Is there a group for us mamas to be? If not, join one and all, let's get this started...

@decafforme oh wow! And from your other post, it looks like you're at the exact same stage as me - 9w 1d today right?Smile

WinsAndNeedles · 02/07/2021 20:45

7+3 (ish), sick as a dog and still not heard back from the community midwives. I bloody hate the first trimester! 🤮🤰🏼🥴🤐

Oh no! When did you contact them? I contacted them the day I found out I was pregnant and got a text through 2.5 weeks later Appointment next week at 7+3 ... But I think it's highly variable based on locality Sorry to hear you're being sick too! I have no sickness at 6+3 and making me a bit paranoid
MrsTwentyNine · 02/07/2021 20:53

@Sunshine8888
I know, I think it should all be down to individual choice anyway.

WinsAndNeedles · 02/07/2021 21:00

@MrsTwentyNine I contacted them last week but thought I'd have heard by now. I thought they normally did booking appointments by 8w and I explained that I'm not sure about my dates but it was all my online booking form. I'm going to have to call them on Monday because I can't even be sure that they got the form as there was no confirmation email. Bloody annoying.

Be glad you're not sick! I wasn't at all with my DS. Thinking this one must be another girl (maybe?).

MrsTwentyNine · 03/07/2021 11:39

@winsandneedles hope you get through monday and get an appt ASAP

Ladies when I wiped just now there was a bit of brown coloured discharge :( Is this normal for 6+4 ? I'm absolutely terrified now...

pusscous · 03/07/2021 13:17

Hi everyone!

Room for one more?

I tested positive on Monday, I'm currently 6+6, tomorrow 7 weeks. I had a feeling I was pregnant at four weeks when period was due but all I had was a bit of spotting which turned out to be implantation bleeding and then the night time were, fatigue, going off food, liking things I hate, and coughing/ gagging when something touches my throat and neck. I have a long history of miscarriages and if I test early I typically end up miscarrying- 4 miscarriages before my first daughter, then 10 or more trying to conceive my second daughter who ended up being an ivf baby then this one was all natural. All the stretching in the tummy area makes me very paranoid and I'm still expecting to see blood when I wipe

decafforme · 03/07/2021 20:47

@MrsTwentyNine on my last pregnancy I had a bit of brown blood on wiping at 9 weeks and everything is fine. Brown blood is old so hopefully all ok but it's such a worrying time you can't help your mind racing can you.

decafforme · 03/07/2021 20:47

@Trinacham yes! ☺️ 9+2 today and due on my birthday!! Ha

MrsTwentyNine · 03/07/2021 22:14

@decafforme thank you for that! ❤️ Yes it's only when wiping and it's always brown / light brown so I'm hoping it goes away. Such a scary time especially as it's my first.
I'm glad I booked the private scan at 8 weeks now just for my anxiety.

WinsAndNeedles · 05/07/2021 12:28

I'm so bloated I've had to dig out some maternity leggings today. Still nothing from community midwife and just getting the answer phone when I call. Officially 6+6 but more likely to be nearly 8 unless my dates are really out! I honestly look about 6m

@MrsTwentyNine how are you doing? Has your spotting stopping? I had it in my first trimester last time and all was well. Fx

decafforme · 05/07/2021 19:48

@MrsTwentyNine when is your scan? It is such a worrying time!

MrsTwentyNine · 05/07/2021 23:00

@WinsAndNeedles @decafforme I don't want to post on here and worry you ladies. But it's bad news for me. I am having a scan to confirm the bad news Wednesday. I wish all you ladies the best ❤️ Thank you for the company so far.

mummyh2016 · 10/07/2021 08:13

Is there a fb group for us due in jan/feb? I did join the winter one but then a lot were due early December so couldn't really see the point.

decafforme · 10/07/2021 18:19

How are people getting on? I'm 10 weeks and have noticed my sickness has died down a lot. I couldn't drink watEr without tiny sips at one point otherwise it would say me off. Now it seems to be mainly if I leave it to long to eat.

How's everyone else's?

Trinacham · 10/07/2021 20:14

I was sick for the first time yesterday (I'm 10w 2d) still not actually sure it was pregnancy sick though, as I'm suffering from a cold and coughing a lot. I guess I'm not usually sick when I cough so I'm taking it as my first pregnancy sickness!
Definitely feel pregnant for the first time now though. Stretching pains, stomach constantly big (I suffered with bloat before, so I can tell this is different) and just feel so tired.

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 10/07/2021 22:17

@decafforme I'm ten weeks in a couple of days, and have noticed the last day or two my symptoms have reduced quite a lot as well, and I managed to eat a healthy lunch today. I'm hoping its because the placenta is taking over and producing the hormones and because we're past the nine week hcg peak

decafforme · 11/07/2021 09:07

Fx that's what it is yes and we're moving away from the sickness, it lasted until 14 weeks with dc1 so it's very welcome if so but even then I do remember it tailing off to just the odd time. I had a scan last week showing healthily little one otherwise my anxiety would be through the roof no doubt! X

decafforme · 11/07/2021 09:09

Has anyone had both vaccines in the first trimester here? I'm due my second this week coming. Had my first must have been around 4-5 weeks but wasn't aware I was pregnant when I had it.
