Hey girls- at request.... as we love our May group so much we thought we'd do a graduates group 👶🏼🤞🏼

@MoonW yes hun completely normal I have 2 health DD and both pregnancies I've had cramps including this one now, usually sharp or dull stabbing pulling pains

@Fluffkins14 ah thank you! Just feels like the odd dull cramp almost like what I’d get around AF but not as intense. Although I do keep going to the loo to check 🙈

@Moon congratulations! Do you know how far along you are / due date? I totally know what you feel about jinxing things. Fingers crossed everything will go well, but you could always wait until the weekend and take it from there?

@Hopefulmummie I seem to have gone off loads of stuff just over the last 24hr. Just ate a bag of ready salted crisps quite happily though- maybe that will be my new diet!

@MoonW I had dull cramps non stop for 5 days around the 5wk mark, I think it's quite normal. Tbh I'm still on the look out for AF sometimes even now- old habits die hard!

@Skyla01 I’m either 3+6 or 4 weeks, so still early days! From using the NHS due date calculator it has set a due date in the first week of the first week in February.

@moonw congratulations! I found out 5 days before af was due and I cramped until the day before it was due. I still get the odd cramping so I think it's totally normal x

@Positivetime thank you I'm waiting for a phone call to arrange an early scan the doctor referred me she said I should be able to get one tomorrow 🤞🏼

I’m ok. I’ve been on and off with these cramps. I’ve been taking it easy quite a bit but then the painful cramps will come out of nowhere and last a few mins it feels.

Other than I’ve felt tired on and off. I’m fine as long as I rest after I do one thing In a day!

Got through to my gp today to let them know. She said I'll get a letter out as I have already done my self referral for my scan date but she's unsure yet if anyone can attend with me

@BabyDust13 I know. I’ve been trying to do meditation to distract myself and watch comedy shows when I get down. I’m hoping as many positive vibes will help us both. Take care and try to get some sleep tonight x

Is anyone taking any pregnancy vitamins they can recommend? A lot of food is turning my stomach and not sure my diet is going to be very healthy or varied for the next wee while!

@Skyla01 I'm taking the pregnacare original tablets only trouble is you have to take it after eating your main meal so if you can't keep a lot of food down they may not be very helpful I think they can make you more sick on an empty stomach ☺️

@skyla01 I'm taking pregnacare too Ive heard things about them not agreeing with some people but I've been ok with them.

@BabyDust13 just saw you're getting a scan, are you alright? I've decided to book a firstscan early reassurance scan next week, not for any particular reason other than to try and keep me calm as my doctor says I shouldn't phone to get a midwife appointment till 9 weeks which feels quite far away!

@sachaf08 I have a private scan booked for 8 weeks so my OH can come but the last couple of days I've had some really bad cramps with a little bleeding so my doctor has referred me for a scan hopefully it will be tomorrow or Thursday I'm waiting for a call.

@BabyDust13 oh no that sounds really stressful- I hope they get you in asap so you can have your mind put at rest. How far along are you now? I'm still getting some reasonably sharp cramps now at 6+3

@sachaf08 I'm 6 weeks tomorrow. I don't think I would have worried about the cramps so much if there hadn't been some blood as well just need to put my mind at rest 🤞🏼☺️

Vitamins wise I take pregnacare.
Have to double up on folic acid and vitamin d though as my bmi is slightly above where they'd like it to be! Struggle with the 3rd tablet lol

@BabyG123 I was on prescriped folic acid before I got pregnant as my levels were low
So I'm wondering should I continue to take this along with the pregnacare just to be safe?

How much folic acid is safe to take?

@MoonW I literally just had a call got an appointment for tomorrow at 2.40. It's a relief I hate waiting keeping all my fingers and toes crossed x

So I had my scan today and thankfully all is fine with baby. In the right place!
However they did spot a fibroid which is outside of my uterus about 5cm. Does anyone have any experience with these? I’ve never known about it but now quite worried and what it will mean.
