I got my BFP on Tuesday the 28th and am feeling pretty symptom free today (so obviously panicking that it's all going wrong! 😣). 7 week scan due to be Tuesday the 18th and it feels like a long way away with symptoms going awol! 😥 POAS this morning and it looks spot on for where I should be, so trying to take some comfort from that 🤞🤞🤞

@wimbledon1 I'm off on a hen weekend tomorrow! I thought I might say that we have decided to start a ivf but have decided to cut out alcohol and caffeine before starting. To be fair I did do that. That should buy me some time, then if things go wrong I say we haven't started or it didn't work...

@FlapJackered and @Wimbledon1 good luck for tomorrow and remember you've got the most important symptoms : missed period and positive pregnancy test! The rest is all very relative! If I didn't know I was pregnant I wouldn't have paid much attention to my symptoms.

Thank you for all the advice ladies! I considered each one, although rejected the "I prefer to spit" quite quickly because that would only work with people who have never met me before 😂

@DobbieFreeElf - a hen do is pretty tricky too!! Haha. I think your excuse is one I'm going to start using on quite a few friends though, as you say it buys time but it's true enough that if they start quizzing you about the process, you have the answers!

May go with your suggestion on Saturday though @BambiOnIce80. I thought there weren't many antibiotics that stop you drinking now, and the guy works for a pharmaceutical company so might know. But as you know what you are talking about too I will choose one of these!

I thought I was the only one being obsessed about the results from today :). Have this open on my screen and playing the same refreshing game as I get email notifications sometimes half an hour later (not good enough for times when we are expecting news like this!).
It's a miracle I still have my job as I can't say I got much done so far today.

Hi ladies - so sorry, I didn't want to post when I got back because I knew @FlapJackered was later in the day and it didn't seem fair. But all largely fine here too I think.....

I saw "broadly" and "I think" as it turns out on the NHS you don't get quite the level of help and information!! After they found the heartbeat 💓 I asked about the size and the chap said it didn't matter at this point as they all grow at different rates so he clearly wasn't even going to tell me that! Then I asked about due date, and he said that's a question for the 12 week scan. Told me I still probably don't want to swim due to infection risk, and released me back into the main NHS system.

They were very pleasant and congratulatory but it wasn't really the full update I've seen others have 😂

@FlapJackered so pleased to see everything is well for you as well. Have been thinking of you and keeping everything crossed. Your pic is great! Did they give you a due date? Supposing mine might be the same? And a size perhaps?!!

My heart was in my bloody mouth @Wimbledon1! 😳 Fantastic news! 😍😍😍 Our clinic is NHS and they gave me our EDD on the discharge/follow up sheet thingy 🗒 And they said the size was spot on for 7 weeks (but they didn't say how many mm or anything). I still find it crazy how much variation there is in between clinics 😕

I got my tooth broken.. called NHs to see if I can get free dental as I'm pregnant, they said No as our city doesn't have any clinics that accept new patients and as I'm not in a lot of pain I can't get an emergency appointment either... looks like I have to go private.. I was hoping I could use free NHs dental service during pregnancy...

My symptoms are up and down like a yoyo! Could barely move yesterday but ok today. Very mildly pukey feeling now and then but cramps much better!

Pheww, congrats @Wimbledon1, was so worried especially that you said you wouldn't post if it was bad news. Glad everything is ok, and good to know I need to lower my expectations for the NHS scan.

Oh no @Viletta that's awful, hope you are ok, not sure how dental cover works, I always go through my work cashback plan, sorry no idea about the rest.

No symptoms here really, the bloating is still here and strong plus full bbs, but nothing else to report, these are considered normal by now :)

Sorry TMI alert, but I had a big blob of something yellow that seemed like the "leftover" of the progesterone gel. Is it possible it has been up there?? I stopped using them on Monday morning and obviously I have not been taking baths and didn't go swimming also no DTD so now think it is making it's way out from there, it's very weird and unpleasant. Again sorry for the TMI, It happened very unexpectedly. Has something like this happened to anyone else days after stopping with the progesterone?

Yes apparently bang on 7 weeks so I am sure you are too. I think she said it measured 9.2mm which was correct for the dates. Due date is 09.10.20! So I expect yours is the same? It's the first time I have looked up my due date as I have just been too nervous! Makes it all feel real!

@Lily999 thanks so much ❤️ due date is 9th October. Yes we have a video of the heart beating away, it was amazing to see! I burst into tears 🙈

That's a bugger about your tooth @Viletta 😕 Did they say it's because you're not already registered with an NHS dentist that you can't get the free treatment? I'm seeing mine in a few weeks time for a check up, so I'll double check what the 'rules' are then 🦷

Only 5 more sleeps @Chooklass! 🤩 I've been the same - felt like death warmed up this morning, but feel absolutely fine now 🤷‍♀️ I must admit that it was you mentioning black pudding yesterday that put the idea into my head this morning when I was feeling rough that a black pudding roll would sort me out... And it did! 😋

Like you say @Lily999, probably just something to do with stopping the progesterone. Try not to worry.x

My productivity increased after yourself and @Wimbledon1 gave your lovely updates @FlapJackered, so all is well at work now! 😄 And it's the weekend, so I no longer care until Monday 😂

Well ladies, I am bloody starving (despite the addition of a black pudding roll this morning for my breakfast! 😋) and I have a chicken bhuna, garlic naans and a bottle of 0% rosè wine waiting for me at home - bliss! 😊 I hope you all have a lovely evening, whatever it is that you're up to 💖

@BambiOnIce80 yes this is because I'm not registered with an nhs dentist, I've tried for 4 years but no luck. 0% sounds amazing! Where is it from?
