Anyone else out there?! Very excited but super early days so haven’t got anyone else to share this news with!

@FurBabyMum02 my symptoms didn’t start until 6 weeks. Try not to worry x

BurningBenches · 13/10/2020 11:19

Hi
Hope it's ok to join. I'm 5+3 with number 5. Number 4 is just 1.

@FurBabyMum02 I just hopped on to say, I have no symptoms right now but actually in all 4 previous, I only had MS with #4, the other 3 nothing until later on.

If anything my period feels like it will arrive (slightly crampy emotional and increased cm) but again that's happened with my others too.

FurBabyMum02 · 13/10/2020 12:42

@burningbenches congratulations on number 5! This will be our first sticky bean fingers crossed so think I'm a bit paranoid

MotherOfCrocodiles · 13/10/2020 17:21

Ah working mummy I think I may try that soon. Does it do anything for nausea? I'm not being sick (yet) but feel nauseous and headachy like there is toxic waste in my brain. And faint. Had horrible sickness with my first one (second was less bad) but I didn't get drugs for it because nasty midwife made me feel bad about it. Should be more assertive this time!

MotherOfCrocodiles · 13/10/2020 17:23

Fur baby I felt fine at 5 weeks and now feel like hell at 7 weeks, I think it is usual to start later with symptoms. Fingers crossed for you this time

Pbbananabagel · 13/10/2020 20:39

Hello can I join please,
Just found out yesterday I’m approx 4+6 with baby number 2! Currently trying to wean my pfb 15 month old off the last night feed, feeling a little overwhelmed but very happy and need to share this!

Charalfienancy · 13/10/2020 20:43

Hey
I had my coil out end of August and had a little period on the 6th September and now pregnant 😊 really happy and excited. I have a boy 8 and girl 6 who I can't wait to tell 😊😊 it's so hard keeping it quiet ❤️ my due date is 13th June 2021... Have my first scan on the 21st October 😊

binkybunny · 13/10/2020 20:49

Hi, tentively joining after a surprise positive yesterday. This will be baby 3 and we had decided we were done with 2! I had a MC before DD2 at 6 weeks so even though it's not planned I also do not want to lose another.

binkybunny · 13/10/2020 20:53

@furbabymum02 I am exactly the same, I'm about 5 weeks and no real symptoms. I have also MC at 6 weeks so feel very nervous. I've had lots of stomach cramps too. But... my last pregnancy I only got symtoms at 6 weeks and MS hit pretty hard, the day I had a 22 hours flight/ stop over from South Africa.

FurBabyMum02 · 13/10/2020 21:59

@binkybunny glad its not just me worrying so early on! I almost want to feel rly ill then at least I know things are going in the right direction.
@charalfienancy that my due date aswell ! According to the online calculator anyway. End of Oct is quite early for a scan isn't it? I called my local midwife and they won't even make the booking appt for 2 weeks yet let alone book a scan.

KJ1984 · 14/10/2020 04:29

Tentatively joining too, current due date is calculating as 13th June. Absolutely exhausted as I have a 13 month old who still wakes 4-5 times a night, wants to latch on for hours at night and feeds anywhere between 5-500 times during the day! Trying to gently wean but not having much luck. Looks like I’ll be tandem feeding and surviving on 4 hours sleep at night for the next year or so! 😫

Charalfienancy · 14/10/2020 07:07

@FurBabyMum02 yes it's a early scan as I was getting really unusual pains in my sides. Didn't really have any symptoms with my previous 2 pregnancys but getting alot of cramps and pains this time round. So they just want to check everything is ok 😊♥️

FurBabyMum02 · 14/10/2020 09:00

@KJ1984 same due date again! Will be interesting to see what they are after the dating scans. Sounds like your going to need a good coffee stash but it will all be worth it!
@Charalfienancy Ah that makes sense, fingers crossed everything goes well for you then. Weve been thinking about booking an early scan as well so I stop worrying a little, will see what happens and the booking apt and over the next few weeks if I start to get symptoms i suppose.

Charalfienancy · 14/10/2020 20:28

@FurBabyMum02 thankyou im sure all is fine ♥️ I didn't really have no symptoms with my first 2 but have so much this time round, I'm also really showing at only 5 weeks 😱 we should keep in touch ! Same due dates 😊❤️

FurBabyMum02 · 14/10/2020 21:36

@charalfienancy yes let's! Can't believe ur showing already? They do say that happens more after the first but that's so early. Do keep us updated on the scan. I'm counting the days till I can make my booking appt

binkybunny · 15/10/2020 07:12

I'm already feeling a bit chunky around my waist but I think that's more to do with less exercise as I've been so tired and more eating because I've been really hungry. I thought it was just because it was getting colder but no it's because I am growing a human being!

binkybunny · 15/10/2020 07:14

Is anyone else an older mum? I'm going to be 40 a month after the baby is due and feeling really old to be going through it all again. Also, anyone have 3 kids already? How do you cope when you are outnumbered children to adults? The practical side of having 3 is really scaring me. We will probably need to move house and we definitely need a new car!

BurningBenches · 15/10/2020 07:38

@binkybunny yeah I'm 41.

I had my youngest last summer after a longish time trying but my others are older (20,10,9). This #5 is a bit of a surprise but I guess I'm back/still in the baby years.

I think whilst they do outnumber us, because the gaps are great it's more like having 1+2+1 than 4. If that makes sense at all? How old are yours?

BurningBenches · 15/10/2020 07:41

Oh and we had a normal car 5 seater car because the eldest has moved out and the others didn't need seats. But we will have to now.

binkybunny · 15/10/2020 08:29

Mine are almost 6 and almost 2, so the eldest is quite independent but still fairly young

MotherOfCrocodiles · 15/10/2020 11:06

Hi @binkybunny, mine is due just after my 40th birthday and is also my third (the others will be 4 and 2).

How do you find the gap between your 6 and 2 year old? Do they play together? I'm hoping mine will want to play together when old enough but wondered if a 4 year gap between 1 and 3 is a lot...? Or maybe it's better than a 2-year gaps as the older one is more mature and less likely to lash out at the little one when they are annoying...?

KJ1984 · 15/10/2020 12:14

I’m 35 so technically a geriatric mum now! 😂 will be 36 by the time this one arrives. There’ll be a 21 month age gap between my two, I’m currently debating whether I’ll need a double buggy or not!

BurningBenches · 15/10/2020 12:50

@kj1984 there is going to be 22m between mine. I will definitely be getting one. DS is a fab walker but I think doubles are great. I had one for 2&3 although the gap was smaller and I loves it when I could get a double nap out of them. I doubt DS will be napping at 22m though.

I will try and pick up a second hand baby jogger double as that's what I had last time.

BurningBenches · 15/10/2020 12:51

Loved it not loves it Blush

KJ1984 · 15/10/2020 13:51

Yes I think I’m going to see if I can pick one up second hand, and sell my single one on. It would be great to get a double nap out of it as well as DD1 will only nap in the buggy!
