TwilightSurfer · 27/03/2008 12:22

Oh and DD was up at 4:30AM. She didn't make it to the potty but it appears she dumped her wet stuff at the door and put on a pull-up for the remainder of the morning. NICE!

agree ladies to the extent have stuffed it onto the 'never ever to be used' credit card and ordered it in both red and purple - am fair skinned and fairish hair with green eyes so red has never been my thing but seeing as its cheaper we'll give it a whirl

just got the lasercut fret work invite to wedding this morning and the farking accomodation for 2 nights is going to cost us £170!!!!! that plus dress plus present and travel and the girl shoes are £40 for both pairs and we'll have to hire a kilt for dh at £80 - am not going to cry am not going to cry am not going to cry - here's hoping the bank of dad is feeling generous at some point re it all
nearly £00 and we've not even been yet [humph] sorry to sound so tight about it all

VG will definately be investing in some of those spakx things, my aunt is obsessed with weight and there will be 2 other preggy birds there much slimmer and not as far on as me so every little helps

shazza never considered ankle/calf dilema - arse, also the fact I'm not very good at walking in anything higher than a flipflop worrying me

may go back to the trousers and top options

hijack - dizzy - FAQ's threatening to leave on chat - can you back me up a bit?

padboz · 27/03/2008 12:50

sorry, not chat www.mumsnet.com/Talk/9/502988?stamp=080327124852

cheerfulvicky · 27/03/2008 13:03

Ohh, don't really know FAQ but had a little read and hope the MNers who know her can give good support. You guys are lovely

dizzydixies · 27/03/2008 13:16

sazzles do you think it looks fitted?! am ordering it in the biggest size so its not - was hoping it would skim some of the lumps and bumps slightly!

anyone know where I can get the sexy spanx in the UK - won't I be bonnie with those and my tubi grip on

have found FAQ but I don't think I've helped

CaptainCaveman · 27/03/2008 13:20

Dizzy I don't get your Scottish clocks - surely if the clocks are going forwards it means instead of it getting light at 5.45am it will be 6.45am - which I think means it'll be darker later in the mornings?
Have I utterly missed the point here (wouldn't be surprising if I had)?

Shazza2002 · 27/03/2008 13:21

Those spanx are great.

Sazzles - I have a non pregnancy pair and with those there is a flap underneath that conveniantly opens as you sit on the loo. Great invention

Dizzy - Hadn't even thought about arse. This is top and trousers I'm planning to get for the wedding I'm going to. simplybeuk.drct2u.com/productcache/DAL/BO6400/RD321DX.html.gz

I know I won't look as glamourous as model but will cover the bits I need it too

dizzydixies · 27/03/2008 13:24

pmsl @ shazza and her classy toilet trips the simplybe link hasn't worked tell me which ones and I'll go and have a nosey though!

CC we're north of scotland so we'll start getting lighter earlier in the morning and darker late at night, which I love but know it will take me ages to convince the girls not to get up at 5.30!

have just put a fortune on the credit card knowing full well I'll do what I ALWAYS do an try it all on when it arrives, hate it and send it all back paying for the delivery and nothing else

dizzydixies · 27/03/2008 13:30

pretty top

I like this but its £48

do people think the minute you're knocked up that someone somewhere starts throwing money at you??!!!!??

Buckets · 27/03/2008 13:39

Congrats on more good scans peeps.
I've just walked 3.5m for some daft reason, am totally shattered (decided to wear 3" mules for the 1st time this year too as sun was out). No bump pains here btw, despite 2CSecs in last 5yrs.
It was DS's first day of autism assessment (will be a weekly 'play' session for next couple of months) and we got a taxi there this morning. Think we both really enjoyed ourselves! Forgot to work out the bus timetable in advance so ended up walking all the way home, munching packed lunch and having a couple of runarounds on the common. Will have to do some more bus research next week, can't keep this up.

Shazza2002 · 27/03/2008 13:41

Very pretty top. But I have fat arms too so can never wear anything too short sleeved. Have you all cottoned on to the fact I am fat aswell as PG

On Simply Be it's in the maternity section, Print Wrap Blouse in like the purple/pink stripe with the Ivory linen trousers.

Buckets · 27/03/2008 13:42

Couldn't help laughing at this £20 maternity scarf!

dizzydixies · 27/03/2008 13:45

buckets sit down and get you feet up for goodness sake woman! am very impressed

shazza am right there with you on the body desc. I'd managed to loose 2.5 stone last year but it somehow all crept back on just in time for me being pg again, and it wasn't anywhere near how much I HAD to loose

I still mentally dress myself in stuff I'd wear at uni when I was a size 12 - not so much in real life though lol

dizzydixies · 27/03/2008 13:47

buckets I know I saw that too

shazza thats a lovely top too - may be getting ordered as well

Buckets · 27/03/2008 13:49

This purple & black one's not too expensive, would sell well on Ebay afterwards. Am trying to decide how much I want to spend for BILs wedding in June.

dizzydixies · 27/03/2008 13:51

which one buckets the one with the colour block - it only opens up the main page sorry

Yup, the colour block one with hot pink underbust. BTW the black & white latina one is just like I wore on Saturday night, only mine was £8 in New Look mwahahaha. Don't think I'll be able to wear it again this pregnancy though, the bones were really quite pokey after a full plate of beef tacos.

ChaCha · 27/03/2008 13:57

Hello girls,
Sorry for being a stranger, today has been the first time in ages that i've been able to log onto MN and read/post.

How is everyone? Didn't see anything on this page from regulars i remember in days of more posting but am hoping that everyone is okay.

Our 20week scan is tomorrow and do hope we are able to find out b/g. The thought of a summer baby when out in garden earlier today watching boys play makes me feel v.happy - love the summer!

Love x

Buckets · 27/03/2008 13:59

I'm eating butterscotch banana cake, had a baking day yesterday. Made that and a chicken pie and then my new breadmachine arrived so I had to make bread too. DH sent me to bed at 7.30! No such luck tonight, I have a pre-school fundraising meeting here which I am apparently chairing suddenly (if anyone turns up that is).

dizzydixies · 27/03/2008 14:01

hi chacha we're all still here, its just that shazza, sazzles, buckets and I are trying to fix summer wedding outfit dilemas!!

good luck with scan tomorrow!

buckets its lovely but there are none in stock - I had a nosey to see what size it goes up to

TwilightSurfer · 27/03/2008 14:10

Okay i have just been totally embarrassed by DD who has suddenly taken to answering the phone whenever it rings. I was just washing up hands in the bathroom when she ran by me to answer the phone, telling the UNKNOWN lady on the other end that I was in the potty, pooping, and couldn't be disturbed !! I have no clue who called....
