Ok. So just realised our thread had been moved and closed so I hope you all find your way back to this one!

@starflake congratulations to you

My daughter arrived yesterday 6lbs14 also ended up in surgery with placenta problems. Having an MRI scan today to check it's all been removed. I'm in a lot of pain had suction cap used and has to be cut twice as I was stitched then started to bleed. 🙈
I agree C section next time 😁

However wouldn't change he for the world xx

@starflake @Funnybunnyfluff congratulations to you both on your gorgeous little ones!! The wait is over! Well done, sounds like you both had a bit of a tough time of it but those gorgeous faces make up for that I’m sure 😍! Congratulations!!

@jpaws good luck with your second sweep I hope this works for you and your little one arrives before induction!

I’ve been thinking about how all these babies have been not ready to come out and all this intervention we get, I know there is a risk the placenta stops working after a certain time but our bodies are clearly incredible you’d think they would know when to release the baby before that point, so I wonder why all this panic at 42 weeks... 🤔

Hope everyone is well. Still no signs for me today!

Skb90 · 19/12/2019 09:39

@Dec19baby thanks, totally agreed, going to use the time to relax although pelvic pain is getting even worse now.

Congratulations @starflake and @funnybunnyfluff :)

Comps83 · 19/12/2019 10:23

Congratulations on all the babies! How exciting and terrifying it’s getting
I wonder if anyone will actually have an actual Xmas day baby .

Congratulations!!! Both beautiful babies!

I am incredibly jealous that your babies are here and you can settle and enjoy Christmas now 😭 but am happy for you both!

RLI1105 · 19/12/2019 15:52

Congratulations on all the new babies!!! 😍😍 It's all so exciting!

I have felt super dodgy since about lunchtime today. Really crampy stomach and back pain. It seems to have settled a bit now.... literally every twinge I'm thinking "is this it?!" 😂

Comps83 · 19/12/2019 15:53

@RLI1105 every twinge I get turns out to be wind! Grin

@Funnybunnyfluff aww congratulations, shes beautiful x

@TTc2019BabyNo1 thanks. I hope it works too, wasn't very pleasant - I think made worse by knowing it was going to be uncomfortable. Unfortunately still only 2cm 😔 unless this one works induction is looking more and more likely. I really hate the waiting, knowing it's going to hurt, and not just being able to get it over with.

December2019 · 19/12/2019 20:48

Congratulations on these gorgeous new babies 😍😍
I'm getting very impatient now and really starting to struggle

aliensprig · 19/12/2019 21:05

Omgosh so many babies!! Congratulations everyone, you've all done so well! I really hope my time is soon, just want to meet my little boy now... Aching all over Sad whose due date is next?! I've got til NYE Confused

GrannyClanger · 20/12/2019 05:32

Congratulations on those beautiful babies! I had a growth scan last night, and they now think baby is measuring really small, so I had a sweep but booked in for induction on Sunday if nothing happens between now and then. Grin

Comps83 · 20/12/2019 08:15

I’m due on 24th
Sweep booked for Monday and induction booked for 31st
I’ve just asked my friend to pick me up some witch doctor stuff from Holland & Barrett. I’m sure it’s just old wives tale stuff through

bespokepaininthearse · 20/12/2019 09:56

I'm due 28th 😖 I'm off to buy dates today as I heard that can help bring on labour, sex, long walks, hot food, and raspberry leaf tea hasn't helped so far!!

TTc2019BabyNo1 · 20/12/2019 12:39

@bespokepaininthearse ahh I haven’t done the dates, I‘ve done everything else though 🙄!! I was nearly sick on pineapple 🤢! Not sure I can stomach dates!

I’ve been a bit teary and generally down the last few days, various people stressing me out about various things and literally ended up balling my eyes out last night.

Had some snot-like mucus in the night (tmi 🙈 sorry!) but I don’t think it’s my plug as not very much and not bloody. So still just waiting for something to happen 🙄...

lazybutton · 20/12/2019 13:48

I was due on 17th, had hoped he/she would have arrived before now. Was feeling good yesterday, had a surge of energy, pounding the streets finishing off my xmas shopping but absolutely shattered today.

Got serious mum guilt that this one will make an appearance on Christmas day and will hate it every year!

NapsAndTea · 20/12/2019 16:56

Our 27th baby arrived on the 19th in the early hours even thought it started on the 17th in the evening 😩 I said it's a section for me next time too - also had surgery to remove the placenta but all worth it now x

TTc2019BabyNo1 · 20/12/2019 17:07

@NapsAndTea aww congratulations!!! How exciting!! All these early arrivals!

Comps83 · 20/12/2019 17:21

Movements are getting so uncomfortable now that he has less room but is just as active
At the 10 weeks scan he was flinging this little nubbins about and he hasn’t stopped since . Sometimes I have to go to bed just so he’ll calm down

Xiaohei · 20/12/2019 17:25

I was due on the 15th.....but I’m not holding out too much hope of going just yet as DS 2 was 12 days over due date. I’m literally going to be pregnant for ever aarrrggghhh

Nixby3 · 20/12/2019 19:08

Congratulations all on your gorgeous babies! I'm also due on 24th- did have a section booked yesterday because baby was breech but she turned so they decided to cancel. I'm relieved though because I was dreading the recovery time after. I've had a few niggles but nothing since last night.

Comps83 · 20/12/2019 19:11

I’ve had absolutely no signs that this baby is coming any time soon
I think he’s going to be huge too Sad

OP posts:
Nixby3 · 20/12/2019 19:14

Ds was 11 days late and dd was 7 days late so I could be an early January baby!

bespokepaininthearse · 20/12/2019 19:35

@Comps83 I'm in the same boat, baby is back to back and now only engaged 1/5, not looking like it's going anywhere any time soon 😖 was really hoping it would come a little bit early as I will be doing school runs the next day on my own if it comes in January 😭

Comps83 · 20/12/2019 19:49

I don’t even know which way mine is facing!
I got some clary sage oil which I will try in the bath on Sunday and after my sweep on Monday . Got some raspberry leaf tea too
My friend recommended putting some primrose oil ‘up there’ but think I’ll give that a miss Confused
