@sachaf08. Oh that’s reassuring as I can definitely walk as in the pain isn’t that bad that I can’t walk. It’s coming and going in waves at the moment. How far along are you?

sachaf08 · 20/05/2020 20:14

@positivetime I'm 5+4 now, I would say the worst of the cramps were in the week leading up to AF date, but I do still get them a couple of times a day now. From what I've read on here even fairly bad cramps can be totally normal, but you're definitely doing the right thing in getting a scan particularly if it feels like something is different suddenly! Just got to try and chill out while you wait but I know it's hard!!

Mrsi2020 · 20/05/2020 23:05

Hi everyone ! Tentatively joining! V nervous! Hope you’re all good. I’ll read this whole thread in the morning when I’m bright eyed and bushy tailed with my decaf coffee xx

OrangeJ · 21/05/2020 07:35

Morning everyone. I’m also tentatively joining. I’m 13DPO today but still not feeling any symptoms other than the odd feeling that something’s happening in my tummy.

When did everyone else start having their symptoms and what have you got?

Also not told DH yet and I’ve known since Monday! πŸ™Š It’s killing me, but it’s our first and has happened sooner than we thought. I have PCOS and his mum has fed him stories over the years about how they waited 11 years for him. So think he’s going to be a little shocked, as I was to be honest! I was going to wait til his birthday Tuesday but now decided Saturday will be nice timing so we have the weekend to be solely thinking about baby! I haven’t wanted to distract him from work etc as he’s really busy. Only two more days to get through now! Haha!

Argh and still not decided how I’m going to tell him! I’ve bought a baby hammock that is really cool and thought could go in a campervan he wants to convert (so I can prove I still have intentions on living our life when baby is here). Or while I’m making his birthday cake Saturday I could just say I’ve β€˜got your bun in my oven’. Then give him a card when he cottons on. And give him a test? Or wait til he knows and do the digi with him? Sooo many questions! We only plan on having one so really want it to be perfect.

Also, when do you stop POAS?! πŸ˜‚ it’s just so nice seeing the lines and feel like the more I do the more real it is. Also worried that because I’m not feeling any symptoms that maybe they’re going to start fading.

Sorry for rambling but you girls are the only people I can talk to πŸ˜…

BabyG123 · 21/05/2020 07:41

@OrangeJ congratulations!!

With DS1 I had no symptoms at all. This one nausea since 2dpo. Today is particularly bad and I'm having to psych myself up to go to work and not be sick!

I love the bun in the oven idea. Made me laugh. I did a treasure hunt (but I have no patience so the day I found out 🀣)

And i poas last time until I saw a scan πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Mrsi2020 · 21/05/2020 07:45

@OrangeJ can’t wait to hear how telling him goes!

I’m 16dpo today and I did another FRER and it’s v v faint. I’m not optimistic . Hopefully over the next few days they darken xxx

Skyla01 · 21/05/2020 07:48

@Mrsi2020 hello!! Congratulations! Is this your first?

@OrangeJ same to you! Can't believe you've kept this a secret- I told DP straight away! But I was so nervous before testing I had no energy to make a special announcement. Your ideas all sound very thoughtful and lovely. I've only taken 1 test but then I was a late already. A few ladies do repeat tests but get worried if they don't see progression as much as they'd like. So I would use fmu if you keep testing and don't do it too often. It is lovely to see a line though! After I found out I've nausea, cramps & sore boobs but I'm 5+5. Nausea is actually but better just now. If you are quite early I wouldn't worry about lack of symptoms. What is your due date?

BabyDust13 · 21/05/2020 07:51

@OrangeJ morning congratulations

I'm 4+6 today and don't really have symptoms my lower backs been hurting but it does that sometimes anyway but I have needed to pee a lot and I feel a bit bloated

Your plans to tell your OH sound lovely I didn't do anything special just showed him the stick πŸ˜‚ he didn't really believe it until I showed him a digi

Skyla01 · 21/05/2020 07:52

Oh and I'm peeing a lot too!

