, all my orgasmic baths and the incredible food I'm feeling like a New Woman...

I am a very happy bunny right now...

Have just caught up - what a marathon you ladies have had! Glad to hear that SPD, Rocking chairs, house inspections, Sarkozy and grubby DS's have been carrying on normally in my absence...

If it makes anyone feel better, I seem to have come back from Oxford with a killer cold so am in bed drinking lemon and honey tea...
Serves me right for lying in various baths for so long...

BabyBolat · 01/02/2009 21:05

Kitty, if I didn't like you so much I would have to de-friend you for making me so jealous!!!

What a lovely lovely lovely DH you have! that hotel looks divine and what a great time relaxing and just being loved up! Although your DH did have us all running around trying to work out his sneaky surprise!!!

Done! Think you would prefer McSteamy - he has a dirty mind too xx

I hear you on the purple suite AND the McDreamy... I tell you, girls, that bathtub was something else!!

The pics of the rooms do NOT do that hotel justice... I spent at least ten minutes just TOUCHING everything in that Purple room - every surface was just so interesting! The floors were covered with crocodile leather, for Pete's sake!!! Who else thinks the decorator was gay? I do! I do!! tee hee...

Kitty that was a magnificent weekend break. I am with the others in being incredibly jealous!!

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 01/02/2009 21:25

Nutty! Holding tongues is NOT allowed in our antenatal group - didn't you know that?? tee hee...

In fact, my first reaction on walking into the room was to run my fingers suggestively over the padded velvet walls and say to DH - THIS could be interesting...

BabyBolat · 01/02/2009 21:26

LOL Nutty!

OP posts:
BabyBolat · 01/02/2009 21:29

Although do you know if DH took me somewhere like that now I am more than likely to just spend the entire time in the bath or asleep on the many luxury surfaces rather than engage in a weekend of nookie! poor man!!!

Tee hee BB... I hear you, that's exactly what we did every morning! Looooooong sleep-ins followed by smoked salmon and scrambled eggs in bed... I love room service...

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 01/02/2009 21:37

Nutty - you're right, Tollhouse has LOTS of possibility...

Kitty has visions of swinging from the rafters with huge bump like one of these
NOT a pretty sight...

BabyBolat · 01/02/2009 21:37

I have just showed DH this whole page and told him if he wants to get any he has a lot to love up to... he has now taken himself off to think about it mumbling something about the evilness of MN!!

BabyBolat · 01/02/2009 21:39

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 01/02/2009 21:39

BB that is hysterical... PMSL at grumbling hubbies!

BabyBolat · 01/02/2009 21:40

I really feel like I have reverted back to the third trimester - have a craving for pepsi / coke (which I hate), bread and crackers or anything plain like potatoes!!!

OP posts:
KittyCatIsGettingFat · 01/02/2009 21:42

You mean the first, I would imagine?? Me too in a way - my stomach is definitely getting squashed, I can only eat little bits often rather than proper meals... very strange...
