I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

@SideEyeing I'm so so happy for you!!!

MrsGrahamx · 15/04/2019 20:54

@pip231018 It does feel heavy! I just called the dr today and my first midwife appointment is on the 13th of May, so still quite a bit away which is annoying but what can I do, just hope they will definitely scan then otherwise I'll go nuts 😊 when is your appointment?

agteacht · 15/04/2019 20:57

Aw so pleased for you @SideEyeing - what a fab pic!
Did they give any insight as to why the spotting, just one of those things?

You're making me want to bring my scan forward...

Pip231018 · 15/04/2019 21:03

@MrsGrahamx I've got my scan on 21st, I will be exactly 7 weeks from my last period, so hopefully that will be long enough to see a heartbeat. My booking in app is the 24th so hopefully my dating scan app will come in not too long after.

I found out on April 1st and at first every minute was like an hour, but things have sped up a bit. Grateful for a busy day at work as it takes my mind off things. Plus everyone seems to be pregnant, talking about being pregnant or asking me if I'm still thinking about having babies. I'm a terrible liar too. Ha! X

Runnerchick80 · 15/04/2019 21:08

Congratulations @SideEyeing. Bet you’re made up! Can I ask how did you work out your dates? I’m so confused! Some websites say I’m 5 weeks and others 6 something Confused

MrsGrahamx · 15/04/2019 21:14

@pip231018 fingers crossed for you! I also feel time is taking forever, I've got my own dog walking business so no colleagues and just dogs to talk to 😂😂 At least I can tell them though 😉

lordofthefries · 15/04/2019 21:23

@Pip231018 Yep, it was internal.

@blondie87 We saw a little bean

Beaglemum93 · 15/04/2019 21:34

Hi and congratulations everyone!

Tentatively joining as had 2 losses (MMC in October - baby died at 12+2 and CP last month).

Estimated due date is Christmas day! I'm only 3+5 but I found out at 3+1 so it already feels like an eternity! Haha

PinkFizz19 · 15/04/2019 22:37

@Lozzlepop Thank you so much for your message. Sorry I missed it earlier.

@JayDot500 @agteacht Thank you for the lovely messages. We ended up back at the out of hours ward of the hospital tonight. Red bleeding started this afternoon and got progressively worse like a period. They've checked my cervix and it's still closed so we have some hope. They've taken bloods and will ring me tomorrow. Told me to keep my scan for next Tuesday and might just need to repeat bloods in 48hours to check if the hcg levels are rising or falling. Trying not to worry whilst we still have some hope 💛 just said to go straight back if it worsens.

Taking it easy for a couple of days. Work can wait. It's going to be a duvet/couch day tomorrow with Netflix.

Lots of love to everyone on this one of a kind journey xxx

@Roxybaby12 Hope you're doing ok sweet. Keeping you in our thoughts xxx

Ladysap · 15/04/2019 23:01

Hey I'm due 1st Dec can i join? #2 following 4 years of IVF for secondary infertility. DC1 is going to turn 7 in May and I feel like I've forgotten everything!

SideEyeing · 15/04/2019 23:12

Thanks so much guys :) I've still got the EPU scan on Thursday as a follow up to the bleeding that happened last week so I'm hoping I'll be able to get a bit more insight into why that happened. Sent my Mum the same pic and she said 'Aw, sweet, you're having a prawn' (I don't think early scans were a thing in 1990) Hmm Grin

One thing they didn't do was measure the heart rate of aforementioned prawn. The sonographer seemed happy with it and when I asked said they don't do it at this stage at their clinic but she was happy with what she could see. Of course I'm now re-watching the clip over and over trying to count. Hopefully on Thurs they'll let me know.

@Runnerchick80 I've had the same issue with dates as I have shorter than average cycles (25 days rather than 28) so some websites have used my LMP (2nd March) and put me at 6w2 whereas some take into account the shorter cycle plus my O day and they put me at 6w5. The scan today suggested 6w5 so that's what I'm going with! EDD Dec 4.

@agteacht The sonographer suggested it might have been my cervix, which could make sense though I felt like the red bleed was a bit too much for that. They couldn't see anything on the scan strangely.

