Hey girls- at request.... as we love our May group so much we thought we'd do a graduates group 👶🏼🤞🏼

In honesty it seems hormonal. Have you had your booking in appointment yet? I'd defo speak to your midwife, hormones can be a real head F word and can lead to depression so if defo keep an eye on it. I hope you're ok.

@BabyG123 thank you my booking appointment isn't until the 18th I'm sure it's just hormonal but it made me feel better to mention it

@BabyDust13 at times i feel very similar! We were ttc for 14months, and I thought once I finally got a bfp it would be all laughs and smiles.... Not! I'm anxious that everything is ok in there (the 12wk scan wait feels so long), and physically I've felt awful for weeks. The fatigue, nausea, thirst, peeing- it's like a non stop hangover. Plus hormones are all over the shop. It's no wonder we aren't feeling great emotionally.

I'm hoping that around 12wk I'll have had a scan to reassure me and physically I'll start to feel better and maybe I'll start to enjoy pregnancy. I would speak to your midwife or gp, talking might help. But you aren't alone!

How long until your 12 week scan

I had one on Thursday at 6+5 but the sonographer was very keen to keep saying at this early stage all I can tell you is everything looks fine for now which wasn't to reassuring

I have a private one booked in a couple of weeks so my OH can come

@BabyDust13 I'm 8+1 so about 4 weeks to go. I had my midwife booking on Wednesday and she said I would get an appointment letter in the post so just waiting for that. I'm not planning to have any private scans first. I think it's normal to not see much early on- part of the reason I'm just gonna wait for 12wks. Shame that DP won't be able to come though.

@BabyDust13 sorry your not feeling great.
I would def talk to your mid wife to see if there's anything that could help incase it gets worse x

I've been doing some research and I've read quite a few things about pregnacare giving some people upset stomachs and bad cramps so I think I'm going to go back to just folic acid for a few days and see if that makes me feel any better

Mad isn't it how the 12 weeks scan seems miles away but back in the day they didn't have any scans the whole Pregnancy!!! How mad!

Morning ladies. So I managed to crawl in to work this morning for 9am so that's something. Might sneak off home early though pretty sure I'll need an afternoon nap. Hope I have nothing important to do today my brain feels like mush! Hope everyone else is ok.

@BabyG123 make something up like "I heard they can help with hayfever"...! Can you wear long sleeves at work to hide them? Might be worth it if they can take the edge off the nausea.

Lol @Skyla01. I think people would believe anything haha. Also totally felt like you yesterday, just hungover. So weird. Tired and only wanting cruddy food. Going to make an effort to eat better this week and get exercising again after a lazy week last week.

I feel so bad for everyone who's having to go into work. I've been throwing up every morning more or less recently and wouldn't cope if I had to go out anywhere! Might give the travel bands a go as I really want to get back into running but I just can't face it when I feel so sick all the time.

Hi all. I did mention quite a while ago about the sickness bands. I've used them in previous pregnancy and although dont stop the actual being sick, they take away the feeling. They were a god send. I've got some arriving today off amazing, I think £4ish for a pack of 4. @BabyDust13 that's good that you have been able to speak to your other half, when I suffered post natal, speaking to mine helped massively, just make sure you mention it to the midwife to and she can help aswell but you arent on your own ❤

@OrangeJ I'm just going with it- going to be lazy and eat rubbish while I feel like this. Just hope it is only temporary!

@sachaf08 I would love to go out for a run!! But climbing stairs at work is a work out just now, so going to leave it until I feel better. I have no idea how people manage to run throughout the first trimester or even do half marathons etc. Maybe they have little symptoms?

I went for a short run the other day (about 2.5K) and could NOT catch my breath. It was awful! 😂 felt so unfit!

@OrangeJ @Skyla01 I asked the doctor about running a few weeks ago and she said yes please keep exercising as much as you can.. if only it were that straightforward! She did suggest maybe breaking up a 5k into 3 lots of 10 mins rather than trying to do it all at once, I might try that soon if I get a day where I feel alright. It's so annoying as I'd just got my 5k under 30 mins when I found out I was pregnant!

Hi everyone hope you all are good

So I ended up at a and e last night as I had really sharp sudden pains come on that were unbearable. They done a blood and urine test which are still showing positive and after a 3 hour wait sent me over to maternity and said they would do an internal scan. After an hour waiting about there I was told they couldn't scan me and I would be rang today with an appointment.
I got a call this morning and I'm booked in for a scan in the morning.. so nervous as I'm still bleeding although the pain stopped last night

I'm feeling much better today cramp wise which seems to have lifted my mood a bit. I really think stopping the pregnacare has made a massive difference.

I'm eating like a 🐷 today when I'm not eating I feel so sick 🤢 but I'm ok with that. That I can deal with.

@Hopefulmummie really sorry to hear you had such a stressful night, and how annoying that they STILL didn't do the internal scan! At least hopefully tomorrow they can finally check it out and make sure it's all ok!

@Hopefulmummie I'm in a similar situation, I have pains near both ovaries that are getting unbearable and extremely sharp/sudden, some brown/red discharge. I'm also booked in for a scan tomorrow morning at 10.30 but I'm filled with worry, sending you lots of hugs

@Fluffkins14 hiya, sorry to hear you're also not having a great time right now. The fact that the pain is both sides is hopefully a positive thing, really hope you get some reassuring news tomorrow at your scan xx

@Fluffkins14 aw I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing this it's really not nice. My pain was across my lower stomach and into my back. It almost feels like bladder pain and I thought maybe I had an infection but nothing showed up in my urine.
Is your bleeding heavy?
