Hi all 👋🏻

Here's a new thread so we can keep chatting through the sleepless nights and the many outfits they've already grown out of... 😄

@ShiningStarz how did your 20 week scan go?

I'm on cycle 7, 11dpo and got my BFP at 9dpo! Praying that this is a sticky one 🤞.

ShiningStarz · 18/04/2022 20:31

Ahhhh Amazing @Chanel05 so pleased for you, sending a virtual hug. My fingers and toes are crossed for you.
20 week scan is this Wednesday. I had an 18 week scan 2 weeks ago and all was good so hopefully all be good on Wednesday too 🤞🤞

Butterflytulip · 26/04/2022 21:04

@Chanel05 how are you? Did you get the thyroid sorted?

Butterflytulip · 27/04/2022 20:16

@Chanel05 it's shining starz here just had to do a new profile and new name cause I couldn't log in !!

Butterflytulip · 02/05/2022 20:48

@Chanel05 all ok?

Chanel05 · 03/05/2022 07:42

@Butterflytulip sorry for the radio silence! I've been in the throes of morning sickness since I hit 5 weeks (6 weeks today) and it's SO much harder when you have a toddler to entertain isn't it?! Weather has been awful so she's spent the vast majority of the week kicking off about the fact we haven't played in the garden 😂.

I had a private appointment in the end with a specialist and he said with my levels as they are I don't need to be medicated, though I'm having a blood test today and in two weeks to see any changes.

How did your 20 week scan go?

Butterflytulip · 03/05/2022 07:59

@Chanel05 oh no don't worry, iv just been thinking of you. That's great news about the thyroid. Glad you are being looked after as it's so important for it to be where it needs to be at. Yes a toddler and pregnancy isn't easy!!! Haha but I'm sure I'm about 5 years time it'll all be worth it 🙈🙈 keep in touch xx

Chanel05 · 21/06/2022 14:47

@Butterflytulip how are you getting on? I'm almost 14 weeks now! Dating scan was last week and have the gender scan booked for 9th July!

Butterflytulip · 25/06/2022 21:32

@Chanel05 ahh brill so pleased for you.
I'm almost 30 weeks! Can't believe how much faster it's going second time round. Clearly something to do with having a toddler to look after 😂😂

Margo34 · 26/08/2022 12:39

@Butterflytulip how are you doing? Must be coming up baby time for you by now? Eeeek good luck!

Butterflytulip · 26/08/2022 16:48

Hi @Margo34 yep next week!! How are you?
@Chanel05 how are you getting on?

Margo34 · 26/08/2022 17:56

I'm ok thank you. I'm in the first trimester for the 3rd time this year, feeling optimistic 🤞

Good luck with your birth hope it all goes smoothly for you!

Chanel05 · 26/08/2022 18:05

@Margo34 hope this is a sticky one for you 🤞.

@Butterflytulip how exciting! How are you feeling? Are you feeling early/ late? I'm 23+1 today with a little boy! It seems to be flying by this time. I might be having an elective section this time so I can't get it out of my head that 40 weeks isn't my date to aim for.

Butterflytulip · 26/08/2022 19:12

Lots of luck @Margo34 I really hope this little one sticks ❤️🤞🤞

@Chanel05 I have went for an elective c section this time too. 39 weeks is my date and that's next week!! Can't believe this time next week I'll have 2 babies under 2!!! Crazy. Hope you are feeling ok? When is your due date? You'll prob get your c sec date soon xx

Butterflytulip · 26/08/2022 19:21

@Chanel05 a boy too!! Congrats. Ours is a surprise !!

Margo34 · 26/08/2022 22:15

Thanks ladies I'm cautiously optimistic with a little help from progresterone this time so 🤞

It must be a nice thought to know exactly when your baby is going to arrive, I found the wait and uncertainty last time quite stressful!

Butterflytulip · 26/08/2022 22:19

@Margo34 I'm crossing everything for you. Keep in touch xx

Butterflytulip · 02/09/2022 07:01

Baby girl number 2 arrived yesterday!! Feel incredibly blessed 💖

Chanel05 · 02/09/2022 14:37

@Butterflytulip congratulations! Hope you and baby girl are recovering well!!!

Margo34 · 02/09/2022 22:15

@Butterflytulip ahhhh congratulations 😍 Enjoy the newborn snuggles and wishing you a speedy recovery!

Chanel05 · 07/10/2022 13:11

@Butterflytulip how are things with your little ones? You must be 6 weeks into newborn life again! Are you managing more sleep yet? How's your section recovery been?

I'm 29+1 and after a lot of back and forth I've decided on an elcs after my last emergency. Bit disappointing as I'd like vbac but my dh is so traumatised from theatre last time that I just can't risk it.

@Margo34 how are things with you?

Margo34 · 10/10/2022 20:55

@Chanel05 I'm doing ok, the little bean is sticking! I'm just over 13w now, had my first scan and all is well. Slightly anxious now about coming off progresterone now but then there's always something new to be anxious about in pregnancy l suppose isn't there!?

How are you feeling in your 3rd trimester now, birth plans aside? I can imagine why that would be disappointing but also see from your DH perspective too. Tough decision to make with totally valid reasons for each. Whichever way your birth goes, as long as baby arrives safely and well that's the most important thing ☺️🙏

@Butterflytulip hope you're doing well ☺️

Butterflytulip · 10/10/2022 22:18

Hi @Chanel05 yeah almost 6 weeks! It's hectic with 2, I'll not lie!! Amazing too. C section recovery has been better than the first time. Definitely nicer not we aren't in strict lockdown, just feels like there's so much more support and also seeing friends family and making new friends which I can't wait to do at some baby groups! ELCS is so calm and lovely. You don't have long to do whoop 🥰

@Margo34 congrats that's wonderful news. After certain point your placenta takes over so don't worry about the progesterone. It prob wouldn't do any harm if you continued it anyway if you felt better about it 😊

Margo34 · 11/10/2022 13:12

@Butterflytulip I'm reducing gradually just for peace of mind, another week and I'll have stopped them completely.

@Margo34 how's your pregnancy going?

@Butterflytulip how old is littlest baby now? Do you feel more settled into a routine?

I'm 35+5 today! ELCS has been booked for 40+0!