The downside is I now want a scan every week, which may bankrupt us. Thursday will be interesting as a comparison but then it's going to be a loooong wait. 6.5 weeks down - please hang in there at least another 31 or so, 'prawn!'

@Pinkfizz19 I hope you're OK. A few duvet days sounds like exactly the right course of action - look after yourself and rest up.

Pip231018 · 16/04/2019 06:14

@MrsGrahamx Ah, I love that. The dogs will care. Supposed to become more protective too. I have 3 cats and 1 is always with me but she is mega clingy and my OH keep saying 'she won't like the baby' - she best had do. I'm not getting rid of her.

I fell asleep at about 9.30 last night. Can't keep my eyes open. X

MrsGrahamx · 16/04/2019 07:57

@pip231018 I know, I'd be well offended if my dogs wouldn't like the baby 😂
Managed to not take a test this morning, woohoo! 😉

Pip231018 · 16/04/2019 08:02

@MrsGrahamx Progress! I've limited myself to one every Sunday because that marks the start of a new week. And will do one on the day of booking in app, just to be sure. Ha!

Feeling a little sicky this morning, but can't tell if it's cos I need to eat breakfast. I miss the days of not analysing everything! Hope you're ok x

BostonFern · 16/04/2019 08:07

@PinkFizz19 how are you doing this morning? X

@Beaglemum93 and @Ladysap welcome!

MrsGrahamx · 16/04/2019 08:07

@pip231018 Nobody I know ever mentioned the over analysing, I was not prepared!! I'm feeling great as usual, no signs of pregnancy whatsoever 😂
Enjoy your day! X

MrsGrahamx · 16/04/2019 08:09

@ladysap congratulations!!! 😍

MrsGrahamx · 16/04/2019 08:11

@beaglemum93 Congratulations! My app tells me I'm due on the 18th so I'm just ahead of you 😁 How are you feeling??

Coffeeandcake87 · 16/04/2019 08:31

@beaglemum I'm due 27th also found out at exactly 3 weeks. This week has been so soooo slow

blondie87 · 16/04/2019 09:01

I don't really feel pregnant either yet! I'm sure the morning sickness is just round the corner...

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 16/04/2019 17:06

Thanks for all your help yesterday, I'm finally getting somewhere, my midwife called me and is arranging for a prescription to collect from my GP and she's booked me in for my booking appointment a week on Friday. It's all starting to feel a bit real now.

agteacht · 16/04/2019 19:02

I don't know what's happened to me. I've turned into a crazy-symptom-spotting-twinge-obsessed-date-counting wreck. Who knew a tiny thing could have this impact!

PickledEgg89 · 16/04/2019 19:07

All these scans are really exciting!
On the early scan front, I'm unsure what to do. I got scans with my youngest (16 months) because I had 2 missed miscarriages before her. We have now relocated so I will be under a different GP and hospital. I had a miscarriage in January but I'm not sure that's enough reason to be referred for an early one! Might have a look around at paying for a private one.
So I'm 4+4 today I think, been feeling slightly nauseas today and yesterday. I'm so paranoid because I had HG with my last 2 babies, in and out of hospital and on meds until I gave birth. I'm really wishing I can have a break this time!
Hooe everyone is doing okay x

agteacht · 16/04/2019 19:30

@SideEyeing ohhh I can imagine the feeling is addictive!! I think the bleeding may end up being 'one of those thjngs'. I have a scan scheduled for a week on Saturday when I should be 7+5 as wanted to be sure I'd hear a heartbeat if all well. But reading your story I don't know if I can cope with a further 10 days of waiting!

MinnieLou · 16/04/2019 21:19

I'm really struggling at the moment 😩
I'm 7 weeks tomorrow, have my epu scan Thursday (fingers crossed all is fine) but I constantly have a bellyache, sometimes it's soothed sometimes I have a shooting pain and sometimes I'm in an awful lot of pain like today whilst shopping, I've put on half a stone already and just don't feel myself at all! I'm always tired and often feel faint, seriously don't know how I'm going to cope the next 33 weeks.....
hope everyone else is okay x
