@Bluebelltulip so sorry for your loss.

Just seen my doctor and apparently these little episodes I'm having is the beginning of fainting. She's not sure why either, very scary!

DinoGreen · 04/06/2019 11:19

@LillyLeaf I had virtually no symptoms with my DC1 and same again this time round, just sore boobs, that’s it. Try not to worry, some of us are just lucky! But I know what you mean, I had an early scan with my first and was fully expecting them to say there’s nothing in there.

Mirana · 04/06/2019 11:36

@Bluebelltulip I'm so sorry for your loss. Welcome to the thread Flowers

@LillyLeaf It's completely normal to not have many symptoms, especially this early. Your hormone levels are rising, but you may be on the lower side of the spectrum, or just able to cope with hormonal fluctuations better! I know at this stage we over analyse everything, but so far, you a normal, and you're doing great. Appreciate it whilst it lasts! The second I get even a hint of a cold I'm heaving and so anticipated sickness. You're also still really early, so try not to stress.

I've decided education is awful. I did a year of midwifery training and a year of doula training. I was looking over my notes for first trimester complications and I've made myself ill. I'm never going back to education ever again lmao.

Bluebelltulip · 04/06/2019 11:38

@LillyLeaf symptoms in pregnancy vary massively. I didn't get any sickness with DD1 until 8 weeks, DD2 it started at 3 weeks. This time I've had nausea since 5 weeks. I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry about lack of symptoms.

Mirana · 04/06/2019 11:38

I also realised I'm an idiot and have already forgotten 80% of what's in these notes. Probably 90% of the questions I've asked my GP, the midwives and the consultant I didn't need to. Ffs lmao! Just feels so different when it's happening to you compared to when you're making bullet points.

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 04/06/2019 12:12

@DaisyMay25 I've fainted loads with my last and I've started to with this one too

DaisyMay25 · 04/06/2019 12:14

@Victoriaaaaaaaa oh no! I hope you're okay! Did they say why it happens?

LillyLeaf · 04/06/2019 12:15

Thanks everyone, I know you're all right, it's so hard not to over think.

Cindy61 · 04/06/2019 12:49

@Mirana love your old notes!!! Grin

NewbieMam · 04/06/2019 13:27

Rang doctors and they didn't have another booking in appointment other than 2 days early (20th Jan, the other was 18th and I'll still be 11 weeks) midwife just called me back and said I can go to the hospital rather than GP and she's got my booking in appointment this Saturday at 9:15! AHH now I'm excited, booking in Saturday private scan Sunday!! BlushGrin

mynameisMrG · 04/06/2019 13:34

@TheOnlyMrsA that actually made me laugh out loud 😂😂😂 I will never be able to read that book (my DSs favourite) in the same way again 😂😂

Is this last week dragging for anyone else? I have my next scan tomorrow and I swear three months have gone by since the last one. Considering all I am doing is sleeping and moaning you would think the days would be flying by!

Hey. Just joining in. I’m 40 this year and expecting my 3rd child 30th jan 2020. My youngest is 14 so quite an age difference.
We had a miscarriage last October which
Was surgically managed. I’m very nervous right now as nearing the time it all went wrong last time.

Self referred to the midwife should get a booking in appointment when I between 8-11 weeks. Seems so far away.

TheOnlyMrsA · 04/06/2019 14:37

@mynameisMrG honestly I feel like all I say is 'but I'm still hungry' 😂🙄 the very hungry pregnant woman. 😂🤰🐛

I agree on the slow week, I have my booking in appt a week Saturday and I'm just like hurry up I need my 12 week date ASAP! Xox

megganonion · 04/06/2019 14:38

Hey all, hope everyone is well. Went to gp this morning with a suspected kidney infection, she referred me for a scan with epu as urine was clear but intense pain in lower right groin and abdomen, was so unexpected but glad i got to see my little bean and a strong heartbeat. All looks well in gyne end (ive had large ovarian cysts in the past) so have been referred to xray department for further urinary tract scans (they think kidney stones??)

Anyone else have kidney stones before? I getting really intense pain in lower right abdomen and shootin pains up my back into right kidney but urine clear with dipstick!

@Bluebelltulip congratulations and sorry to hear about your baby awful thing to happen to someone. X

anitagreen · 04/06/2019 14:50

My Scan went well measured perfectly for my dates and baby was moving around really sweet. I think I may leave this one as a surprise as I have a boy and a girl already but what puts me off doing that is not being able to buy pink or blue clothes! X

MummyBearBoo · 04/06/2019 15:36

@LillyLeaf -if this is your first pregnancy symptoms do usually seem to start later- with my DD I didn't even know I was pregnant for the first 6 weeks but then my boobs kinda went hard but apart from that I had no symptoms, my two other pregnancies have been totally different and symptoms started much earlier so don't panic! Xx

LillyLeaf · 04/06/2019 15:51

@MummyBearBoo it's my 2nd pregnancy but miscarried the first, I think because I pretty much feel the same as last time I'm expecting the same result. I've just got to get to Friday then I'll know what's going on.

DaisyMay25 · 04/06/2019 15:52

@anitagreen glad the scan went well!
I've be finding out, in fact I'll be booking a scan for 16+3 to find out early because I'm impatient!
I think it'll be a girl but the last three days I've dreamt it's a boy!

mynameisMrG · 04/06/2019 15:53

That sounds rough @megganonion, I don’t have any experience but sending a hand hold.

Congratulations @anitagreen

I’ve just polished off a bag of haribo @TheOnlyMrsA

@DaisyMay25 it's so exciting isn't it what are you hoping for?
The night before I found out the sex with my first I was convinced boy, then I had this weird dream where I gave birth and saw it was a girl and felt really happy and I just knew waking up it was a girl,
And it was lol, my symptoms was sweet stuff, mood swings, spotty, carrying more on the belly and bum and craving McDonald's cold coke off their tap thing.
With my son I had very dry skin, craved the smell of chemicals and hated sweet stuff x

anitagreen · 04/06/2019 16:05

@mynameisMrG Thank You x

KMic · 04/06/2019 16:07

Hi all,

Got my second scan at the EPU tomorrow afternoon when I get back from Majorca ... praying that the bleeding was old blood and nothing is wrong. The waiting game is horrendous. They think I was around this far along when the last one stopped growing with my MMC in Jan ... I think that thought has the anxiety levels higher and normal about it all. Trying to think that 'what will be will be' as don't want to have my dreams shattered again by getting my hopes up too high.

If all is well after the scan I will be pm-ing you to join the fb group @Victoriaaaaaaaa Smile

I'm 8+2 today based on dates, but I was measuring about a week less than my dates when I went for my first scan a week ago ... so will know more tomorrow - hopefully! These first 12 weeks are just the worst!

How's everyone doing with symptoms? My nausea has reduced a bit - was awful around week 7 - but is still there hovering in the background! Tiredness is a standard feeling for me these days so I take that with a pinch of salt! Lol. And my boobs hurt but only really if I push them. Xx

mynameisMrG · 04/06/2019 16:09

What times your scan @KMic? Mines at 3pm
