I'm so sorry to hear that, missed miscarriages seem emotionally brutal. I've had a few friends who have had them so although I can't understand what you're going through, I have watched others go through the same pain and it's heartbreaking x

BurningBenches · 28/10/2020 09:14

@KJ1984 so sorry to hear this. Xx

Mishmased · 28/10/2020 10:36

@KJ1984 I'm so sorryThanks

Sitchervice · 28/10/2020 15:46

Hi can I join. Nervous new mummy here. Already had two scans for bleeding and pain. Might need a more experienced mummy as a guid at this rate I think!

Fuzzbuzz86 · 28/10/2020 18:34

@KJ1984 I'm so sorry, life can be so crap at times. Sending hugs your way. xx

Fuzzbuzz86 · 28/10/2020 18:37

I'm 8+6 with my second child, I don't really have any symptoms this time around. I wake in the night feeling a bit nauseous but otherwise I'm fine. I did have headaches a couple of weeks ago but not anymore. My 12 week scan is not until the end of November, thinking I should maybe book a private one before?

Ms893 · 28/10/2020 18:50

I think Im due June 18th! First baby I'm new to all this so scared and exciting but also so super sick atm 🤢🤢 😭😭 any advice for a panicky sicky first timer? Xx

KJ1984 · 28/10/2020 20:02

Thanks guys, wishing you all the best for you and your babies x

Mishmased · 28/10/2020 20:31

@Sitchervice here to hold your hand. Third time round for me but most eventful pregnancy yet at 9 weeks. With the other two I had no symptoms apart from a growing bump. But with this one I've been to EPU twice and A&E last Friday. Had a bleed from 4 weeks until 7 weeks in and off, was diagnosed with a hematoma and yesterday's scan no hematoma. I think I may be having early pelvic pain (SPD) as I had a birth of pain with my last baby.

@Fuzzbuzz86 sounds like normal, unless you want to really. For my previous two I never knew the EPU existed and only recently discovered there's a maternity A&E (thanks third pregnancy). But if it eases any worries go for it. I have come to realize that pregnancy is a worrisome time only third time round 😂

@Ms893 congrats first thing do not panic, ginger biscuit, ginger tea anything you can keep down. I never suffered from nausea previously so it was a shock. I try to not go hungry, I take sips of water with oranges and lemon slices. It seems to be getting better and hopefully will be gone soon.

@authenticallyclara congrats. It is a long wait alright, fingers crossed it'll fly.x

Congrats everyone, here's to a healthy pregnancy ❤️❤️❤️

Sitchervice · 28/10/2020 22:06

@Mishmased thank you. I was sadly hit with nausea today. Me and the toilet are becoming very good friends :/

Mishmased · 28/10/2020 22:53

@Sitchervice fingers crossed it passes soon. Mine seems to be easing but I don't want to jinx it. Try to find what you can tolerate and stick to it for now, it will pass.x

Fuzzbuzz86 · 29/10/2020 18:27

@Mishmased I was so chilled first time around, and this time i haven't really even had time to process that I'm actually having another baby!! I'll see how I feel in a couple of weeks. I guess because of undiagnosed complications last time I'm just paranoid now :(.

How far along is everyone? x

BurningBenches · 29/10/2020 18:53

@Fuzzbuzz86 I'm 7+5 with number 5. Also keep forgetting as #4 is 14m so keeping me on my toes. Then the constant nausea reminds me Grin

I've got my scan on the 30th and I guess I better try and book a booking in appointment with MW in the next few weeks.

Garman · 29/10/2020 21:07

Hi everyone, hope you're all well. I got a call today from the Head of the midwife led department and I'm meeting her next week to talk through options for helping me through this pregnancy after my previous experiences there. Hoping it goes well. Have private scan booked for next week too, at 6+4.

Mishmased · 29/10/2020 21:31

@Garman that is fantastic news, I'm pleased to hear that. Fingers crossed this is a positive antenatal for you this time.

Garman · 29/10/2020 21:33

Thanks, I'll reserve judgement until after the appointment but I really hope it goes well and they can put me at ease that the same things won't happen again.

Mishmased · 29/10/2020 21:35

@Fuzzbuzz86 that's good, it does take time to sink in haha. Remember complications last time doesn't mean there will be complications this time.x
I'm 9+2 today although at my scan on Tuesday at 9 weeks she said I was 9+3. Not much of a difference anyway.

@BurningBenches congrats. This will be number 3 for me. How old are yours?

Mishmased · 29/10/2020 21:36

@Garman positive thoughts now girl ❤️

BurningBenches · 29/10/2020 21:49

@Mishmased 20, 11, 9. The 11 and 9 are 17m apart and really close when not arguing 😂 there will be 22m between these two If all goes well.

Mishmased · 29/10/2020 22:14

@BurningBenches that's lovely the little ones will have each other. My two are 30 months 🤣 apart and very close when not killing each other as well.

Raebo · 31/10/2020 14:15

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all well and congratulations! 😊

I found out a couple of weeks ago that I was pregnant, I'm now 7 weeks.

This is my second pregnancy; all being well this will be my first baby. Feeling very anxious at the moment but sort of reassured by the hundred and one symptoms I'm having...even if I do feel horrendous 😅

Mishmased · 31/10/2020 14:21

Congrats @Raebo wishing you healthy pregnancy.

Raebo · 31/10/2020 14:34

Thank you @Mishmased 😊 The same to you!

BellaKaur · 31/10/2020 23:39

Hi guys. I'm due around the 26th June. Have an almost 5 year old. Have been trying for years. Gave up. Been quite ill too and had sex the once, didn't even lay there for 20 minutes with my legs in the air 🤣 did 3 tests just to be sure. Still in shock. Had given up on the idea. Not even sure how I'll cope. News is still sinking in but sooooooo slowly.

BellaKaur · 31/10/2020 23:45

@Sitchervice i feel for you. With my previous pregnancy my pelvic girdle pain started at week 14. I was signed off from work for the remainder of my pregnancy. It was awful. Dreading that i will get it again.
