Shazza- Dreaming about exes is extremely normal during pregnancy. Happens a great deal during the second trimester as well. Seems during that phase your mind is recalling lots of memories. During my first pregnancy I had dreams about every guy I'd been in a "relationship" with. Quite detailed dreams I might add. My guess is it's your brains way of allowing you to relive some wonderous moments that will NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.

Petitfilou- I've purchased the aloe but have decided not to give it to DD.

Cyteen- great news about your friend.

LadyofWaffle- wonderful news.

DD and I are headed back outside to enjoy the SUNSHINE!! Wish I could bottle it and ship it to all of you. Honestly this is the nicest day we've had yet.

petit thank you sooooooooo much, was missing it dreadfully! thats actually what one of my ex's used to call me, not sure if it was a compliment or not lol

good grief about the bathroom light, paint over it and run away

dd1 now filming herself on her digital camera and dd2 running about naked and happy as a pig in muck - such simple children in this house

dizzydixies · 18/04/2008 19:00

TS thats lovely, we've had a lovely sunny day too, I fell asleep in a sunbeam in the car and the heat on my face was the best have felt in years

tis meant to be a very VERY warm summer here, that should be fun being heavy and heavily pregnant

dizzydixies · 18/04/2008 19:01

libbyssister - what a great birthday your ds has

PetitFilou1 · 18/04/2008 19:35

TS - Please do, it is bitterly cold here. Roll on the Summer.....or even something that vaguely resembles it.....

HazieAndBaby · 18/04/2008 19:53

Longwayfromhome, I?m totally PMSL at the mental images of lowering yourself over a bowl of water to weigh your boobs! Imagine your DH came in! How to explain that one! I?m glad it gave you a rough idea though, at least it wasn?t totally fruitless.

I?m amazed at your list now Twilightsurfer, it's great! It looks majorly organised so I think so should have a big pat on the back!

Glad everything went well with your scan Cyteen and was sorry to hear about your sonographer. I bet if he ever grew a baby inside him he would know it was the most amazing thing in the world! I wouldn?t worry about it, we all know how brilliant it is here! Well, most of the time!

DH told me this morning that he had been about to wake me during the night to make sure that I was okay, as I seemed to be fidgeting a lot. He could feel the movement on the mattress and it was driving him mad! He leaned over to check me and I was totally still, he then realised that the baby was kicking like mad and I was lying in such a position that he could feel it on the mattress! He was really impressed and said that it made him smile all day! Whereas if it actually had been me doing the fidgeting, I?d have promptly been elbowed in the back!

Oh dizzy, I totally forgot to thank you for your tip about moving onto my left side during the night if I have trapped wind - it really really works! DH is so glad he sleeps on the left side so he isn't facing my back at all as it shifts all the wind easily!

dizzydixies · 18/04/2008 19:57

glad to have helped hazie nothing worse than painful trapped wind

TwilightSurfer · 18/04/2008 20:38

Well it's too bloody hot to be on our back porch any longer. I've rinsed all the sunscreen off and set myself up with a snack (poptarts and milk). DD is on our front porch, in the shade, putting on a performance for the cats...in her underwear. I've just stuck my head out the window and told her SHORTS are required!!! Dizzy I think our kids would get along just fine.

Hazie that's a wild story about the baby kicking the mattress. You must be carrying the next David Beckham (or female equivalent).

Oh and on a really funny note, I purchased a replacement shower curtain for my master bathroom today (i think i'm the only one who uses it....). On the curtain is a map of the world. Since I'm in there so much lately it gives me a chance to catch up on geography and see where we all live in relation to each other. Totally stupid, right. It was my little giggle gift to myself. DH will probably not find it amusing. Aren't you all happy to know what I do in the loo. LOL

BraveNewWorld you must have the doctor I just tossed to the wayside. 18 years and she still didn't know me from the next bloke. Her nurse, who was with her the whole time, always...ALWAYS destroyed my name when she called me out of the waiting room. 18 YEARS!! It only takes two seconds to READ the file.....they've got the means by which to TOTALLY FAKE knowing us.

Dizzy sounds like you need some loo entertainment too.

Honestly ladies. Has anyone paid attention to the amount of time we spend in the loo these days. Is it once an hour...twice and hour...when we laugh...when we sneeze...when we cough..... AND WE'RE ONLY HAVE WAY COOKED!!! What's the going rate on adult diapers these days.

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 18/04/2008 20:54

I normally have my baby name book in with me

oh, that and my audience, I never get to pee alone anymore

TwilightSurfer · 18/04/2008 20:57

My oldest cat is eight years old...that's how long it's been since I was "allowed" to go to the bathroom by myself. At least the cat didn't ask, "mommy what's that?"

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 18/04/2008 20:58

lol, our family bathroom normally has me, both dd, the dog and on occassion (just for a pee(dh) I draw the line for a number 2!!

TwilightSurfer · 18/04/2008 21:02

LOL I'll give it to my DH for NEVER joining in.

Shazza2002 · 18/04/2008 21:14

Evening ladies

Can really relate to the not being able to pee alone. Or anything alone for that matter. DD has always been clingy but just lately I feel as though I've grown an extra bumcheek

Generally feeling better now after talking to you all and realising I'm not the only person feeling emotional and down. Hopefully it is just hormones.

Going to look at prams tomorrow so very excited about that, even though I know what one I want I still have to do research right?

dizzydixies · 18/04/2008 21:15

shazza - are you going to stay here and talk 'ahem' busty wedding outfits with me?!

TwilightSurfer · 18/04/2008 21:22

OMG I'm watching the last shown episode of Desperate Housewives and BREE is using the carseat I want.

OP posts:
Shazza2002 · 18/04/2008 21:34

Dizzy - Would love to talk busty outfits but DD is giving me a headache, seriously she has not stopped talking since I got in at 5:30. How her tongue hasn't dropped off I'll never know. So as it's school holidays her routine is way out hence why she is still up. So the only way I can get some peace is to put her to bed and me go myself.

But will be around tomorrow evening to try and sort out our dillemma that's been caused by other people I have asked my friend to change her wedding date but funny enough she won't agree.

Shazza2002 · 18/04/2008 21:35

As it's the last episode TS, maybe they won't need it anymore

dizzydixies · 18/04/2008 21:37

I bought a tunic from matalan and it looks rather nice with white trousers, maybe a little casual but am waving the preggy card and stating that anything more than joggy bottoms is a treat for them

if you can wait will find a link

dizzydixies · 18/04/2008 21:39

matalan tunic

TwilightSurfer · 18/04/2008 21:59

Dizzy, I like your outfit idea.

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 18/04/2008 22:03
