Yeah I think my first is a special breed 😂 That's what I've heard about the second. I'm hoping its true!

KLR2019 · 09/03/2021 16:14

@Whuut does your cramping come and go and feels like a period pain but not as bad more like a dull pain?

I’ve found that my symptoms come and go sometimes worse somethings nothing just can’t wait to get through the first 12 weeks seems like forever though xx

Mine are like this. I have a dull ache in the bottom of my back, like period pains. And often in my tummy too - in particular on the right side, but left and centre too. I hope it's just stretching!

Whuut · 09/03/2021 21:11

Yeah mine is pretty similar. It's a weird stage this first bit as you dont really feel pregnant. I keep thinking I'll go to the loo and AF will have arrived!

Jax27 · 09/03/2021 21:14

@AthersB I completed the form last Tuesday and had my midwife call last night to book my first appointment for 13th April. X

AthersB · 10/03/2021 07:03

Morning, I've just done another FRER with fmu and it seems fainter than yesterday's 😔

The 10dpo and 11dpo were both done in the afternoon and the 12dpo with FMU. I've not got any symptoms apart from a slight pulling and twinges towards my pelvis.

Feeling a little bit downhearted, has anyone had similar?

Whuut · 10/03/2021 07:27

@AthersB I dont have experience of it myself but those are clear lines! I guess maybe just wait a day or 2 and test again. When is/was AF due?

mrssunshinexxx · 10/03/2021 07:35

@AthersB leave for 48 hours then do another your levels double every 48 hours x

OP posts:
AthersB · 10/03/2021 07:35

@Whuut AF not due until Friday 😌

DizSquiz · 10/03/2021 07:53

I honestly don't recommend testing daily, 1, it's a lot of money, and 2 it can completely stress one out, the HCG doubles every 48 so test every other day x

@AthersB the 12dpo line is a bit odd as it's quite dark at the bottom of line- FRER lines usually look more even. So possibly an anomaly/faulty test. I would NOT read into this.

Some ladies get their BFP on FMU, others later in the day. Regardless, over testing and analysing an already pretty convincing line isn't going to help!

You have a very strong BFP from 11dpo. Take it!

If it was a chemical I think it would be fainter line

If it's an early MC, then your HCG may still be up for quite some time before it gradually comes down, not the next day- I am speaking from experience.

Congratulations on your BFP 😊

Hello, glad to join this thread! I'm actually due at the v end of October but haaaated being the last to give birth in my last group so I hope you don't mind if I join this one?

I'm currently 7 weeks, had a rocky start with bleeding but saw a heartbeat last week. I've had 4 MMC and 1 successful pregnancy and it's such a worrying time.

Congrats everyone!

mrssunshinexxx · 11/03/2021 07:58

Welcome @letshopethisonesticks no we don't mind Grin some people might end up late Oct with c sections or inductions. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy x

@MissDaniB @Whuut

Glad we all have similar symptoms, I just can’t wait for these next 12 weeks your right it does proper drag!

I have my booking appointment a week today over the phone but am so excited means things are real xx

C20S20G · 11/03/2021 22:04

Can I also join? ☺️ I got my BFP on March 2nd at 9dpo! It’s my first pregnancy and we had been trying nearly a year so we are so happy!
Having really bad period like pains at the moment and “lightening crotch” as they call it on here (I’m a mumsnet obsessor) so I am stressing a bit!
Have an appointment on Monday so praying all ok but wanted to join you all on the journey ☺️

Whuut · 12/03/2021 06:20

@KLR2019 Yeah it can really drag! Is this your first? This time round I'm working full time and have a toddler so I have a feeling it's going to fly by!

@C20S20G1 Welcome and congratulations! You must be so excited after a year of trying! Dont stress too much, I've been having lots of period like cramps and I keep trying to remember if I had this with my first. It's funny how quickly you forgot it all 😅

mrssunshinexxx · 12/03/2021 07:59

@Whuut I feel like it will go fast for me after the 12 week scan . We are having building work done and I have a baby!

OP posts:
Whuut · 12/03/2021 13:57

@mrssunshinexxx Oh god that must be a bit mad! I also think after the first scan it will go super quick. Right now I'm so focused on not telling anyone and trying to act normal 😂

mrssunshinexxx · 12/03/2021 15:04

Haha same @Whuut want to keep quiet as long as poss

OP posts:
Whuut · 12/03/2021 18:45

@@mrssunshinexxx Me too. Especially from work. Although, with this bloating at the moment, I already look about 4 months pregnant!

Hows everyone else feeling? I'm finding myself so short tempered, poor DP! Also DS is super clingy with me which is difficult sometimes, this evening has been a mission trying to cook with him shouting mummy at me the whole time. Had to swap with DP, I didnt mind too much though ha!

MissDaniB · 12/03/2021 18:49

I've still not heard anything from the midwife team re appointments etc. I don't know how long it should take 😂 just going to book an early scan so I can see if there's a heartbeat.

xRRx · 12/03/2021 19:13

@Whuut don't get me started on the bloatedness. It's been so bad this week and my diet has been good! Feeling so conscious about it 😂

Trying to keep pregnancy quiet (aside from parents) until 12 weeks 🤞🏻

mrssunshinexxx · 12/03/2021 19:43

@MissDaniB mine got back to me about 3 hours later to book me in

OP posts:
mrssunshinexxx · 12/03/2021 19:44

@Whuut yeh feeling very up and down and have an 8 month old so I am exhausted literally getting into bed as soon as she does every night house is a shit tip due to building work but upstairs should be done in about 10 days so I'll get straight again after that!

OP posts:
Whuut · 12/03/2021 20:02

@MissDaniB I referred myself last week and had an email to just check something as I'd entered wrong address. But still havent heard anything about a booking appt. It's usually between 8-10 weeks the first one. If you dont feel you can wait until then then definitely go for an early scan. My friend recently did the same as her anxiety was really high- it helped a lot.

@xRRx Oh I know it's crazy isnt it! I honestly look the same as I did with DS at about 16 weeks 🤦‍♀️ I'm hoping it will go down before the proper bumps comes!

@mrssunshinexxx Bless you, you must be knackered. 8 months is still so little! I'm with you on the tiredness front. Cant seem to stay up past about 9pm at the very latest atm. Should definitely help when the house is sorted. We recently moved and until the other day the place was a tip! It really throws me off having it too much of a mess.
