Ok. So just realised our thread had been moved and closed so I hope you all find your way back to this one!

What's sage oil? Nipple stimulation is supposed to help. Although dh is put off getting too near because I keep leaking!

I think I found a thread on here saying sage essential oil had set a few ppl off in labour so I got some from Holland & Barrett today .

I’ve had a couple of baths in clary sage oil and only had the odd BH no real contractions. I’ve tried everything now...! 🙄

I'm due Monday and nothing for me too just cramping when I do a lot of walking

I have fingers crossed that when I ring tomorrow I can go in to be induced. 40+9 and sooo ready now.

I'm 40+9 now and going in for a sweep in the morning, with induction moved from christmas eve to Sunday! Looks like we'll have a baby in the next few days 🤞🏻

@Nervousdave were you due on 11th as well? Fingers crossed we get our babies soon 😊

As a side note to all the lovely babies being born, what has everyone asked for for Christmas this year being heavily pregnant? I have had so many people asking me for ideas and I have found it so difficult to think of either what I would like or what I would after the baby is here! My partner is begging me for an idea so he can get something for me tomorrow, so any help??

My waters went last night before anything else started, so I'm in hospital and had the pessary. Now it's just the waiting game -.-

Hi all, our little girl made a surprise appearance at 8 this morning. No warning signs other than watery discharge yesterday then woke up at 2am in pain and thought - maybe this is a contraction! Started timing and they were already 40-50 seconds about 5 mins apart!

@bespokepaininthearse we aren’t bothering with presents this year . I’m not really bothering with Xmas full stop . Though now I feel a bit guilty as we just received some unusually extravagant gifts from my dad

@Comps83 we're not really doing Christmas that much either and have told everyone but people have still asked for ideas for smaller gifts which is so hard!

I tend to ask for jewellery or shoes if someone asks . There are always some shoes or some jewellery I’ll want but would never justify buying for myself as I already have loads .

I’ve had raspberry leaf tea, ate some pineapple and now I’m having a sage oil bath

My Christmas baby has come 3 days early!

I had my beautiful baby boy at 7:23am this morning. Waters broke at 11pm and things progressed quickly (I got to 10cm in 3/4 hours) Baby was back to back though and not for coming (no signs of distress at all on monitor) despite over an hour pushing! Ended up having a C section but it was really positive. Staff were all fantastic!

Congratulations to all the other babies being born! There really is nothing like it

I've been getting bh and feeling sick whether it turns into anything I don't know! Got an obstetrician appt. tomorrow

Congratulations on your baby boy!!

Gets to this time of night and baby starts booting off and I just can’t get comfortable. Been a few times I’ve just had to admit defeat and go to bed so he calms down . Hope he comes in the next few days . I’ll be at my wits end if I have to wait for the induction on 31st
