@CoronaBaby yeah I don't have to work over the weekend so I can avoid the chair for a couple of days. I'm not planning on doing much over the weekend.

Will you be having an earlier scan?

CoronaBaby · 15/05/2020 21:05

@BabyDust13 no I don’t think so. They aren’t readily available where I am and the one clinic doing it won’t let partners in! I had an early scan last time as I had a bleed at 7 weeks and it was lovely to see the heart beat, but hopefully I won’t have a reason to have one this time!
Will you have an early scan?

BabyDust13 · 15/05/2020 21:34

@CoronaBaby I was considering it but due to everything going on a lot of places are closed and my OH wouldn't be able to come anyway I'm not sure if it's necessary if it was I'm sure they would make everyone have a scan earlier

Positivetime · 15/05/2020 21:52

Hi everyone. Hope everyone is ok.
I’m finding this wait until after AF date has well and truly passes really difficult! Anyone else?

CoronaBaby · 15/05/2020 22:04

@BabyDust13 I don’t think it’s necessary unless there is an issue, but it’s nice for reassurance too! I hope you get some relief from your back this weekend!
@Positivetime yes I am! AF due this weekend so I am eagerly wishing the weekend away. It would help if we could have a drink πŸ˜…

BabyDust13 · 15/05/2020 22:04

@Positivetime me too kept myself busy today but my minds racing again now I'm pretty tired though might just go to bed. I'm sure everything will be fine for both of us but it's hard not to feel anxious

Skyla01 · 16/05/2020 08:26

Morning ladies. I can understand the anxiety- you think the tww is bad enough bit there is more waiting on the other side! Although I did all my waiting last week and am 5wks today. It's nice to know every Saturday I can tick by another week! Still half expecting to see AF when I go to the loo though. Anyone else not feel pregnant yet? Maybe the news is still sinking in!

BabyDust13 · 16/05/2020 08:31

@CoronaBaby thank you

@Skyla01 I still don't believe it I think that's why I keep peeing on sticks but I only have digitals left and there's no point peeing on 3 of them but I will be doing my first digital tomorrow be interesting to see if the weeks think the same as me

Positivetime · 16/05/2020 09:01

@BabyDust13 I’m going to do my first digital tomorrow and next week too I think. I honestly feel like my period is coming these cramps feel the same.

I agree the waiting doesn’t seem to end!

Skyla01 · 16/05/2020 09:05

I have had constant cramps but they are duller than my AF ones and not as painful. I've heard many women feel just like AF is coming though.

When do you have your 1st midwife appointment? I think I might leave it another week before phoning my GP surgery. I wonder if it will still be face to face or over the phone? I guess we still need blood tests right?

BabyDust13 · 16/05/2020 09:56

@Positivetime I've heard that the cramps can feel just like AF especially when AF was meant to be due I haven't had too much cramping although there's still plenty of time

@Skyla01 I think I'm going to wait for the end of next week before filling in the form for the midwife just for piece of mind and they don't want to see me until 9 weeks anyway

Skyla01 · 16/05/2020 12:16

I've just had a little bit of spotting. I know early pregnancy bleeding is very common but it's made me nervous now. Fingers crossed it doesn't become proper bleeding...

BabyG123 · 16/05/2020 15:43

@Skyla01 first midwife is around 8 weeks and over the phone at the momentX. Not sure how bloods work yet.

I hope you're ok and just normal bleed.

BabyDust13 · 16/05/2020 15:48

@Skyla01 if it's brown or light pink I think that's pretty normal from what I've read

Hope you're ok

Skyla01 · 16/05/2020 17:07

Thanks. There's not been any more. I know a bit of spotting is nothing to worry about but just got me nervous it could be the start of something more. But nothing so far and hopefully nothing.

You think getting the BFP is it but just seems the start of the worry! Just going to relax, there's nothing I can do anyway. So not point in being anxious.

Anyone else have stinky pee or just me?!

Littlebump2018 · 16/05/2020 17:08

@Skyla01 I hope your ok and not worrying too much!

I don't know why I did it, yesterday I tested with CB digital and got 3+ but I just tested again and it said 2-3 😡I'm trying to remind myself that I've drunk a lot of water as it was hot this afternoon so that's probably my why but now I won't be able to stop worrying until tomorrow morning! Surely you can't miscarry in less than 24hours!? My line the day before last we're quite light and then yesterday they were prob blue so I'm hoping it because it's middle of the day after loads of water 😩

Skyla01 · 16/05/2020 17:16

@Littlebump2018 I think you have an explanation right there. If you are taking tests again maybe always take them at the same time, fmu is best. And then you know you can compare.

As I said, so many new worries! I'm sure if you test again the morning you'll be reassured x

Littlebump2018 · 16/05/2020 17:33

@Skyla01 thanks! I'm such an idiot I should have left well alone πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

@unluckyducky I'm going to stay well away from tests! It's really nice to see it on a digital though. Is this your first?

Littlebump2018 · 16/05/2020 17:53

@unluckyducky massive congrats!

To be honest I've kind had so symptoms for a little while. Apart from heartburn and tiredness!

Normally I can take a test whenever and it be the same no matter what the time but as I was outside today I made a effort to drink and I haven't really been drinking much lately. So for now I'm gunna tell my mind that's what happened lol try again tomorrow and fingers crossed. I really don't want my journey to be over as I had said one and done (DD is 16months) and I don't think I'd be able to handle the loss and starting again. I think this will be my last try.

Xxx

ZRS86 · 16/05/2020 18:45

@unluckyducky I did a digital test today too and was quite surprised to get 2-3 weeks as AF isn’t due until tomorrow. I agree with you @Skyla01 that it’s good to see it written in words!

I booked in for an early scan today as they have said that my OH is allowed to come. I’m only just going to be 6 weeks when I go but it’s the day before my birthday so I thought it would be a nice present. Not sure whether it’s too early though and if I should delay it. Anyone else booked an early scan?

Littlebump2018 · 16/05/2020 19:35

@ZRS86 congrats! Which company did you book with? I wanted to possibly book one that my partner could come to as well xxx

ZRS86 · 16/05/2020 19:46

@Littlebump2018 I booked with Window to Womb. Their website was a bit misleading as it says to come on your own but you can bring someone if needed. I emailed the clinic I’ll be going to and asked whether my partner could come and they replied to say that it was fine if he was from the same household. I hope you manage to find somewhere too.

VeryLuckyDucky · 16/05/2020 20:56

Thanks everyone, I have DD4 and DD2 already, so feeling incredibly blessed to be having another. It's my DPs first πŸ₯°

Fantastic @ZRS86...twins?! πŸ˜…

@Littlebump2018 I've just booked W2W for 8w0d and DP allowed thank goodness! Had same reply as @ZRS86 and I'm in the North West
