my midwife actually recommended for me to start taking raspberry leaf now as i'm nearly 37 weeks. she said she swears by it and it really does help esp during 2nd stage of labour.

Does anyone know about the tablets? I hate drinking anything nasty. And how exactly does it help? I know what you mean about going 42wks NO WAY could i handle it.

the tablets i have are from holland and barrett. they are just capsules with the dried leaf inside them. you can just swallow them with water or break them open and make tea with them. i didn't fancy drinking the tea either (it would probably make me sick!!) so i've been just swallowing them whole.
at this point i'm willing to try anything and it's all natural stuff so it can't do any harm.