BabyDust13 · 21/05/2020 07:54

@OrangeJ forgot to say I've peed on many sticks but I only have 1 left for the weekend now and then I'm done I think 12 is enough πŸ˜‚

Mrsi2020 · 21/05/2020 07:59

Thanks, sixth pregnancy, 3rd child. I suspect this is another mc . Top pic is yesterday’s bottom is today’s, it’s gotten lighter. I reckon a mc is imminent. Xx

Skyla01 · 21/05/2020 08:03

@Mrsi2020 aah I hope you are wrong although it does look a little lighter. Xx

Mrsi2020 · 21/05/2020 08:04

It’s a lot lighter in real life. Also yesterday was 2mu , today was FMU so with a viable preg it should have been noticeably darker today. In my experience anyway. Thanks for replying xx

BabyG123 · 21/05/2020 08:09

@Mrsi2020 I hope the line gets darker for you 🀞🏼 I'm sure this happened to someone else on here that their fmu was always lighter than one in the pm πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

OrangeJ · 21/05/2020 08:12

Oooh @mrsi2020 I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you. X

@Skyla01 I have one FRER and the digi left so think I might use those over the weekend then call it quits! I definitely have other things I can be spending money on πŸ˜‚

@BabyDust13 thank you. If I can avoid the nausea like you then I’ll take that! 🀞 12 sticks πŸ™Š I flooded my last cheapie this morning and I was so annoyed!

OrangeJ · 21/05/2020 08:14

@BabyG123 oh my gosh. Nausea since 2dpo 😱 that’s awful. I might go with the bun idea it will catch him off guard but will be funny and we do love a pun in this household. Hehe.

BabyG123 · 21/05/2020 08:16

@OrangeJ yeah really bad too. I knew I was pregnant from that moment. Feel a bit better after I've had some toast so that's no a new breakfast πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ defo like that idea

Hey all, cautiously hopping over to the graduate thread, just got my BFP 😊

Littlepeas2 · 21/05/2020 09:09

@OrangeJ congratulations!! I have very few symptoms at 4+4. Literally got sore boobs and I get occasional headaches which I don’t normally. Apart from that I’m fine. Also guilty off being a POAS addict. I’ve got 3 more cheapies and a digi that I’m saving for next week. Love you bun idea!! So cute!!

@Mrsi2020 This all is being really unfair to you! Not sure if it will make you feel much better but my FMU never gives me a strong line!

@TheLastStark Yay! How exciting!!! Congratulations! How many DPO are you?

Skyla01 · 21/05/2020 11:04

Feel like I should be doing a second test now... But I think it will stress me out so not going to.

Great to see more graduates! I am so tired today- I keep needing to pee overnight and it really disturbs my sleep. Doesn't help it is so hot right now.

Mrsi2020 · 21/05/2020 11:05

Thanks girls.

@Littlepeas2 I tried with SMU too , I’ve just had a load of EWCM and cervix is low so I’m out I imagine xx

Thanks hun. It’s shite but it’s part and parcel of the whole process. I told my mum , and she was like β€œno you haven’t lost, you’ve had a late period. Technically every cycle your body is releasing an egg to get pregnant. Yous find out far too early nowadays it’s just pure torture. Stop testing so soon and let nature take its course!” She made me laugh! Xx

Littlepeas2 · 21/05/2020 11:25

@mrsi2020 I think what your mum said actually makes so much sense. I waited until I was over a week late with my first pregnancies and I didn’t have any of the anxiety I have now. I do think finding out earlier adds to the stress doesn’t it. Sending you lots of love. Xx

Positivetime · 21/05/2020 14:38

@Mrsi2020 I’m so sorry to hear that. Nature really does play tricks with us.

Guys I’m sorry I’m always worrying but I’ve had a sudden realisation today that my boobs are not hurting as much and they’ve been sore since like 4dpo!
Does that pain go away that quickly at 5weeks?

My cramps are coming and going still but I think they might be less severe now. Should I keep testing?
