Hello! I think there are a few of us knocking around the due date boards, so I thought I'd make us a cozy spot of our own.
I'm expecting number three at the end of September, so early days yet. It was all a bit spur of the moment, and I'm cacking myself to be honest. I keep losing it with the kids I already have so not quite sure how I'll cope with three!!

So-
DustyDoorframes, DS5 And DD2, EDD 29 September

(And you don't actually have to take them to secondary every day do you?? Right??? Please say it isn't so!!)

Mm I was still taking mine to college as she couldn't get on bus due to anxiety but generally speaking I hope not! It will only be 25yrs if not counting high school.

Keep meaning to come and update.. spare time is fairly elusive at present!

Finally had my boy on the 3rd March, 17 days late!! Weighed 10lb 7oz so I’m glad he didn’t go much more over.

Went in for induction but didn’t need more than the pessary thankfully.. so ended up as a fairly natural labour, with just gas and air 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Still haven’t named the boy 😆🤷🏻‍♀️

DustyDoorframes · 09/03/2019 10:58

Yay! Congrats @NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking !
Haha, that was us with our first, names are so hard!!!!!
V glad it was easy (well, as easy as such a whopper can be!) and I hope you are all settling in nicely!
Do your bigger ones have lots of terrible name ideas??? Our eldest thought our second should have the same name as him...

Congratulations @NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking was hoping you were busy with a newborn!

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 09/03/2019 22:20

Thank you 😊

My older kids are a fair bit older at 11 & 13, but the name suggestions are interesting!

Heimdall or Zeus anyone? 😂

Easterbuns1 · 10/03/2019 09:46

My oldest just suggested names of people we knew, youngest wrote out a lovely list for me that actually had normal names on it but none of them were really my thing. I think I've got about 10 names in the world I actually like Blush

DustyDoorframes · 10/03/2019 09:55

Well there won't be many Heimdallr in the playground, tee hee!

Congratulations @notasgreenascabbagelooking! My dd3 was 9lb10 so I'm expecting this one to be 10lb+!

Felipa · 10/03/2019 19:05

Hi everyone

This is the thread for me. Am 6 weeks with #4. Massive surprise is an understatement. I had always wanted 4 but after going through terrible toddler year with number 3 we decided to be sensible, use head over heart and stop there.
When I first found out there was a good few days of panic. I was looking forward to reduced childcare fees when my youngest starts nursery in September and me getting back to working more hours. Now I'm due in November. Don't even want to calculate the years of school run!!

DustyDoorframes · 10/03/2019 20:29

Welcome @Felipa !
My timing is atrocious too- I'm due to start a promotion in September, and DD is to start nursery. And my EDD is 29th sept...

Thanks Dusty!
What will you do about the new job?
It's very stressful isn't it? And I feel like I should be trying to stay relaxed at the minute.

DustyDoorframes · 11/03/2019 09:34

Well, fortunately we are a tiny organisation and very close- it's almost the organisation having the promotion in a way, as we are starting a massive new project. I told them as soon as I knew, and we are figuring out how to manage without me for a bit (I have very specific skills, and also in a previous job was let go in favour of my maternity cover. Yup. So I have fear- even though I know it won't happen again in this context I'm not keen on employing an exact cover- we might roll it into another job we need to recruit for then, with me using KIT days to keep some of the best bits...)
I'm in a very fortunate position with work!!

Oh god, I've just realised that nobody bar me and DP has ever put DC2 to bed yet. She's coming up for 3! We are never going out together again, are we??? If we've nobody to hand to take 2 DC for the evening 3 is going to be completely out of the question...

Felipa · 15/03/2019 14:34

We hardly ever get out with 3...maybe once a year for an anniversary or birthday but thats it. We have a complete lack of babysitters though.....now resigned to the fact that with 4 there is no chance!
