And I go on maternity leave on 6 Feb 2009. Yes. That is the result of being the breadwinner, ladies.

I'm letting dinky and mrsy sort it out, they seem like very organised people to me. I'm better at following instructions (and asking questions). Oh, and spending money, that's one of my strengths. And eating, musn't forget that.

I don't think updating the list is about kicking people out or anything like it. We have getting on to 100 people on the list and not as many posters, I agree some may come back or be lurking. If we leave those on who have left the site then this thread will be open forever!

As for the postnatal group, I will continue to post over here until there is someone else (assuming no one else beats me to it!) and then I'll post in both places until we're all over there.

Still can't believe I've had it confirmed, no more than 4 weeks left!

TBM, ref your back, mine is completely buggered too (L5/L5 held together with various bits of metal, bone grafts and sticky back plastic). I wasn't able to have an epidural when I had DD now aged 2 but had a spinal block (although they did have GA stuff standing by in case it didn't work, but it did). All set to have a spinal block again this time so maybe its something you could raise as a possibility? Don't really understand the difference but seem to recall that one of the girls on here is very clever ref medical stuff and did explain the difference previously. Worth asking x

mumoverseas everyone said I'd have to have a GA, I'll have to check that one out. Hoping it won't be an issue if she comes early as it won't put as much pressure on the scar.

I've got to have investigations when the relaxin levels have returned to normal and they can see what's really going on. I had a fall just over three years ago when I was pregnant with Lily-Hope and my back never recovered. It's not really PGP I have but it's the only thing they can treat.

lardy, when you can make the walk remember "Good to Heaven, Bad to Hell" Going up stairs you lead with your good side and coming down your bad so that there is less strain on your bad side.

This is why I need to move, crawling up communal concrete stairs with no covering is not a good idea! At least in a house I can go up and down on my bottom and Tink is more likely to do it alone.

It feels like my baby is standing on my left hip and projecting himself off it towards my right rib. It is most odd.

Tink - wow, our first baby within the next 4 weeks! Now that will suddenly make it all really real.....

I know I am uber-organised but dont really want to be lady in charge of updating list (believe it or not, I only get an hour max at work to mumsnet and use other internet sites during the day and internet connection at home is sporadic so something tells me that list maintenance may need more time than I can devote to it). Happy to spend an evening sometime sorting through the original list to separate into regular posters and lurkers who need to post to avoid being suspended from the list but that is the maximum I can devote to it. Should any other organised list obsessive wish to take on the job, am only to happy to defer to them.........
