Well with 2 days to go and no sign of Roo coming, I'm making the most of the being able to still go out without a baby bag, actually being able to go out, not having a baby permantely fixed to my breast and the house being quiet

Good luck to all those who are with me in the preggo stage.

Labour vibes to all.

congrats fortnight, scubamum and Potpourri. I'm shoving caullophylum into me now (homeopathic) and am going to try the reflexology tonight. Have loads of milk (which I don't usually get until birth) so am hoping he'll be early.

Trying to relax as well as apparently that helps!

Portly · 18/12/2004 15:30

Congratulations everyone so far, just to add myself, Hannah was born at 9am on Wed 15th Dec, 3 days early so am now back at home recovering! Good luck all those still waiting!
Portly xx

scubamum · 18/12/2004 17:00

more girls At this rate Fortnights' boy will have a lot of girls to choose from in years to come

big congrats to PP & Portly, and you already have names sorted. We still have not decided, but it has got down to the last few.

For those still waiting, we bumped into some one my DH worked with (on Tues night) and his wife a MW said she thought the best things were sweep &/or sex. To have the sweep (which I would have had Thurs) and have sex within an hr with me on all 4s. Sending labour vibes so your bundles of joy don't keep you waiting too long.

RonnieTinselBaby · 18/12/2004 22:44

Congrats PP & Portly.

My original date was 23rd Dec, so I think that is when mine is coming, DS was bang on his due date, so heres hoping

scubamum · 20/12/2004 11:46

we have finally decided on a name for our little angel - Amelia Gillian

PotPourri · 20/12/2004 14:32

Great news portly, and a lovely name choice scuba. Looking forward to you other girls telling us all about your arrivals! Hang in there - by the way, I second the suggestion about sweep and sex (if you can face it). My midwives swear they are the only things that really do work (not all the time of course - as my case proves )

hana · 20/12/2004 17:35

love your names, has made me start thinking seriously about names now!

I've just bought 2 nursing brs for £50. Oh my god!!!! Well 47.90 for the two. I'm in the wrong business I think. They are the bravado ones made in Canada, should ask mum to bring me some over, surely they must be cheaper there? Am skint now!

lilymum · 21/12/2004 14:05

Just to let you all know that I had a boy 1.36am on Sunday 19th, 8 days early. About to post details now on birth announcements.

Congrats Portly, on your wee girlie.

Portly · 21/12/2004 14:54

thanks Lilymum, congratulations to you too

Congrats Lilysmum, you lucky thing

JanH · 21/12/2004 21:23

ggglimpopo's daughter was born yesterday - Maude Eleanore Rose - 3.52kg. I can't believe she actually went slightly over in the end, after all her worries earlier in the year!

She is still without internet connection though. I'm sure she will be back with you just as soon as she can!

hana · 22/12/2004 09:36

JanH - pass on my congratulations to the latest December little girl and her mum! HOpe they're both doing really well and have a lovely Christmas!
