Hello All

I know this is very early but who has had their BFP and has worked out they may be due in Jan 2022?

If anyone is in their final few weeks of pregnancy and wants to join a Facebook group, I’ve just started one (after really struggling to get accepted into any myself!)

Hope you’re all doing wonderfully Flowers

Is anyone struggling with nappy rash? My little one has had his for somewhere between 4-7 days now. Tried sudocream, tried metanium (and dabbing breastmilk on too as saw this tip somewhere) - neither seem to be making any difference. Dr seemed to be saying I was doing what I should be but has prescribed some different creams to try. Chemist will have one of them in stock tomorrow but the other one they've stopped doing! I'm not feeling optimistic that the creams will work 😕
Baby poops a lot so the Dr and I both think this is why the rash has happened.. it never has time to heal before the next poop! I don't record how many he does but I'll often change one nappy then he's already doing another! He's constantly going. I am EBF him and he's feeding little and often so maybe this is why he's pooping so much!
I just want to fix it for him as it it is so red and raw looking 😩

@Trinacham my little one is the same, always pooping! I have found bepanthen very effective

@DoctorBambino I have some bepanthen so I'll try that next I think. Have applied Daktarin (anti fungal) prescribed by doctor 3 times now, got to do it twice a day for 7 days. 🤞 it works! I know nappy off time is supposed to help too, so trying to do this more and for longer (trouble is he hates being nude!)

How's everyone doing?

Nappy rash has been very slow to go here but is on its way out. The fungal cream that the doctor prescribed did nothing and the rash actually got worse so we went back after a few days. This time we were prescribed a steroid cream. Again, seemed like it wasn't going to go. I cut out dairy on 21st February as we wondered if baby had an intolerance that was making him go often (he was pooping constantly - straight after a nappy change he'd do another!) and causing acid burns on his bottom. Ever since his bottom has been healing. I never thought it would be an intolerance as the rash is the only symptom, and going often. He's never uncomfortable, burps and farts easy and is a happy baby, but it looks as though that may have been it! My nephew had CMPA so perhaps it runs in the family. Glad to be at the end or it now, 2 weeks later!

Hope all babies are doing OK! Think we are reaching the first leap here as baby has been feeding constantly tonight. He has started smiling which is soo amazing!
