Not long now ladies how are we all getting on??

Frrreyarose · 03/08/2021 21:43

How is everyone doing? I’m 31 weeks and feeling fine, if a bit big and tired! Chasing after my two year old is taking its toll a little but her energy is also keeping me going!
Anyone starting to think about packing a hospital bag soon??!

Tipptopgirl · 03/08/2021 21:58

Im 35 weeks! Started my hospital bag the other day. How is everyone??

LittleAurora · 05/08/2021 20:28

this is baby number 5 and I'm 33weeks and totally ready for baby! I'm hoping for a sweep at 37 weeks.
Planning a home birth (first) so trying to distract myself planning for that.

Tipptopgirl · 05/08/2021 20:46

@Tipptopgirl I'm NI and apparently according to the community midwife the number of home births have exploded up here !!
Tipptopgirl · 06/08/2021 12:14

@LittleAurora i bet actually yes over covid. How have your appointments been with restrictions? Our local hospital announced yesterday that its had to go strict again 😭 birth partners only allowed in once in active labour, so if im induced like they mentioned if baby is big like my last they will want to take that route and so that means il be induced ALONE 😭😭😭 its just not fair.

@Tipptopgirl the Ulster is only allowing during active labour as well. And 1hr on maternity ward post birth for partners. Appointments have not been too bad but I've not seen my community midwife properly. Just once to talk over the home birth. It's all abit crazy and tbh I'm so over it, just want baby here now.

LittleAurora · 09/08/2021 20:18

33+4 weeks now and I'm pure exhausted. The heartburn is unreal I can barely eat, not that I want to, I am just not hungry. Anyone else the same?

Tipptopgirl · 09/08/2021 20:27

@LittleAurora yes same as here, 1 hour post birth.. which makes no sense at all!
Im 36 weeks tomorrow and in for a scan so I'm very excited for that 😁 cant wait to see what babys estimated weight is.

How much did everyones baby roughly weigh at 32 weeks? Mine was 4lb 6oz

LittleAurora · 09/08/2021 20:54

@Tipptopgirl my wee man weighted 4lbs at 31weeks
Looking forward to the next growth scan. I feel so heavy now

Tipptopgirl · 10/08/2021 10:54

@LittleAurora ok cool so mine isnt on the big side! Really makes me think im having a girl lol were having a surprise and its sooo exciting waiting to know. Every scan Im very forward with saying dont tell me the gender šŸ˜‚ when is your next scan?

LittleAurora · 10/08/2021 14:31

@Tipptopgirl next scan is 25th August! I'm very excited to have a wee peep at him again ā¤ļø

Tipptopgirl · 10/08/2021 18:25

Wow ok had my 36 week scan.. baby is roughly 7lb 7oz!!! Im back in 2 weeks to have another scan and they said I will more than likely be induced that week 😱

LittleAurora · 11/08/2021 10:15

@Tipptopgirl wow great weight already! How are you feeling about induction?

Tipptopgirl · 11/08/2021 10:54

@LittleAurora feeling pretty chill about it because iv been induced before.. however I would love to go into labour myself but its unlikely at 38 weeks - for me anyway iv always gone over 40 weeks, 1st baby was 40+3 and 2nd I was induced at 40+6 so šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Il have to be alone getting it done but then when I can walk around to get things going il go outside to hubby and walk with him between checks šŸ¤ž but I will be asking if he can pleeeeease be with me for all of it.

I have my repeat anomaly scan in 2 days to double check one of babys kidneys so prayers please that all is ok šŸ™šŸ™šŸ’—
