Ladies who have had previous pregnancy experiences, how did you go in terms of nausea/sickness?

I had none before my MMC, and I'm sort of hoping for some this time for reassurance!

What week would you expect it to start, and to what extent? I've had a spell of slight nausea today but thinking it could be a mild migraine as I've had a slight headache too.

mrssunshinexxx · 02/03/2021 19:24

From memory from ish week 6-14 very nauseous but never sick but I really hope I get none this time @xRRx

Thanks @mrssunshinexxx hoping you don't get it as bad this time. But if you do I suppose it's a good sign!

slkh · 03/03/2021 20:57

I'm going to try find the Facebook group so hopefully see you there! I've felt nauseous, exhausted and starving for the last 2 weeks. I was sick almost every day with my first but usually just the once in the morning, with my second I was almost hospitalised as I couldn't keep anything down, luckily managed it with meds! Fingers crossed I don't feel like that again.

DizSquiz · 03/03/2021 21:49

Hi all, can I tentatively join? Got BFP but AF not due till 6th so still quite early.

Congratulations to all x

KLR2019 · 04/03/2021 16:19

@DizSquiz congrats on your BFP. Let’s hope we all have sticky beans!

Have you had and symptoms or anything yet?

DizSquiz · 04/03/2021 16:23

@KLR2019 hey I have had some yes

I had what I believe to be implantation bleed Sunday evening followed by sore breasts, headache, pulling/poking/tugs, very light occasional cramping (doesn't last long at all)

How about you?

MissDaniB · 04/03/2021 20:26

Hello everyone! My first post ☺️
Took a test today and it’s positive! Looks like I’m due on the 10th of November. Excited but feeling a tad overwhelmed and worried as it’s so early xx

DizSquiz · 04/03/2021 22:20

So gutted but I think my AF is coming. Have had light brown spotting.

Gutted as have had consistently positive tests. So confused

mrssunshinexxx · 05/03/2021 07:03

Have you done another test @DizSquiz

DizSquiz · 05/03/2021 08:09

@mrssunshinexxx hey yes, I've attached pic. Still positive but I know that doesn't mean much right now as I'm sure af is coming. Am unsure how long it takes for HCG to drop again x

xRRx · 05/03/2021 10:34

@DizSquiz has the spotting continued? Have you had any bright red AF bleeding yet?

I know it can feel like AF coming but symptoms of early pregnancy can be similar.

Your test this morning is obviously positive but if it was a chemical I've just googled and it can take a week for HCG to go back to zero.

I really hope it's your body playing tricks as that line is pretty solid!

DizSquiz · 05/03/2021 11:12

@xRRx yeah spotting is continuing. I doubt I'll get AF blood until tomorrow

I'd love to hope that my body is playing tricks on me, but unfortunately I've lost my extremely sore boobs - which was one of my main symptoms x

xRRx · 05/03/2021 11:24

@DizSquiz fingers crossed for you 🙏🏻🤞🏻

DizSquiz · 05/03/2021 14:19

@xRRx hey , I took another FRER today (afternoon urine) as my afternoon ones go better than fmu. I've attached a pic .. top one is from just now

Is anyone able to give me their thoughts on this? The line today has gotten stronger than previous, still very light brown cm. am unsure what's going on

MissDaniB · 05/03/2021 15:35

Truthfully, I think you are just going to wait it out. I know it’s horrible but it’s impossible to tell :(

KLR2019 · 05/03/2021 16:07

@DizSquiz same due date as me! 🎉🎉

I had spotting 5 days before my period was due only reason I new it wasn’t my period because it was very very pale brown more like discharge this was around my predicted implantation date it stopped 4 days before my period was due

Am testing every day still and my lines are getting darker and darker 🤞🏼 I read online if you are going to compare lines test the same time and use the same brand this is what I have been doing xxx

KLR2019 · 05/03/2021 16:08

@MissDaniByour due dates is the same as mine!🎉🎉🎉

Congrats everyone on their BFP, let’s all hope for sticky babies for us all xxx

xRRx · 05/03/2021 16:18

@DizSquiz the line is getting darker and doesn't look typical of chemicals I've seen other ladies post. So your HCG level is rising. But I agree you're going to have to wait it out. If AF doesn't make an appearance you might want to get a private early viability scan at 6 weeks.

Measuring HCG levels with a pregnancy test is just that. It doesn't prove viability. Brown spotting could be an absolutely normal part of it all.

I wish I could be more help I know this must feel so confusing

MissDaniB · 05/03/2021 17:32

Keeping everything crossed for sticky babies!! ❤️

LikeSomeKindOfMadness · 06/03/2021 06:05

@DizSquiz I'm keeping everything crossed for you!

I have done a couple more tests the last few days. FRER now has a test line darker than the control line. Did the clear blue one today and it said 3+ so that's further than earlier this week which is good, then it was 2 to 3.
According to the NHS due date calculator I'm only 4 weeks pregnant but I think I might be slightly further then. Could easily be the case with the irregular cycles. Does 3+ mean at least 5 weeks?

xRRx · 06/03/2021 07:17

@LikeSomeKindOfMadness
CB digital dates from conception, rather than last period

LikeSomeKindOfMadness · 06/03/2021 07:41

Yes that's why I was thinking it doesn't quite marry up. If the test is 3plus I may be more like 5+ weeks. But the NHS due date calculator says 4. I guess a week doesn't make much difference right?

mrssunshinexxx · 06/03/2021 07:45

Did many people on here join the fb group for due in nov on the due in nov thread on pregnancy board ? It's really helpful x
