yep thats so true - different men in different films, i like hugh grant in soem films but others i would leave him on the shelf!!!

Christian Slater in Robin Hood - yummy would have him on toast for breakfast!

pupuce · 23/02/2005 14:05

KVG - Big Blue is only 1988, does that make it an old film ? But agree about JM Barre!

teabelly · 23/02/2005 14:05

Sooo maybe it's the naughty characters we like - I do like a bad man, he he he

katzguk · 23/02/2005 14:07

i like the lovable rogue characters, naughty but nice really.

teabelly · 23/02/2005 14:07

Ha ha ha 1988 is not that old to me, but for some of these girlies they were just in nursery!!!

For me the most bizarre change in "flavour" is Viggo Mortensen...
I could drop anything and live with him as Aragon in Lord of the rings...
But god, he looks nothing like that usually! And nothing that I like either! Just amazing!

teabelly · 23/02/2005 14:08

Oh god yes Lua - completely with you there!!!

OP posts:
katzguk · 23/02/2005 14:10

Lua - oh yes!! its worth the bladder busting length of lord of the rings just to watch him!!

1988 - i was 11 and in love with Will Wheaton from Stand by me

teabelly · 23/02/2005 14:12

God now I feel really old - I started work in 1987!!! and then had a thing for Andrew McCarthy and Bryan Brown - if I could have seen into the future and those citroen ads I may have changed my mind sooner!!!

Well if we're talking hobbits (not that Viggo was one) I would have no objection to Eljiah Wood (in real life, not in his guise as Frodo). Fortunately I am a short a*se so his diminutive stature would not be a problem for me. The fact he is about 12 might be though

Talking of The Big Blue, I am actually quite partial to Jean Reno, I dunno why since he isn't in the least good-looking.

Christian Slater in Robin Hood - I used to take loads of abuse off my flat-mates at Uni cos he was my fave in that film. Then they all had to admit that perhaps I had been right after all Kev's hair fell out.

For further international flavour, I would also offer respect to Mr Chow Yun-Fat (or "Chow Yun-Fat, have some of that" as he is known among certain of my friends). Yummy.

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 23/02/2005 14:16

just had to comment, I had a bursting bladder during Lord of the Rings as well. I was not moving for love nor money. There were some pretty gorgeous specimens on display (not the dwarf or the orcs in case you were wondering!)

MrsWednesday · 23/02/2005 14:17

Oooh yes Andrew McCarthy, I liked him. Jude Law doesn't do much for me I'm afraid, too 'pretty'. Same with David Beckham (nice bod though). Would have to vote for Brad Pitt.

I'm disappointed this time round I haven't had very many raunchy dreams. I still remember one I had when I was pregnant with DS (involving me, DH and Catherine Zeta Jones that makes me every time I think of it!).

teabelly · 23/02/2005 14:19

Mars Lady - I hope you don't mean Gandulf either, he he he!!!

Lua · 23/02/2005 14:20

Mrs. W!!!!
you need to explain how do you get you, DH and zeta-jones into a raunchy dream.... I am having very [blushing] ideas of it...

BTW I love you guys! I am having such a sh*t day in RL!!!! Thanks for the distraction!!

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 23/02/2005 14:20

lol

teabelly · 23/02/2005 14:21

Mrs W - I'm !!

MrsWednesday · 23/02/2005 14:21

Never seen Lord of the Rings but everything is bladder-bursting for me these days. I need a wee as soon as I've just been for one.

And being kicked on the bladder by the baby whilst mid-wee yesterday was one of the strangest experiences I've ever had.

Sorry, sure you didn't want to know that.

MrsWednesday · 23/02/2005 14:22

I was too. DH kept trying to get me to describe it to him but I was too embarrassed to talk about it.

Honestly, I'm sat at my desk blushing now.

teabelly · 23/02/2005 14:24

...and so you should be Mrs W, so you should be...Angelina Jollie has a much better body than CZJ

katzguk · 23/02/2005 14:28

what are you like!!!

snowing here again - got to go down the road in a mo to the other department where i work, then off to buy DD her own sledge!!

teabelly · 23/02/2005 14:32

Oh I Katz - off to your other dept, wink wink nudge nudge - are you sure you're not really off to see that georgous dentist you tutored last week??!!!

OP posts:
Lua · 23/02/2005 14:32

KAtz - that is so unfair... You just basically leave down thehighway... am my poor dd cannot even get enough snow to make one snowball!! She keeps me asking for more snow! Can you please send some in our way? We just get the yucky cold killing my bulbs!

katzguk · 23/02/2005 14:36

Lua she might be lucky and there should hopefully be some left in the peaks this weekend, i will put DD's sledge in the car and her prized carrot for the snowmans nose!! I can't believe there is no snow in manchester we've got a couple of inches! Come on over and play, you'll have to coem the long way round to sheffield because i think the A57 might be closed! its the road that runs through the middle of the peaks and joins manchester to sheffield

As for the dentist no i'm seeing him on friday for a session in a dark room with a mircoscope!!
