Anyone else out there due in October?

I did a test this morning and I'm due on the 5th.

Hey ladies! Congratulations everyone ❤️ I’ve literally just got my BFP tonight! I’m apparently due on the 30th October, so this is super early days.

This will be baby #2, my daughter is 18 months old. Can someone add me to the FB group please?

Fancypants01 · 18/02/2020 20:39

I’ve found it 🧡

newmum2020 · 19/02/2020 18:27

Hi everyone, I'm late to the party as I thought I was in the September club....however a scan yesterday at what I thought was 8 weeks (due to spotting on and off for 3 weeks and previous MC in November) put me at only 6 weeks but with a heartbeat!
I am certain of last period so was a bit surprised measuring earlier and needless to say I'm now worried (despite heartbeat, which I know is a good sign!)

Suppose I'm just scared to be too excited but I know it could be down to a number of reasons including late ovulation (first cycle post MC)

Anyway due date now looking like 13th October.....going for private scan on Saturday to try and reassure me that things are progressing!

Has anyone had similar experience with dates being out? X

Effram · 19/02/2020 21:33

Just got a bfp... Period was due today, tests were negative yesterday so feeling a bit nervous! Due date calculator says due 28th October! Keeping my fingers crossed...

newmum2020 · 19/02/2020 21:41

Congratulations @Effram we were on the January TTC thread!! 😃

Effram · 19/02/2020 21:45

@newmum2020 yes I recognized your name!! Hope you're doing ok xxx

newmum2020 · 19/02/2020 21:49

Still on a bloody rollercoaster of emotions @Effram 😂I don't think it will ever end! X

Nazly · 19/02/2020 23:45

Hello ladies
I got my test today and predicted 28th Oct due date. I have a couple of chemicals and my age doesn't help so I am not quite ready for a Facebook group yet I feel, but at the same time I feel sad that not many people are here now- @Birchwoods I read your early text and had a lot of sympathy with you

I don't have any specific symptoms! Even my boobs are not hurting - this will be my second (if it sticks) and my DS is 5.5- I remember last time most of my noticeable symptoms including nausea started at W6... so trying not to worry too much for now ...

If you ladies may not be active here then I should perhaps ask to join FB group ...

YukoandHiro · 19/02/2020 23:51

Yes! I'm due 15th if it sticks... hi everyone x

YukoandHiro · 19/02/2020 23:52

Is anyone else suffering from awful insomnia? I just created a separate thread about it. I feel so exhausted and yet can't shut off. I don't remember it being this bad so early with my first

Daisy2206 · 20/02/2020 09:35

@YukoandHiro I'm struggling to get to sleep, takes me ages. But once I'm asleep I seem to be okay, I do wake up a few times but can drop back off quite easily x

Effram · 20/02/2020 11:35

@newmum2020 nope that's it now rollercoaster for life!

I did another test this morning and it came up strong so I'm allowing myself to feel a teensy bit excited...

newmum2020 · 20/02/2020 11:38

@Effram that's great, it's so hard to let yourself feel excited.

I'm having a terrible day, I can't stop crying I'm so convinced that there's something wrong because they've measured me 2 weeks behind where I know I should be. My boobs don't hurt as much today and I am feeling so anxious.

I have midwife tomorrow and I need to find out next steps as I cant continue this way 😰

Effram · 20/02/2020 16:03

@newmum2020 oh I'm sorry to hear you're feeling that way. I missed this, did you have an early scan? Will they rescan? Hopefully it was just the angle made it come up smaller than you expected and all will be back on track next time?

newmum2020 · 20/02/2020 16:08

@Effram I had early scan due to bleeding on and off for 3 weeks. They were just very matter of fact that I've got my dates wrong but I know I haven't. They won't see me again til 12 weeks. I've booked private scan for weekend to see if it sheds any light. I thought the early scan would tell me one way or another after 3 weeks of worry but it has given me more questions than answers tbh 😞

SomethingAboutYou · 20/02/2020 19:16

Hi all, hope you're all ok.
@newmum2020 that sounds so worrying for you, it's such a shame you haven't had the clarity you hoped for. Fingers crossed the weekend scan helps you. How many weeks are you?

I had my first midwife appointment today and she's put me down as 5+1 so due 21st of October now (until dating scan which I think will push things later towards the end of the month).

Mild symptoms so far apart from the insomnia @YukoandHiro I can get to sleep easily and go into deep sleep for about an hour and then I'm fretful for about 2-3 hrs then I'm basically awake from 3-4am onwards. Can't believe it has started so early!! 😴😴

milney25 · 21/02/2020 09:58

Hi everyone! I got my positive last Sunday and so am due around the end of October.

I already have a son, who is 20 months. It took us two years to conceive him so I was so shocked to get pregnant the first month ttc.

I had a lot of bleeding with my first, and so I'm super nervous about all the stretches, cramps and gurgling!

I joined one of these groups last time around and it was wonderful.

Nice to meet you all and I hope you are all feeling well xx

Effram · 21/02/2020 10:30

@newmum2020 oh that is worrying, but I do know so many people who've had bleeding and everything was fine. I hope the scan this weekend provides some reassurance! X

YukoandHiro · 22/02/2020 19:12

How's it going @Newmumma83 - did you get any clarity at your private scan? It must be so stressful for you.

I've also had symptoms wax and wane so a bit worried too. I feel fine today apart from sore nipples.

YukoandHiro · 22/02/2020 19:14

Same here @SomethingAboutYou I drop off easily but wake to fever type dreams and toss and turn the rest of the night. Had night sweats too, which reminded me prematurely of the utter joy of the first four weeks after birth :(

But otherwise been fine so far.

I had a high risk first pregnancy and utterly hate being pregnant. I really hope this one sticks so I can count down the days to never; ever doing this again.

SomethingAboutYou · 22/02/2020 19:25

Oh god yeah, the awful postnatal sweats Shock it's incredible how much you can forget.

I had a relatively easy first pregnancy but ended up with SPD for the last 7 weeks which was torture so I'm petrified of that coming back, especially if it comes earlier.

4bears2cats · 23/02/2020 21:38

Hi! Just got my BFP and due 28th October. Would love to join in with other October due daters. Already have a 3yo daughter and still in an amazing fb group from our December 2016 mumsnet group.

Hoping to join the fb group soon, have messaged @WestyNottingham and @charlottees89 Smile

4bears2cats · 23/02/2020 21:41

Solidarity with sleep issues @YukoandHiro and @SomethingAboutYou I’m only 4+3 and already had some poor nights sleep - either. Ant get to sleep or wide awake 4am. I’m SURE it never started this early last time !? I’m also developing the demon thirst early this time, drinking water like crazy. Maybe I’m growing a water bomb instead of a baby Grin

SomethingAboutYou · 23/02/2020 22:08

Congrats on the Bfp @4bears2cats I also have a 3yr old and am on a mumsnet group for dec babies!! 🧐

Sorry to hear you've got the same sleep issues, it definitely is super early for all this!

4bears2cats · 23/02/2020 22:19
