Yes, me! Not due on for 2 days but had fairly decent BFP today and yesterday.

Very excited but trying to play it cool. It’ll be my second.

How are you feeling @FayeMiM?

Due on the 4th here, too. Our DS is 4 years old now and would be 5 by then. We lost the last one last summer due to an ectopic pregnancy, so I'm rather apprehensive. I've got an appointment with my gynaecologist next week...hope it's managed to settle in the right place.

@Missingcoffee22 what a coincidence 😂

How long have you been ttc for baby no2?

We’ve been trying for 4/5 months. I was certain it wouldn’t happen this month as we only dtd once and I never got a positive opk either

Giraffe888 · 30/04/2021 19:46

@Fuzzyspringroll great to have another due date buddy!

Sorry to hear you had an ectopic. Fingers crossed this one is in the right place and all ok xx

@Giraffe888 so we were ntnp for a couple of months last year, then decided to go for it this year so 3 months. Very lucky I know.

Funnily enough similar here. We almost didn't try this month, as I had a bit of a wobble and also my birthday is Jan 4th and my husband's the 8th! But when I got a positive opk I thought I can't let the chance pass me by and so here we are, fingers crossed!

Welcome @Drl94 and congratulations!

There’s quite a few of us now. Do any of you have any symptoms yet?

For those of you who are on your second or more pregnancy, when do I need to get DS to start being careful around my tummy? Also, am I still ok to carry him in his carrier? We use it for long walks

Drl94 · 01/05/2021 07:15

No symptoms at all @Giraffe888, but I don't want to get too happy as I know they'll start soon 🙃🙃. Congrats to you too also x

Congratulations @Drl94!

@Giraffe888 I feel like I'm beginning to get nausea but could be in my head.

There is another group on the pregnancy board with a lot of Jan due dates too. If only we could merge 😂

@Giraffe888 in pregnancy threads it is called due 1st January I think

I've told DS but that's because I had to pick him up from nursery during breakfast. His teacher assumed it was due to a positive Covid case in my class but nope...slightly different positive case. Now I'm sitting at home until I've been cleared by occupational health...or condemned to stay off work until after my maternity leave.
Of course, it could turn out next week that it's ectopic again and then this whole situation will be over quickly. I hope it's in the right place, though. My tests have been blazingly positive, which never happened with my failed pregnancies.
Also had nausea for about three days now but nothing bad. Had the same with DS.

I know it’s early days, but how is everyone feeling? I still feel like I’m going to get my period! My last pregnancy was 4 years ago, and I can’t remember how I felt. I suffered with sickness but I think it was from about 6 weeks

Hello, Can I join in please? I've been umm-ing and ah-ing over it was a chemical pregnancy, as the test lines were so faint, but I tested again this morning, 7 days after AF due and its much stronger line so guessI'm pregnant!

Very excited, but surprised, I'm almost 40, fat and assumed we'd be trying for months. This is our first proper month TTC so we've been very lucky. Got my mirena out last Nov, but had various issues and we had to go back to using protection as I got a needlestick injury at work, but got back to trying as soon as I was given the all clear. We already have DS who is just over 2.5 years. NHS calculator giving my due date, if it all works out, at the 5th of Jan.

I'm feeling really good actually, was very tired last night, but it was a really busy day with DS so not surprising really. How is everyone else doing?

Fuzzyspringroll · 04/05/2021 15:11

Got my first appointment tomorrow... worried and excited at the same time. Worried, mostly, though. I hope it isn't ectopic again.
Symptoms-wise, I feel really nauseous. I don't have to vomit but do feel queasy for most of the day. It's probably good that I've been signed off work for now. I haven't felt this sick with any of my other pregnancies. Chamomile tea and toast seem to help.
